We ordered new siding through DaBella. When we ordered the product, we were notified that after all measurements were taken, that the product could take a couple weeks to arrive. We were fine with this but did let the salesmen know that we would be leaving on vacation that month so the installation needed to be complete before our departure. The siding installation was complete a few days before we left, however, the garage door repairwas performed by a different contractor and was done the day before we left. I was uncomfortable with the timing, considering we had let the company know several times that we would be on a specific time frame. The contractor called me the morning of installation and let me know that the worker was running behind as he had encountered some traffic picking up the door and parts. He was supposed to arrive at 9 am. He arrived at 3 pm. I had waited the entire day for him and had work that I could no longer put off so I had to leave him working on my house. He seemed put off that I was leaving. He was gone when I returned home later that afternoon. We left for vacation the next day. The contractor called me three times but did not leave a message. On his fourth call, I answered. He said that because I wasn't home when he finished the work, he did not get his paperwork signed. I explained that I had waited all day for him to arrive and that I was in Disneyland and unable to sign any paperwork for him. He got angry and said that he wasn't going to get paid until he got signed paperwork from the home owner. I told him I would have to deal with it when I returned in two weeks. He was less than happy with my response. The installation of the siding itself went smoothly. The two man crew was very competent, professional and punctual. They kept my house and yard very tidy and did their best to be careful around my garden area. They even bravely fought a hidden nest of wasps during installation. My only complaint is that they did not properly install the stairs off my back sliding glass door. They rested the stairs against the house but did not secure them to the house. My husband stepped onto the stairs, which slid away from the house and fell down. I called DaBella and they sent the crew back the following day to finish the repair. This could have been a very serious incident and a disappointing moment of their service. All in all, DaBella has been a good company to work with. Aside from a few issues with their sub-contractors, they are punctual, professional and hard working. The materials used are great quality and I would do business with them again.
