We've had used them for 12 years, at first it was great, staff were knowledgeable and competent. In the last few years, services had drastically deteriorated. These were the problems I encountered which ultimately led to the early termination of our service contract with Pyramid heating. 1. I was complaining about the electronic filters were still dirty after their service, so their solution to the problem is to turn down the speed of the air flow, which was suppose to be at optimum level. The air flow now is minimal, now my room temperature on the main floor has a 2-3 degrees difference, which did not happen before. 2. Pyramid heating quoted me $800 just for labor to put a warranty replacement humidifier in, where all plumbing and electrical is already in place. So they need 7-8 hours of labor to put in the humidifier in?? Where everything is there already?? I asked them this question and their response was that it would take $800 just to put the replacement unit in. 3. The reason that I need a humidifier replaced was because their technician who came to service the unit, broke it. And they try to charge me for replacing it. 4. Maintenance work done in the past few years were not good quality, I have complained about it several times, promises of improvements were made but never kept. 5. When I tried to terminate the service contract because of bad service work, it took months, and not until I threatened to call the General Attorney's office, did they return my call and issued the refund. I would not recommend Pyramid Heating for any kind of work, their work is substandard, and not honest in pricing.
