Diane came and she looked around our home and kind of helped me get a plan of what needed to be organized. and we were trying to plan to sell our house. So she was also helping to get things packed up to stage the home. So she came in and she packed up our entire garage, which was quite a lengthy, big, long project. she also packed up an entire office for us. She helped me get my closet organized. I have 2 little kids. She was fantastic. My attention got kind of pulled sometimes. She could still keep working, even though my attention go divided. She is pretty calm and unflappable. Not much ruffles her feathers. So she is pretty easy going. When we went through my closet, she even helped me take the things that we decided that were no longer to keep, over to the place we talked about where we wanted them to go and she took them there for me.

Elizabeth is absolutely terrific! I have ADD and the clutter was destroying me. Elizabeth came in, and within minutes, I knew I could hand everything over to her and she would give me just what I needed. She "learns" about a room and feels out its best use and organization, and then works tirelessly to make it happen. She's been out four times (I think) and I expect will be coming back to help me with more tasks. She's thoughtful, detailed, hard-working, reasonably priced, and encouraging to those of us who are organizationally-challenged. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Words cannot describe how happy I am! My home had gotten full to the brim with stuff -- both mine and things that came into the house after mom passed away. I had one room that I couldn't even walk into. It was depressing, overwhelming, and embarrassing. Diane and Amy didn't bat an eye. I work at home, so they worked around me some of the time. They're quick and thorough and totally non-judgmental. I feel like I have a new house! The room that couldn't be entered now is a great fiber room with all my knitting supplies, a comfy rocker, and a spinning wheel. I love it. My garage has so much room now. My closet actually IS a walk-in. It's amazing. I now think two, three, or four times before bringing anything new into the house and I can find things I already have without digging through piles to do it. I highly recommend Diane's services. Don't live under a pile of stuff anymore!

For a Christmas present, my husband bought me the services of an Organizer and found Lisa on the web. The first time I used her (I've used her twice - once for Christmas and then again for my Birthday) we put in order my music room/office. The second time she helped me organize my bedroom. She helped me decide whether I wanted to use existing furniture and organize around it or buy new/used furniture. I opted for buying used furniture and she helped me find affordable quality pieces to make my dream come true. I have a really well-organized office and bedroom that make coming home from a long work day so fantastic!

Thimmappa's team built new drawers and drawer and cabinet organizers for our kitchen update a week ago. We absolutely LOVE our new drawers and organized kitchen! They worked closely with our refinishing contractor to custom build gloriously functional and efficient drawers, replacing all of our kitchen drawers. He recommended taking four small stacking drawers and making them into two deep drawers, and I'm so glad we did. They are much more functional with the deep space - perfect for organizing all those plastic storage containers and their lids, and more easily accessible for our small child. We also got the drawer-in-drawer - two cutlery trays in one drawer. It is a very cool, functional design and nice to have all my utensils in one spot for easy organization to find just the right tool. Finally, they built and installed an amazing blind corner organizer in my dark, cavernous corner, bottom cabinet. I always felt the cabinet in the corner was not useful and anything that was put in there was lost forever. Not now. The trays easily glide out so that I can access all the items without having to crawl into the cabinet. It seems like I have double the space with the same cabinet. There were two items I wanted to add to the project and ordered, but they didn't fit. Thimmappa was very flexible, removing those items from the project. ShelfGenie's portion of the project cost about $4400, with the total project costing about $12,000. Thimmappa is professional, courteous, respectful, flexible, helpful, and responsive. I highly and enthusiastically recommend ShelfGenie of Portland. I absolutely love my new drawers and organized cabinets!

Wow, Penolope was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment she stepped into my mess of a home office, she seemed to bring a light to the space. She was never put off by my "organized piles"... Instead, she helped me simply and understandably change the way I used the space. I run two businesses from home and things tend to get pretty hectic around here. Penelope took the time to listen to my needs and really understand how I function in the office. The first visit left me inspired and eager to try out some of her suggestions. After implementing what I realistically could, Penelope came back for the follow up analyzed how I was doing, brought a bunch of new organization tools, files, binders, etc. Penelope was recommended to me by a friend and it has proven to be one of the most valuable connections I've had the pleasure of making. I’m not sure where to begin but after my fist 5 hour session with both Catherine and Kris, I made the decision to cancel a vacation and use the money instead to pay for as many sessions with the Escape Your Chaos team as possible as their miracle work transforming my entire home is giving me the peace and calm I’ve so desperately needed! More than any vacation could! So far I have had 4 sessions with the team over the course of a week and 1/2 and it feels like I’ve experienced a miracle. So there’s that. I consider myself to be pretty organized, I am clean, have a beautiful space and run an air bnb business out of my home called Sanctuary in the City. Some people say I have a gift with design. I found myself stuck, however, with a home and garage full of family history, art, memorabilia, stuff, photos, paintings, .....and a house full of emotional items from my deceased mom and brother. And kitty. And ex boyfriends... causing a major blockage in my ability to live with freedom and joy. I hadn’t seen my garage floor in 2 years and my bedroom and kitchen areas were a mess! So I called Escape Your Chaos thinking I just needed one 4 hour work session with the team.. I was very apprehensive at first about having people go through my personal things and home.and tell me what to Toss, what to keep, etc. while redecorating! it’s certainly a vulnerable position to be in and I wondered if it would be worth the investment. Enter Escape Your Chaos! So far this capable and caring team has helped me completely transform my small garage with a brilliant storage system just using shelves and labeled bins. They told me in advance what to order so it was ready. We worked as a team throughout the whole process. I had to go through tubs and tubs of emotional memorabilia and memories of my moms life. And let a lot of it go. Catherine listened to stories about my mom. Let me take videos and digital photos and poof had Kris compassionately remove the items or place them in tubs that I could easily identify and deal with! And there were a lot of things. I cried a lot. And she knew when I wasn’t ready to let go of something. It was the same with my deceased brothers items. We spent another session creating an office system for me. She helped organize all of my documents and created a working portable filing office system that I will use for the rest of my life. The team hung mirrors and art with detailed precision and care. Placed large rugs and calmly decluttered everything in my kitchen and home while doing other tasks. Furniture was moved and placed. The best way to describe the way they work would be art in motion. They worked tirelessly not stopping to eat... after a while I learned to just trust their process. Get out of their way.. and make sure they were drinking water. They redesigned my bedroom using current art, moving furniture around adding things in and brilliantly placing meaningful objects. They followed my ideas and goals for the space. They honored precious keepsakes and gave me choices during the whirlwind transformation process. I’ve lived in my home for 20 years and have never seen my bedroom look so beautiful... and I didn’t buy a thing! Moving forward I now will use what I have learned to continue this decluttering and design process on my own with joy and confidence. And Escape Your Chaos will be my permanent go to team. The biggest gift you could do for yourself.. or someone else would be to hire them for a 4 hour session. Hire both of them. And let them do their magic together. Catherine and Kris each have their own unique skills and when combined can do in a few hours what might take someone like me a lifetime to accomplish. Recent Review: Hats off to the Maid to Organize crew! These two amazing gals stopped by my house this weekend to help me make sense of a few ODD, poorly organized spaces in my 1929 farm house and even got my kiddos involved ❤️ We went over pricing for the project yesterday and it was very reasonable for al the work and supplies. I’m dyyyying to see the work done 🤩 I called last Friday, “can you come tomorrow?!” And the work will be done by the end of this week.

Recent Review: A family member passed on and I thought I would have to take care of their effects. I’m a caregiver to my mother and taking time away from her would be problematic. I talked to ThunderRose Consulting about the situation, they immediately offered to help. They showed so much compassion and care for me, while detailing what was needed to organize and move the deceased’s material goods. How could I say no? They went to the location and got straight to work. I know I would have been overwhelmed both physically and emotionally had I attempted to do what they so masterfully handled. They took charge from the get go, cleaning, procuring moving trucks, boxes, tape (all necessary supplies), managing a crew of packers, sorting, labeling... everything was taken care of expediently, efficiently. That's expected of course, when hiring an organization expert. The real difference ThunderRose made was their caring, their compassion, their ability to get through the papers and possessions with respect and understanding. They were in communication with me throughout the time they were on the job. I was kept up to date on the whole process and never once felt I was left out of the loop or treated like "just another client." They cared. It showed. My relative, bless him, would be honored by their warmth and sympathetic treatment of his belongings. I am so grateful they were able to help in my time of need -- ThunderRose made all the difference. They’re at the top of my list.

Recent Review: Getting our home organized was a huge priority. We needed an affordable solution in order to address each room so we decided to do it ourselves! We discovered Closets To Go who specializes in CUSTOM closets AND offers a DIY (do it yourself) option and couldnt be more pleased! We were surprised how easy and quickly the installation was especially after the first one. Everything looks SOOOO professional and it was a fraction of the cost doing it ourselves. Our home is way less chaotic now, the kids actually enjoy putting their toys/clothes away and I get alot of pleasure out how organized my family has become. We highly recommend Closets To Go. Recent Review: Amy was great to work with. I needed help getting over that initial hump of getting started attacking the mess. Amy worked with us all day and had many helpful suggestions and ideas for organizing clutter. One of the things I appreciated the most is that Amy knows what to do with all the stuff you want to get rid of, but don't know how. She knows what and where to recycle and donate and hauls it away for you. Excellent work and a very clean, low stress, functional office as a result. I would hire her again.

Pros: The staff were considerate, hard working, professional and efficient. Cons: I object to the cost. They charged far more per hour, nearly twice the hourly wage I take home in my paycheck as a doctor. I stopped services when I realized I was spending so much more per hour than I take home in wages. Their estimate was in thousands of dollars, yet the project remains unfinished. By the way, I have no qualms with the work completed. I would hire them in the future if they would come down considerably on their estimates.
