Absolutely great service! My furnace broke down on a Saturday. Kad responded right away to my request for an emergency furnace repair. The repairman was very polite and professional. But most importantly, he was honest about the issue. No major repairs were needed. It was a small simple fix and he was honest about it. He also gave us the head up that our furnace was on it's last leg. This was true since it's over 30 years old. Having a repair person from Kad Heating and Cooling was such a great experience that my husband and I are considering using Kad to install a new Heating / AC Unit this spring. My husband and I highly recommend them.

The electrician and his apprentice were extremely thorough and helpful. They were kind enough to repair the switch as it was dangerous to leave it that way. All outlets were tested and outside outlets in the back were tested found in need of repair but were not on the schedule. I will be calling them back to repair the back outside outlet.

It went well. Jeff arrived about 15 minutes after he called. He explained what he was doing, he gave me some pointers on keeping it maintained, and he gave a reasonable estimate on a repair that needed done. The repair couldn't be done at this visit due to the part needing to be ordered but he explained how to repair would be done, the time needed to do the repair, and an estimated length of time on when he would be able to come back to do the repair. He was cool with my dog and she seemed to really like him. I was really satisfied with Jeff, his professionalism, kindness, and the work he performed.

I have used Cunningham Shannon in the past for many maintenance and repair jobs including repairs to furnace, routine maintenance on furnace and air conditioning, replacement of hot water tank, and install shutoff valves on pipes to stationary sink. All the folks at Cunningham Shanor I have had contact with were very nice, professional, and most helpful. The folks sent to my house to do the repairs or maintenance were very knowledgeable, considerate, helpful, and polite. They always shared with me what they were doing and way, and offered recommendations for keeping things in repair in order to reduce the need for repairs. I think their prices are popular price but I have ALWAYS had a positive experience anytime I have used Cunningham and Shanor. I thrust them and would highly recommend them to others.

Electrician was prompt and professional. He called the home prior to arrival, and the main office called the day before service to keep the appointment. The electrician repaired the ceiling fan with ease and gave additional suggestions related to electrical repair. The electrician also looked at the electrical panel for rust and corrosion free of charge.

Furnace went out and wouldn't put out heat. They came and diagnosed it. They identified a blocked pressure switch which also appeared to have damage. They replaced it with an alternative part but that didn't resolve the issue. They then suggested the mainboard was broken (putting out power but not enough). They wanted to charge $350 for the pressure switch (a $60 part) and nearly a $1000 for the mainboard which they couldn't get in for weeks. Instead they pushed somewhat hard to replace the whole thing. I had another company come out and look. They identified the blocked lines to the pressure switch which they cleaned out further but then instead of suggesting that the mainboard was bad identified the bad capacitor on the blower motor. They only charged $68 for the pressure switch and $30 for the capacitor. Lesson here. Don't use South Hills for repairing a Lennox Furnace.

After taking measurements of the duct I was sent the estimate by email. The repair was scheduled for the following week. The quality of the repair was good. There was a mixup in the scheduling. I waited for one hour after the scheduled time before calling and then they sent someone out.

Super Service Award Recent Review: Every time John has done work at my house it has been outstanding. I am a Nervous Nelly and freak out when it comes to having someone work inside my home (it's just me and my cats), especially with something like gas lines and plumbing. He is professional, nice to my pets, answers all of my questions in a way I can understand, very patient if I have to ask more questions, doesn't leave a mess behind -- and most importantly -- he does a phenomenal job!! Recent Review: This is the first time we have used this company and we are so glad to have found them. They sent two employees, one who had the expertise was in the furnace side and the other in bathroom/kitchen plumbing. We had both of our furnaces checked and we feel that this individual was much more thorough than other companies that we have had out here in previous years. The other individual fixed a leak in our toilet which was supposedly repaired by another company.
