Recent Review: Dino returned my call within 24 hours. We scheduled an estimate for within a week. Dino was very professional and prompt. He was the only company out of 3 to provide an actual sample window so I could actually touch what I was ordering. We decided to go with Dun-Rite based on lowest estimate, in addition to, reviews on Angie's List. Once ordered, the windows took approximately 4 weeks to come in. The work began shortly thereafter. Leo and Keri were our installers. They were also professional, prompt and courteous. They did a great job installing even when they came across unanticipated obstacles (which there were a few; apparently the last windows installed were not done properly). I would definitely recommend this company again.

Recent Review: Roman was contacted for a comparison bid on a multi-unit townhouse building. Very punctual, showed professionalism explaining work methods and answering questions. A competitive price was offered. Receiving approval from the homeowners association was somewhat long and drawn out due to color choices, etc., but Roman was patient and even attended a homeowners meeting to answer any questions the board would have. The project was started on time and completed within the specified time frame. At the end of each day, all work related debris was cleaned up. The building looks beautiful. We are very happy with the outcome and would definitely call Empire again.

Recent Review: Once I contacted Zach he came out to the house and gave me an estimate within a few days. The estimate was less than another I had received. I felt like he listened to what my thoughts and needs were, made suggestions as to different ways things could be done and wrote up the estimate. I was given approximate start time of 4-6 wks but it ended up being closer to 8 wks because of the rain this spring. Zach kept in contact with me during those weeks to keep me updated as to when he thought he would be able to do my work. They arrived on the day scheduled, which I appreciated because I work part-time and had arranged to be home when possible. During the work on the gutters, they found that one of my drains was completely clogged from ground level to the exit point and suggested I get a plumber out to clear it before they put the new down spout on. The work looks great and even with the hard rains we have had since, the gutters worked perfectly.

Recent Review: I got so much more than I expected for the price. The guys were great, the work was immaculate and John (the owner) went over details with me, so I knew just what to expect. Although I opted not to install heat, a space heater provides all I need for all but the most frigid days. The three sets of sliding patio doors and the french doors creating the new connection into the dining room provide light and a great view of my yard year round. My house flows wonderfully and the beautiful indoor/outdoor carpeting makes it luxurious past anything I was expecting. John was originally hired to redo shingle my roof. Again, they were clean, quick and professional.

Recent Review: I was very pleased with the overall experience. I had obtained bids from three contractors. I chose Jason, because he was the most interested. He came to my house with samples at least three times. I was undecided on what I wanted and Jason was very informative and showed me samples of different types of siding, what would work, what wouldn't work, what was available in what colors. It was a big decision and I felt comfortable in the choice that I made. It turned out to be beautiful and I am very happy with it. I have received numerous compliments from family and friends. Everything went smoothly. It was done in an appropriate amount of time; the cleanup every day was super. Jason walked around the house with me on the last day and made sure everything was good and to make sure I didn't have any questions.

Recent Review: Overall everything was good and it looks great. Negatives- Original schedule request was for September but I received a call that crew was coming to install a few days before they would arrive in June. Early worked out, but I had already requested time off to be home for the install in sept and couldn’t get off for the earlier install date. If I were home I could’ve made sure the rest of what ended up being my negatives were addressed. The crew left when everything was 90% complete and didn’t return for a few weeks and 2 calls. They only re-hung half of the shutters and didn’t finish the gutters on the deck or garage. Positive note- they did return to complete this and it looks great now. I requested our new gutters not go into the ground but be diverted into my water barrels or go to 90degree reflectors that would take water away from the house. 3 times after I asked for this to be fixed, as well as an email with pictures , and they still go into the ground under the house in 2 places. This is the one thing I was unhappy with that did not get fixed. There was also a large pile of unused siding, insulation, and wood left in my driveway with no communication. I left it there for a few weeks thinking they would return to pick it up and reuse or clean up, but eventually just cleaned it up myself. Note - the only reason I take the time to note these negatives is because of the large cost of this investment. At 20k , I would suggest to the company to have a walk through with the client at the end of the job to get a sign off and assure satisfaction. I felt stranded with little communication at the end of the job wondering if they were coming back or not. Something as simple as a “we are all finished , here’s a list of the original requirements that we fulfilled, did everything get completed to your satisfaction?” -type document would’ve wrapped everything up, and made this review an A+ instead of a B grade. At 10k I would’ve been happy and silent, but at twice that cost, I thought I had to voice my concerns, for the benefit of both future clients, and for the company’s self -improvement . My advice to future clients is to be home and in communication with the team as much as possible while the job is happening. Positives - beautiful siding. New gutters look nice. Door frames, attic work , etc all look great. Sales guy Jon was great. Solid business model (just needs some better follow through on the installation /communication side, in my opinion. )

Recent Review: The installation of the gutters, gutter guards and repairs were performed to great satisfaction. There was an issue with the communication of the work to be performed (No gutter guards were installed on the first visit for installation) but I take partial responsibility for that since I did not review the estimate thoroughly to make sure that the service I expected was listed within the estimate. But we were able to workout the situation with no issue. Next, there was a subsequent scheduling issue with the installation of the gutter guards. But that was quickly resolved once Thomas and I spoke upon return from my vacation. Overall, I am satisfied with the work that was performed and the professionalism of Thomas and his crew.

Recent Review: These guys are so professional and responsive! After calling numerous businesses to quote us to replace old wood trim on our Victorian style house with cement board, they were only one of two companies to actually respond, show up at the agreed to time and provide a quote. We chose Bucco's because of the price and our comfort level with everyone we dealt with. I had very prompt responses to any inquiry and they arrived when they said they would, and finished on time. They were done start to finish in just 2 days and worked well into the evening. Cleaned everything up when they were done and we were very pleased with the quality of their work. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone else.
