Pittsburgh Generator Installation

The whole process was extremely smooth. RC Watt provided us with a very professional analysis of our power consumption profile, described several different options; and provided a thorough estimate. The installation required a building permit as well as an upgrade to our existing natural gas meter. RC Watt assisted in getting all of these details taken care of with no difficulty. The installation happened as scheduled with a very professional crew. The whole experience was beyond our expectations. I would recommend RC Watt for your standby generator and automatic transfer switch needs without reservation.

Bob and his crew installed a new backup generator in one day. They were punctual, efficient, and professional. Our power was out for only a few hours while they performed the installation. Bob also installed a whole house surge protector. A few days after installation of the surge protector, one of our circuits was not functioning properly. He came to our home on a Sunday to determine the problem and fix it. It was found to be a loose wire from a previous contractor. He showed us the problem and fixed it at no additional cost. We would definitely use his services again.

There was damage to our dryer (caused by subcontractors, not directly by the Behers Electrical crew) related to a whole house generator installed on 1/27/2014 by Behers Electical Services Inc. Bob Beyers responded immediately and offered to repair or replace the dryer, our choice. We chose to have the dryer repaired, and he again responded immediately. In addition to the dryer repair, he installed a badly needed overhead light fixture at no charge for either the fixture of installation. His crew, as usual, were professional and worked quickly and thoroughly during this visit. Bob clearly went above and beyond our expectations with this experiance. Once again, I highly recommend this company for their outstanding service and committment to customer satisfaction!

If you are looking to install a generator on your existing property, no matter the age of the house, look no further. Ours was a particularly difficult job due to the existing layout of the gas and electrical sources. All challenges were accomplished plus more. I have never written an online review before, but I couldn't pass this opportunity up. We just had a generator installed by Robert G. Behrs Electrical Service Inc. Bob was incredible. We had a whole house generator put in and it was worth every penny. They showed up on time and finished on time and to the penny of the estimate. These guys were immaculate. Their attention to detail was amazing and I should say I am quite picky. They even replaced the white stones in the bed around our grill because the old stones got dirty during the line placement. This was not included in the original estimate and they did it at no charge! Then Bob did all the paperwork to register our generator's warranty. Budget Gas Service placed the gas line and he tested the gas lines twice because I thought I smelled gas in the house. He even spray painted the gas line with two coats of paint. When they were done, my garage was swept clean- cleaner than it has ever been. I would recommend Bob Behrs and his crew without any reservation whatsoever.

It went extremely well! This generator was needed for medical reasons, and prompt installation was a neccesity. Bob Behers responded quickly from the first contact through completion of the project, providing information and updates every step of the way. We unexpectedly needed a survery of the property, and Bob found a surveyor at a reasonable cost. The preliminary inside work was also completed promptly. Bob and his crew installed the generator within one very cold single digit temp day! They all were friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They worked efficiantly and were obviously knowledgeble with the installation process. After the generator was installed, Bob thoroughly reviewed the neccesary instructions. We couldn't be happier with this company's work, give them the highest recommendation, and intend to use them in the future for other electrical work in the house. Thanks Bob!!!!

There was a problem on day one with the provider being unable to complete the job in one day due to problems beyond his control. This was communicated to me before they showed up to start working. They showed at the time they said they would. We did a walk about explaining what was going where and how it would be done. At this time I scheduled the time for the completion of the job. Everything from my point of view went fine. They laid down drop cloths from the garage to the basement door so there was no dirt tracked into the house. Any time there was a decision to be made they asked for my opinion. At the end of the day they took pictures of the work and cleaned up any mess. The following day I received a call from the owner explaining he was not happy with some of the work and it would be redone when they came over to finish the installation. Once again they showed up on time and the owner explained why the work needed to be redone to his and my satisfaction. Once everything was hooked, up they tested the system several times. The tests showed a problem with the air conditioner which they resolved by replacing a part in the air conditioner at no cost to me. They cleaned up all the mess before they left and made sure that I knew how the system worked and answered any questions I had. Once again pictures were taken of the work done. Do to the problems with this job the owner offer me a free 1 year maintenance agreement on the generator. This is one contractor who keeps in touch with his customers. He is very responsive to emails and follows up with phone calls. I like the workmanship that was done on the job and the crew was very friendly, courteous and informative.

Eric Eisenfeld (EME Electric) is a super contact. Had Emergency Generator installed. Also had several new electric outlets installed. Eric and his staff were prompt, clean, professional and highly skilled and competent. Do not hesitate to contact EME Electric - they are A+. I am very very satisfied with their work. I now have peace of mind if the power goes out and you can't put a price on that. Thank you!

Fabulous people, and a fabulous product. Bob came to the house on a weekend because we had an emergency medical need. He understood and cared about our need, and recommended the perfect generator and accompanying services (maintenance and alerts). He had everything prepared and immediately gave us the entire cost. He needed only a property survey, electric/gas account info and a deposit to request expedited permits, and our generator was installed 6 days later...and this was right before Christmas! His team did a great job, left everything clean and even performed another small electrical service while they were here, for which we were not charged. Bob gave us personal assurance that we could call anytime day or night if we had a problem, and he is clearly a man of his word. As a postscript: I can't begin to calculate the odds of this happening, but the very first night we needed the generator, there was a power outage in the middle of the night, and after a tense 3 minutes, the generator kicked on as programmed. Bob had offered to return to demo the generator for my husband, but God, apparently, saved him the trouble. Thanks to Bob, the RG Behers team and Generac for the peace of mind we now are enjoying...including last night when the power went out last night, 3 times!

Installation could not have been better. The workmanship is unsurpassed. This is readily apparent upon inspection. The entire crew displayed professionalism and were kind and courteous to my mother who was there during the installation. The entire project was completed in a timely manner, all within one day. Bob takes a personal interest to assure that all of the needs of the customer are met. Could not be more pleased and will be happy to recommend.
