Custom Marble & Granite
I was so frustrated because of a problem with existing granite in my home. I called the people who had installed it for the previous owner and am still waiting (3 days) but I found Custom Marble and Granite on Angie's List and called. Joanna was VERY HELPFUL. She took time to help me think through possible solutions and asked me to email photos of the granite (I was hoping to match it if this piece couldn't be fixed). I did call a few other granite companies, but these folks were BY FAR THE BEST with customer service response! My contractor was able to fix the problem with the existing slab, but when it is time to replace the granite that I don't like in our main bathroom I will definately be calling CUSTOM GRANITE AND MARBLE.

We picked and paid for the granite in February while we were designing our kitchen. Our work was not done until May when the installer was ready and we had to work around several contractors. The kitchen looks fabulous. We had a few small flaws that were not notice don installation and Jeanne set up appointments that were great for our schedule to fix them - the repairs are great and no one could ever tell that there was a small repair done.

Quality Granite Outlet
The seal on our undermount sink was coming loose and the sink was in danger of falling. We called Quality Granite Outlet and they sent someone out within the next couple of days to repair it. The contractor was very professional and took care of the sealing quickly. The price they charged was extremely reasonable. We have not had any issues since. We would definitely work with them again for any kitchen counter needs.

Beautiful showroom, great sales people. Appreciated the prices. Two men came on time - completed the job - and left with the kitchen clean. The soap dispenser wasn't working after install, I stopped at the showroom and they handed me another one. I mentioned there was a joint in my daughter's counter that was unsightly they had installed a year ago, they called her and sent a repair man to fix it. It looks great and no charge. That's customer service.

He bought the shingles and repaired our roof. I would not use anybody but Dave for our work. I have a running list of repairs. As they need to be performed I give Dave a call. He is very dependable and reliable. If there is something that he is not able to do, he is very honest and will let you know what you need. Mostly he can handle almost anything that can go wrong in a home.

The Rock Doctor
The previously used provider had left it cracked and after three tries couldn't do the job. He fixed the crack and sealed it with a sealer. He braced everything and made it safe to prevent future cracking. The granite sealer that he used transformed the counter top and made it very beautiful. He put the sealer over the whole counter top and it made it very shiny. I never have to seal it again. I would definitely recommend him.

Chris is quite experienced with water damage repair. He removed a vanity and toilet in the basement to repair water damage behind the wall, then painted and replaced baseboards; replaced vanity and toilet (installed new works in my toilet too!). In the kitchen, we had a bit of a time installing new LED puck lights under my cabinets (they are there, but messily installed) and dimmable LED downlights in the ceiling. The drywall and subsequent paint job work was impeccable but we had to call in an electrician to figure out the wiring. Chris has also done some small jobs: replaced rotted wood in a threshold in an outside door; repaired a small rotten patch in a bay window, and installed some foam faux "supports" I had purchased under a bay window. He and his team were respectful and friendly but professional. I think he is terrific at drywall and painting and his prices reflect that. And he knows what he is doing when treating water damaged areas. If you just want someone to paint your walls as is, Chris will not be the cheapest. But if you need drywall repair and want the subsequent paint job to be perfect, call Sweet Success.

Avalon Tub & Tile
Aside from a few initial scheduling issues (lateness), that was rectified by Bob, timing and schedules were good and met. The guy who did the grout did an awesome job. The refinished tub looks really good too. There were a few minor areas that needed fixed, but Bob came back quickly and did it. There was an area in the kitchen that was missed (counter refinish), and would be very difficult to fix, as it is around the perimeter of the sink. But, overall, that was the only thing wrong, and not much of an issue. I'm giving an "A" for overall value, workmanship and responsiveness, as it appears that if something comes up wrong or in error, Bob is pretty fast to respond and try to fix it.

We did find them through Angie’s list. The job went very well. They were very professional. They took the time to clean up after each day of work, which I really appreciated. The one I guess, somewhat downside was that, there were couple of little things that we had to call them back for, like to fix a little patching in the wall that was not done most meticulously. However, they came out right away, they fixed it, and it looks perfect. We are very happy with the end product. I would use their services again in the future.

SWEET SUCCESS CONTRACTORS
They did a great job. Their quality is suburb. As they worked around my house they found an issue with the garage door opener hitting the pipe in the ceiling of the garage and they fixed that. Chris, the contractor, was there quite a bit and I believe he physically works with the crew. He was great, very personable and aimed to please. He’s very proud of his work and the quality of his companies work is very good. They were there for about a month. There were some issues that they came back out to fixed and they cleaned up when they were done. I would definitely hire them again.

Super Service Award Recent Review: Tom did a wonderful job from start to finish. I found him to be enthusiastic, professional, courteous, trustworthy and knowledgeable in all facets of home improvement. He always arrived on time and cleaned up at the end of each workday. He made many suggestions on the best use of space. He suggested moving the sink over a little which enabled him to put in a lazy susan in one of my bottom cabinets. This gave me much more space than I had before. He never steered me wrong on any of his suggestions He was also nice enough to take me to Home Depot to pick out various items, and also to the granite factory to pick out my new granite countertop . Tom deals with Amish-built cabinets and they are truly beautiful and affordable. The quality of the cabinets is far superior to anything you can buy at the "box" stores. The workmanship is incredible. I am very happy with all of Tom's work -- the tile work, carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical. He gave me a beautiful kitchen with maximum utilization of space and his price was fair and reasonable. He more than exceeded my expectations and I heartily recommend him.

When we called the flooring contractor, he said, "I can probably come out in a week or two to determine if more work is required." Instead of leaving me in a lurch over the Holidays, Clinton Faust came out personally and fixed the problem. Now, when my family shows up for Christmas, I can show off my beautiful new kitchen.
