Orlando Popcorn Ceiling Repair

Mr Phaneuf, owner of Gracewood Enterprises, came to our house and gave the estimate. It was in line with others we had received. We accepted and work began 2 weeks later. The crew that was sent were courteous and punctual. The popcorn surface was removed. The first sign of trouble came when I questioned the crew as to why all the joints were not being repaired. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" was basically the response. As an uneducated homeowner, I mistakenly accepted this reasoning. The job was completed and paid for. Nine months later I noticed some minor separations at the tape joints. After four more months passed I noticed the separations were becoming more noticeable and numerous. I called Mr Phaneuf to explain the problem. He said he would stop by to take a look in a few days. When I called him back to arrange a time he informed me that he had "changed his mind" about coming. "Sorry, the warranty is up", he added. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. His written response in part read, "There is no guarantee for this kind of work past 90 days". It's hard to believe any contractor would put in writing that his work was only good for 90 days. A lesson learned. There are so many reputable hard working contractors out there, especially in this challenging economy. Look a little harder and bypass Al Phaneuf and Gracewood Enterprises.

It went very well. It was a prompt and professional job and I'm very pleased with the work that was done.

We are remodeling our kitchen, and had a pesky soffit and popcorn ceiling we wanted removed. We called A.P.C. and discussed what we wanted done to the kitchen, Andre stopped by the house with a contract, he explained to us the process and a time frame. The price he quoted us, we felt was reasonable. He arrived at the time he said he would be at the house. Andre also gave us a few suggestions for the kitchen lighting, which we thought was great. He cleaned up after himself each and every evening. Not like the electrician, we hired which left the kitchen a mess. Andre, also went above and beyond and fixed a hole in the wall which the electrician left behind without us asking him to do so. thank you Andre for that. Andre is professional and respectful. Our overall experience with this first time company is thumbs up, we are 110% satisfied with the work he provided us. We will definitely, recommend him on over to friends in need of a handyman. thank you A.P.C.

Rudolf, the German owner of Holden Handymen Inc. and a very friendly person, came to the estimate appointment in time. I got a good rate on the work, considered what was included. When they started the work, Rudolf and his helper started every workday at 9 am. They covered the floor with plastic, took good care of all my new furniture. Work was absolutely professional and the result was more than what I expected. Rudolf and his helper made the work a nice experience. It was a pleasure working with such a nice craftsman. I never had to pay any upfront cost, Rudolf said: "You pay on the end of the project and only "when you are completely satisfied". Holden Handymen Inc. has only prescribed workers employed (very important to my security) He is properly licensed and ensured and has very good references. When I am ready to paint the exterior of my house I will definitely call Rudolf.

Excellent! Mike Patterson was terrific. The areas that needed attention are so well blended that you cannot tell there was ever a repair needed. Handyman Connection pays attention to detail. We were advised that for our initial appointment Mr. Patterson was running late thirty minutes prior to our appointment time! Plus we were given a time of when he would be at our home. Mr. Patterson contacted us the day prior to the start of the job to inform us of his arrival time and actually arrived thirty minutes ahead of time. He is professional, courteous and considerate, willing to answer any questions we had whether it related to the job at hand or anything else in our home.

J R and his son were amazing. I needed a portion of my popcorn ceiling and wall repaired due to water damage. They were professional, courteous, and did an amazing job. The popcorn matches the rest of the ceiling perfectly, you'd never know any work was done and I was told by two other companies that was not possible. The wall was patched, painted, and looks great as well. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Three techs showed up to do the work. It didn’t go very well. They worked one day. They were sloppy and there was water all over my furniture. I wasn’t pleased and let them go.

Love this company! From beginning to end it was wonderful customer service and Jeff V. Is talented, meticulous, professional, and does a great job. We’d have them back to do any projects around the house.

Dave is a very skilled, detailed-oriented and dependable Handyman. We quickly learn to trust him and let him drive the project. I wanted to remove a hallway closet and replace it with a built-in bookshelf, remove popcorn ceiling and replace it with knock-down look; my Wife also wanted to give the kitchen a face lift with a new countertop, backsplash and new appliances. Dave came on time on the day of our appointment and advised us on the best way to move forward with the project. He is very respectful and courteous. He is busy but he will not jump from job to job. Once he starts your project, he will not jump to another one until he is done with yours. we patiently waited for him and his was time well spent; The project went like a breeze. Dave considers our inputs seriously and takes the time to explain the impact of each scenario. He is not the cheapest handyman on the block and you are not going to break the bank. I find his pricing very reasonable. His professionalism warrants every dollar. I would recommend Dave to anyone who wants a job well done in a reasonable time.
