The roofers showed up as scheduled on the date and time promised. The roofing crew worked all day (12 hrs) and were as quiet as could be for reroofing a house. There was no loud music playing, loud language or shouting. The job took 4 days and at the end of each day they went around and cleaned up the job site and used magnets to clean up nails. We are very pleased with our new roof and have even gotten compliments from our neighbors. Would definitely recommend this company

They arrived on schedule. Roofers worked continuously and very hard, only taking a lunch break, All work was done professionally and to my complete satisfaction. My only complaint is that they left some roofing nails around the property, one of which punctured a tire sidewall so it had to be replaced. I called to report this and was promptly sent a check to replace the tire. The roofers who did the job were hispanic fellows who were extremely skilled and I've never seen anybody work as hard as they did

Their estimator arrived promptly on the date and at the time specified and presented the estimate in professional manner.. He was affable, easy to converse with, and left a very favorable impression. The estimate was acceptable and the job was awarded to Total Home. The next contact was with their Production Manger, who scheduled the job and once the job began was the daily contact. He, too, performed his service efficiently keeping me informed of what problem they were uncovering and the actions to be taken. his crew worked diligently, appeared to be well experienced in what they did, and cleaned up the site at the end of each work day. The job required 39 squares and four days for completion. We are in our dry season and it maybe sometime before the roof is put to the test, however, I anticipate no problems and if a problem were to occur, I have every reason to expect that Total Home will stand behind its guarantee

My boyfriend hired this company because they were on Homeadvisor and Angie's list and they were lowest bidder and able to start right away. The first thing that happened (which should have been a clue) was the dumpster. It was like right off the set of Mash. Total eyesore! Once the project started there was very little or no supervision and one of the workers did not speak English. The other one quit after a few days. There were no more than 2 men on the roof at any time. Job went on for almost 2 weeks. When completed we noticed that the gutters all sagged, were bent out of shape, and not properly attached. Furthermore on the east side of roof there was an open space left on lower portion of valley. The Armadillo VP sent a man to address these issues. He did the best he could but eventually new gutters will be needed to restore former look of the home. They left holes in the gutters we had to fill. Now 2 weeks later there are very large water spots in 2 rooms and after notifying Armadillo they refuse to fix issues claiming that money is owed. We paid the contracted price at completion of project 9/22/16. There were extra charges we did not pay them due to not being notified ahead of time. Also they did not clean up the yard and twice we had the misfortune of stepping on rusty nails requiring a tetanus shot. All in all this has been a nightmare. Do not use this roofing company

Hurricane Irma tore off much of my roof on 9-10-2018, but it was quite a few months before insurance agreed to pay for replacement. Received 8 or 9 estimates in September and October and ultimately chose Total Home Roofing to do the work. This was not the least expensive bid, nor the most expensive, but their reputation, contract terms (credit cards, no up-front deposit) and 10 year workmanship warranty sold me. Once insurance was finally approved in March, waiting another 5 months for work to be scheduled and completed was frustrating, but expected. While there were a few bumps along the way once installation began, company management worked quickly to resolve each and every issue in a timely manner. The result was my total satisfaction with a beautiful new roof

The workman replaced missing shingles, including cap shingles that were not installed with the right size nail, and cemented down shingles that had been wind-lifted due to improper installation by a different contractor. I called Total Home Roofing for a free estimate on my roof. I had an 11:00 appointment with Mike Hawkins. He actually called me ahead of time and was able to see me earlier. Advantage Roofing (Tom) obtained roofing permit and provided us with proof of insurance. Tom provided and we discussed in detail what was to be done, We never felt rushed and Tom and his crew throughout the project were polite, professional, and cleaned up the area daily. We took lots of pictures and could not believe how bad our old roof was. The Advantage Roofing crew replaced a lot of bad wood. At the finish of the project, Tom went over all that was done, provided us with a notice that no lien was placed on the house, and a provided a detailed bill. We waited to write a comment until the new roof had experienced several strong rain storms. We are extremely happy to report no leaks. United Roofing was referred to me in the fall of 2018. My roof was damaged in a microburst that year and required total replacement. I had already received funds from my insurance company and was signed up to have the work done by another company who couldn't get there act together. I fired them and went with United and don't regret it for a single moment! Diego the owner personally handled my inspection and estimate. The entire team was knowledgeable and professional from the workers all the way to the ladies in the office! Diego advised me to buy a quality roofing shingle and his team did an amazing job! They left the job site clean every day, took pictures of some damaged roof decking to show me rather than just telling me. I felt very confident in their skills and they were very honest during every step of the way. I ended up having to sue my homeowner's insurance company and the staff of United Roofing was with me every step of the way. The office manager helped me gather the documents I needed and communicated with my attorney as needed and expeditiously. Fast forward to July 2022, I am now adding on an addition, adding on a front porch and extending my rear lanai roof. I obtained several estimates from different companies but it was a struggle to do so. One company said they wouldn't do the work unless I replaced my less than 4 year old roof. Two said the job was "too small" for them. One hit me at $10K for a 616 SF addition and the small front porch and small porch extension. The last two companies jerked me around and never even gave me an estimate. United Roofing came in at $5600. I'm in the habit of obtaining multiple estimates, the experience obtaining estimates this time around was really eye opening. It solidified my opinion that Diego and his team at United Roofing will be my roofers for life!
