We had an old style keypad and wanted to upgrade to a touchpad with zwave and the ability to moniter and activate over the internet. Our house is fully wired for security including motion sensors, alarms, and smoke detectors. I wanted the ability to add our detached shop wirelesly. I knew Honeywell made several touchpads that would work with our existing system and be able to be added to wirelesly (we had other companies give us prices with the honeywell but they were high. The salesman that came out told us Pro 1 did not offer the honeywell keypad but show us another system that he said would work with our wiring and the internet and had zwave and could be expanded. However it was not a touchpad - something my wife really wanted because it is more user friendly but it was 1/3 the price so we decided to go with it. When the install tech arrived he looked at what we had

They arrived early and were very kind and courteous and professional. Did a wonderful job and spent extra time since my house ended up having twice the number of locks they expected. Also adjusted multiple locks as some of them were not catching properly. All the keys and locks work great. I would definitely recommend them and would call them again if needed.

GlobeLink Security $12.99 Alarm Monitoring

We had monitoring under contract for ten months and are now moving to a different state so we are disconnecting service. I liked the price but the customer service was awful. They got my billing wrong twice and it took over two weeks and multiple calls and emails to get a tech to come out and take down my gsm. Also, we had multiple triggered alarms and no one ever called to verify or acknowledge that it was triggered. Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of having a monitored alarm system? To be quite frank, I'm not sure I even felt safe with the knowledge that even if someone broke in they would do anything. I should have done more research and found a more competent company. On the plus side, they do have good rates and I was able to pay $99 at the beginning of my contract in order to not have to pay for two years of service knowing we may be relocated.

Super nice, reliable, arrived on time and did a great job. I needed keypad locks because I can lose keys in a week or less. He not only installed them, but when there was a problem programming one, he helped me with that too. He offered to take the safe (a big old heavy fire safe) into the garage to drill it, so he wouldn't get metal filings in my carpet. He swept up after himself very carefully and took out the trash.

Garage Doors By Ryan
5.0
My brother called Ryan on Monday afternoon, and they made an appointment the next day between 4:00 and 5:00 to fix the garage door opener. They actually made it about 1:00. Fixed both problems and the door works great now. Mother had a $15 off coupon from the ATand T Yellow Pages, and he took the $15 off and told her to keep it just in case she needed to use it again. Total cost was $40. My mom and dad are both 86 years old, and desperately needed that door fixed. We really appreciate such good, prompt service at a reasonable price. I'll be calling them for my garage door needs in the future.

GlobeLink Security $12.99 Alarm Monitoring

We have used Globelink for the past 5 years and moved service twice to new homes. In the industry, alarm contracts are bundled together and sold like commodities. Since these type of contracts all get the same quality of service from a third party, I try to find the most budget friendly provider. This monitoring service is on par with other services. Customer service is great. The owner is very knowledgeable of current security trends and technology. I've been very happy with the service.

I think everything went very well. The installers taught my wife and I how to operate the alarm, and went over other special features. We were very pleased with the work and the time it took to do the work.

Well, it should have been a clue when I first got it installed. The earliest they could install it was 3wks form the time they came and looked at my home (it was the busy season--always is). It has been working good until it stopped 2 days ago. I called in the evening (around 7pm) when I first realized it wasn't working and was told they could not get out for 1 week, but told me to call back during business hours the next day (8am-5pm) and they may be able to do something sooner. I called around 8:30am and talked with a couple different people including the manager and I was told there was nothing more they could do than make me wait the week (its the busy season again), but they will put me on a and quot;reserve listand quot; though just in case someone cancels. On the plus side for them, when the system was installed, they were professional, showing up when they said they would (even thought the soonest it could be was 3wks). They installed the system without any issues and they have called promptly during the 2 false alarms I have had since. They did not respond to my last false alarm and that was when I discovered the cellular part of the alarm was down. Here's my issue. From what I could gather by talking with them, a cellular card failed in the device. After talking to them it sounds like they put an older version in, when they are now using a different(faster) version. I only had my system installed 4mo ago, so I figure they cut a corner there knowingly putting old, outdate and phased out hardware in my system. My take home from this is: 1) They used to be very good and very prompt with service, but they have grown and have merged with or were bought by ASG... If you want prompt service, call other companies to see how quickly they can get you installed before just going with TNT out of old habit like I did when I moved. 2) If you do go with TNT, there fancy newest device is not necessarily reliable. I liked the old systems we had because they just worked. If you have a good older system, really think about it before you upgrade because you are upgrading to a computer which has technical failures and has been proven to me now that it is glitchy. 3) If you do go with TNT and their new fancy device, then make sure they install newer (ATand T or Verizon) cards in them, not the older (T-Mobile) card.

So far, it has been okay. Until recently I hadn?t had any problems. This week I did have a problem of it not arming, de-arming and a few other things. I armed the alarm via an app, then I got a call from their monitoring company saying that they alarm was going off. Through my app, I did not receive a text or email with an alert identifying that a door or something was entered. I found out my son was at home and he opened the door, and when he opened the door, the base station & the external siren that I paid for was not going off at all. But, it sent a signal that the alarm had been triggered, because it had been triggered. But, there was nothing audibly was going off at the house. So, it caused a huge confusion and kind of a panic factor on my end and I said dispatch the police, because at the time, I did not know my son was home. He would have de-armed it if he would have heard it. You would have heard the keypad going beep, beep, meaning it needs the code and it didn?t do that. After the amount of time, it did not siren. We eventually got it worked out. I called them, got ahold of them, we did a series of tests, a few things here and there and got it up and running like it should. The base station is off the cellular towers that T-Mobile has. They mentioned that they also have a base station for Version. I said I would prefer Version, I am a Version cell phone customer. So, they are sending me out a new base station that is Version compatible. They also credited my account for 2 months. I thought that was cool! So, on one hand I did have a hiccup or problem, we were able to work it out. Luckily nobody did break in. The other factor I was concerned with, was a fine or fee from the city and they said that it was not a problem. Meaning that they would take care of it, if I should get anything in the mail.

Recent Review: It's working out fine. I had some problem with it to begin with. When they sent the pieces to me they had already batteries on them. I had to two keypad batteries and one keypad died within a few days when I set it up. The other keypad batteries died the following week but they did send me some new batteries to replace batteries. Anyhow, I had no problem with it.
