Reviews in Oklahoma City for HVAC Repair

ARP Heating & Air
5.0
Summary: All in all, I was extremely pleased. He arrived quickly, was reasonably prices, was extremely professional, and he took the time to share his knowledge. For those who prefer more details, read on..... Let's start with responsiveness: I called ARP at noon, the same time that I called two other providers on Angie's list. Charlie returned my call within minutes, the provider I called returned my call four hours later, and as of the time of this writing, the third still hasn't called me back. Charlie explained to me that he was already on a job and wouldn't be available until late afternoon or early evening, but that he would make the trip down here when he was done and work me in since my A/C was non-functional. Professionalism: I asked him to call before he left, which he did, at about 5:30pm. It was a 20 minute drive for him to get to my house, and my wife teaches from home in the evenings, so I asked him to call me on my cell when he arrived instead of ringing the doorbell. You would be shocked at how many times I've asked for this simple courtesy and had providers forget, but not Charlie. He called me exactly 25 minutes later, from my driveway, so I was able to meet him without interrupting my wife's lesson, which for me, is a huge deal. The rest: He did a quick inspection of my HVAC, found that it was low on Freon, explained to me some known issues with the brand my builder used (big surprise, there, right?), and then he explained to me the most likely causes of the apparent leak and my options. At no point did I ever feel pressured into making a decision one way or the other. I opted for a "middle path" solution, so he applied a leak sealant and added the necessary Freon amount (3 lbs). I've seen plenty of quotes for Freon at $50 per pound, but he only charged me $40. The service fee was in-line with competitors, and I don't know if I got a good deal on the sealant or not, but I never felt like he was trying to up-sell me, so I was happy with it. Going beyond: Charlie had already fixed my main problem, but he took the extra time to go up and inspect my ducts, at no extra charge. He immediately found two minor leaks and sealed them for me, explaining the whole while what he was doing and why and how I could know what to look for in the future. Based on what we found, he recommended that I use OG&E's HEEP program next spring where I could get him (or anyone else, but you can bet I'll be requesting him) to thoroughly inspect and fix all duct leaks for free -- he didn't have to tell me about that program, and he probably could have made more money buy selling me his services directly, so I really appreciated that.

Called him up on Friday night, he said he would come out Saturday morning. He arrived on time, did the work quickly, was friendly, competent, fast. Price seemed reasonable. What more could you want? Would definitely use them again.

These guys came out on a Sunday to work on our A/C in the midst of the late July heat wave. They were very responsive andexplained clearly what was wrong. Pricing seemed good, but since it was a Sunday at 115 degrees I didn't really shop around. At the end of the day, a very good experience.

Great. Mike explained problem and showed me where line was clogged. Also discussed options for remedying continual problems with system due to under-capacity of unit/system for our size home (mentioned by at least 4 HVAC repair companies). HVAC Solutions had financing offered through a bank in Tulsa with excellent financing rates to keep the interest rate down while we make needed improvements in our HVAC system in the future.

Jason came out to the house on very short notice (i.e. just a couple hours) after we contacted him. He had to inspect a very old furnace, and compressor that was at the end of it's life, and a really weird plumbing situation in one of our bathrooms. He gave us his feedback on what work he thought was needed and a quote on how much he would be able to do the work for. He was courteous, kind, and stayed as long as we needed to make sure he answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend Jason for HVAC repairs and replacements as well as a straight-forward evaluation of any issues you may be experiencing.

SECOND OPINION PLUMBING HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

They were at my house 3 different times to fix AC each time they said it was fixed and each time I had to call back to have them come out again because it was still broke. The 4th time the didn't even make it to my house cause they said after I waited all day for them that it would be two days before they could get out to look at it again. Told them to not come back and I would have some that had some decent customer service come fix it for me. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
