Recent Review: Excellent employees - friendly, efficient, and capable. Responded quickly, but did not stay completely abreast of the situation. Lag time of 10 days between initial installation and completion. To be fair, work was done in early fall, probably at the height of their busy season.

Recent Review: Mike showed up when he said he would, responded with a fair estimate, and came out and did the work in a professional way. Shortly after installation one of the units failed due to a loose piece of solder falling off and clogging a valve in the heat exchange unit, a one in a thousand type of problem. Mike came the next day with a brand new heat exchanger (not just the valve, but the whole exchanger) to perform the warranty repair.

Recent Review: Same day response to request for quote. Person who did the quote did the work, quote was competitive. Old unit broke down during a wicked heat wave. He juggled his calender to be available right away. Dealt fairly with the surprises (ie needed to run a new thermostat wire which he did at no extra cost, I patched wall where old one was). Final price was quoted price (note, his price included tax, many quotes do not). Excellent workmanship and cleanup. Six months later unit glitched entering heating season, he fixed it right away. I recommend this contractor.

Recent Review: Not only did Suffolk deliver the lowest price, they did an excellent job. I dealt with Dan whom you can tell runs the company. The crew, led by Dan, showed up on time. They did their best to keep the house clean. They cleaned up the worksite and took all packing materials away. Suffolk set up financing for me through Synchrony Bank. Dan's office assistant was so diligent and helpful. The job was completed as scheduled, no delays.

Recent Review: We took advantage of the Angie's List special, where you could have Service Professionals come and service your AC or Furnace/Boiler for $65. We bought two and had them do both, which they did together the day they came. Service Professionals called me within hours of receiving my email to request a service date, and they were able to provide one within a week of my call. They called 20 minutes before our tech arrived to let us know when he was close, and he arrived well within the window we were given. Our tech (Naverick) was lovely. Great personality, very knowledgeable, and very attentive to keeping your home clean while he did his work. Always put the boot covers on before he entered the house and even apologized when he came down from our dusty attic for any dust he brought with him (which certainly wasn't necessary, but he obviously took pride in his work!)... He let us tag along and observe everything he did, since we just moved in in the Fall, and are still figuring out what we have, how it all works, and how much life they have left in them. He showed us where problem areas were located with the special camera feed he had, explained the condition our units were in (as best he could since we have no way of knowing exactly how old our boiler and AC units are) and what options we could look into in the future which are more energy efficient. He cleaned the units up as best he could, given their age, and took care when he put things back together. He also let us know about his company's optional annual service plan, but at no point was there a hard sell for services or equipment. He gave us a lot of good information so we can make an informed decision in the future when we need to update/upgrade. Overall, we came away feeling more informed about what we have and feeling better knowing that all the units had received some apparently 'overdue' attention...We would certainly call them again!

Recent Review: Another company (Gold Medal) had previously come to do a tune-up on my old furnace then tried to sell me a new furnace on the grounds that the heat exchanger was deteriorating and was in danger of leaking carbon monoxide. Instead, I called Air Group who did a more thorough job taking apart, tuning and cleaning the unit. They then did more extensive testing of the heat exchanger and CO levels. They assured me that the old furnace was good for a few more years, and it?s now happily heating away. After my experience with the other company, it was a relief to deal with the honest, competent and reliable people at Air Group.

Recent Review: I realized that our "heat exchange" unit was not working properly. I called Gallettair. They have been our service provider for 15 years. They came, we talked, and they replaced the entire system. They were real pros. They were polite, neat, and The BEST!!!

Recent Review: Scott arrived on time and was very professional. He did a very thorough job cleaning our furnace. He replaced the nozzle, filter and pump strainer, made all the necessary adjustments and cleaned the heat exchanger, ducts and flu pipe. I would highly recommend and will use again!

Recent Review: I woke up one morning last week to discover there was no heat in my house. After some investigation I determined that the pilot light in my gas furnace was not staying lit, for some reason. I'd just moved into this house a few months ago, and it's my first experience with both a gas furnace and forced-air heating (my previous house had oil heat with radiators, and prior to that I'd been renting). I'd noticed some trucks from various HVAC companies, but wasn't sure who to call -- and I wanted to call someone I could trust since I'd never dealt with this situation before. I logged on to Angie's List to check out the reviews, and the reports about Bill Leary convinced me to give them a shot. A technician came over that afternoon, and I felt at ease with him right away. He was extraordinarily helpful and professional, and answered all of my newbie questions patiently and thoroughly. (He also went out of his way to give me some basic info about my central AC system as well.) As it turned out there was a leak in the heat exchanger of the 22-year-old furnace, so I had to get a new one. The technician walked me through the various options that were available, and the installation was scheduled for the next day. The installers arrived promptly at 8am the next morning to begin removing the old furnace and installing the new one. Again, they were very professional and knowledgeable and the installation took place without a hitch. In addition they thoroughly cleaned up after the removal/installation, leaving no trace of the work that had been happening throughout the day. They also took the time to explain some differences in the new furnace and answer any questions I had. At the end of the day I was very happy that I'd chosen Bill Leary for this job, and I will continue to use them for maintenance on my new furnace as well as the existing central air system.
