New York Tristate Area Invisible Dog Fence Installation

We had installed an invisible fence through another dealer, but did not use their training service because it was extremely expensive. Tried to train the dogs on our own, but weather, construction, and other factors impeded our efforts. A year later, the dogs still didn't get it. For an extremely reasonable fee, Jason took over and within 2 weeks the dogs were happily watching the world go by. They spend half the day outdoors now, and I have my life back.

We tried to use an Invisible Fence to keep our two-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer and three-year-old Pit Mix in our yard. It didn't work--not even a little bit. When we told Pet Playgrounds this, they were more than accommodating--especially when we stressed that the Pointer is a TSA Explosive K9 and we CAN'T have him getting loose. Victor and his employees (and his adorable 10-year-old Golden) showed up at our house early to install our fence. So far, the dogs have LOVED LOVED LOVED having their own personal dog park in our backyard. The MAX Strength was definitely the way to go as both of our dogs are chewers and Houdinis. They can't break through the fence. They can't chew through it. They can't jump it. They're totally safe and confined to the backyard. It's fantastic. I'd highly recommend Pet Playgrounds to anyone interested in keeping their dogs in their yard. It's way less expensive than a traditional fence and it's far more reliable than an electric fence.

Do not use this company if you love your pups! The system was faulty from day one. It wasnt until one of my 3 dogs was "correctrd" for at least 20 seconds IN MY HOUSE! she was yelping and crying it took me a minute to figure out what was wrong..Her collar went off for no reason and continued to correct her until I could get my hand between her and the collar (then I was being corrected) until I finally got it off of her. Then the collar continued for another 15 to 20 seconds after removed. This was a concern of mine and I was reassured while handing over the $3000 cash that this would never happen with their system. They are holding me hostage now, refusing to give me my money back after only having the faulty system about 2 months. The owner says "he has to have a year to correct the issues" well I am never putting those collars on my dogs again. So I will continue to review this company and warn all you dog owners to not use this company if you love your dogs.

I recently moved and needed an electric dog fence in a big hurry. Kevin went above and beyond the call of duty. Went to my old residence to pick up the equipment and then installed in my new yard. His pricing is the best around. Only needed the wire to be installed and I received a quote of $699 from The Canine Company, $600 from Freedom Fence and $485 from Kevin. Not only was his pricing great, his sense of urgency and willingness to fit me in with very short notice was fantastic. Super responsive, very professional. I recommend him without reservation.

Chris Arndt gives great service. We have had our fence for nearly 4 years now!!!! It is great! Gives the dogs...and us ...freedom! No walking animals in rain or snow! And they can get plenty of exercise! And they are safe from traffic in the confines of our yard. Chris walks you thru the training process. Most recently, Chris tested one of our receivers to make sure it was still working properly. There was no charge for this. I think there were costs if repair was needed. And I recently ordered replacement collars which showed up within a few days.

Great service and great product at a very reasonable prices. I have a huge yard and after installing the fence last year Shawn spent a lot of time showing me how to train the dogs until I felt comfortable, which was great. They also came back this year to move one of the lines upon my request as efficiently as last year. On time and professional without charging an arm and a leg. The store itself is great too, has a lot of things and everyone is very knowledgeable.

It's a lifetime guarantee. There was an issue with the lightning strike and they came back and they replaced it for free. It's a lifetime guarantee and that's one of the reasons why I went with them. It's A plus across. We were worried about our dog running across the street because there's a little boy who lives on the corner that my dog love but now that we put the system in, it's phenomenal. It does a great job of providing safety and security to her and she's going around the entire property that's being protected by this invisible fence and it really turned out to be a wonderful fence. It gives the dog correction when she gets too close to it. We like it. It has a battery backup too so if there is a power surge, it works with a battery. The batteries last 6 months and we've only replaced the batteries once.

Hall Kissler, the owner/manager did an excellent sales pitch by phone, but never came out to see the property, sent out 2 of the most inept guys to install the invisible fence who never explained the fence to us, and did not spend more than 3 minutes training my dog. When we had repeated problems with the fence (the dog kept running away) they eventually sent someone out (a nice guy) who told us that the fence had not been installed according to our specifications (it was zapping our poor puppy in areas he was supposedly allowed to be in, and then nothing was happening in the areas where he was not supposed to go). Also the collar was faulty. They then charged us for the service call!

Initially I was going to install the invisible fence system myself to save cost. However, after reaching out and speaking with Hal, the owner at Freedom Fence, I was convinced on letting his team of professionals execute the installation and provide training for my dog...and WOW..I am happy I spent the couple extra bucks for his service. Hal and his team were flexible with the initial installation date, one time, professional, courteous and worked with me on installation, even changing, without hesitation, the initial fence perimeter layout after their original install to my liking. Overall and I am 100% satisfied with the Freedom Fence installation and service, and I would recommend anyone, looking for a reliable, trustworthy, professional pet fence installation to call Freedom Fence without hesitation. I did a lot of homework on price, service and installation prior to hiring Hal and the Freedom Fence team, and hands down his price and service are unbeatable! Great job...Happy customer, happy dog! Fantastic - they were prompt, great with my dog, very fast in installing the fence, and helped me train my dog quickly. They've also followed up to make sure everything is still working for us.

Jason didn't actually install the fence - I had used another company, whose training packages were extremely expensive. I tried to train them myself, but a year after installation, the dogs still didn't get it. Jason was recommended by a neighbor - he came the day after I called and led the dogs through their paces. Within a month I was finally able to open the door and let them out without fear that they would bolt. When the more peripatetic of the two dogs took off after a deer a month ago, Jason came over right away to reinforce the training. He's a very nice guy with a strong sense of responsibility.

They came out and installed the fence and provided the collars. They did a training for my dogs. I respected the guy who did the fence as a dog person. I've purchased a unit that goes in the kitchen to keep the dogs out of the kitchen, and have had them come out and service it.
