Carlos did an excellent job doing very complicated Millwork for our home. He worked very patiently and was extremely accommodative of our modification requests. He is kind, extremely skillful, timely, and a true pleasure to work with. He comes when he says he will be coming and comes on time. He made our home look beautiful and is marveled by our friends and family. We are in the process of adding a 20x14 addition to our home and Carlos will do our Millwork. Remberto's work was impeccable. I have tough walls (plaster over concrete) and different levels at floor transitions. All of the trim installed looks great and was caulked and painted to perfection. I was not able to be there while he was working, so I left him keys to get in and out as necessary during the day. I found him completely trustworthy and everything was clean and dust free when I came home from work at the end of the day. He performed the service in a shorter amount of time than originally promised (2 days as opposed to three). My experience with Hercules and Remberto was great and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future

Stefan Spadaro is an old world craftsman that is still young. Kudos to his dad for teaching him ways that you simply can’t find anymore. His attention to detail goes above and beyond.

I met with a number of painting companies and Jay was hands down the most attentive and involved during our first walk thru going over what we wanted. He came back on a few occasions to make sure he understood exactly what colors should go where. Upon starting, jay and his team were on time and extremely efficient. The work was excellent, and jay came back personally to see what touch ups were needed. After completion, he agreed to send his guy back (after our movers moved our stuff) to retouch the scratches at No charge I cannot say enough good things about my experience with J&S, from Jay himself, to the work, all the way to the receptionist Pam who was a pleasure to deal with. Not to mention, despite the excellent service , his price was super competitive and he honored Angie's List discounts without me even mentioning. Anyone looking for painters, I give J&S my highest recommendation.

Amazing work from start to finish. I have hired Gikas before and will continue to hire them again and again. The entire team is incredibly professional and responsive. Alex has always been our foreman on the job, and he's great: can text and call and always get an immediate response, very professional and easy to interface with. Mike was the master carpenter on the job: he's an artist - truly beautiful work with the wainscoting, door and trim molding, staircase refinishing, painting, drywalling, etc. Would recommend the entire team without hesitation.

This is our second time using HM Construction. First time we used them was to replaced our old deck with new composite decking and railing in which they did an amazing job! For our second project with the company we need old trim replaced on our home. The price was extremely fair and they completed the job thoroughly and well. The crew was always very polite and cleaned up all the garbage and dust from the job. We will most definitely use Helio and his team for future projects.

Rob did quite a few jobs for us. He was very responsive and showed up when he said he would. He and his crew did a great job and were very pleasant and professional. Would highly recommend!!!

I originally asked George to replace 10 windows, outside and inside window trim, and remove the old siding. When George went to replace the garage window, he found water damage and had to rebuild almost the entire wall. He re-framed all the new windows, replaced all the interior trim, repainted two rooms, removed all the siding, removed all the gutters, and put up new PVC outside trim and fascia boards. George is meticulous, extremely detailed, thorough and a perfectionist. The house looks brand new and I have to thank George for it.

We had used Monks for interior and exterior painting many years ago and they were great. We requested that they power wash and seal our ipe wood deck and also to stain one fence gate. We requested a clear stain. Travis Marion said we also needed the trim around the door replaced. He gave us itemized quotations for the work and assured us that they would use a clear stain that would not change the grayish color of the wood. The carpentry and painting of the trim and staining of the gate went fine. The gentleman that came to stain the gate showed me a sample by applying it with a cloth. This showed some reddish color, but not too much. I, mistakenly told him to go ahead. They then applied the seal/coat heavily with a brush totally changing the color of the deck so that it now looks like redwood, instead of the much higher quality ipe. I am very disappointed in the result. In addition, Travis was unresponsive to calls requesting a receipt and the workers showed up a day later than he said they would. Other than telling the worker that applied the stain, I did not contact Monks to complain, as I'm sure there is nothing they can do about it now that it's done. I just have to wait a few years for it to wear off.
