They were quick to come out. 2 men to fix an old garbage disposal. They explained the pros and cons of trying to fix the old one vs. replacing it. In the end, I decided to replace it. They started fixing the garbage disposal and saw that there was something wrong with the pipe that feeds to the dishwasher. They fixed that free of charge. In a little over an hour, I had a new garbage disposal and a new connection to my dishwasher. I would definitely call on them again.

They charged me $685/hour! Here are the details. I used them a few times. The last time I did not ask the price, assuming they would charge a fair price. They installed a kitchen garbage disposal that I supplied, so all they charged for was labor. They charged $515 for 45 minutest of work. That comes to $685/hour. On another job they did for me they gave a low price for the work but said if there was anything extra do do they would charge at some ridiculously high rate. Sure enough, there was extra to do. So perhaps I should have seen it coming. On the positive side, they came quickly and did the work well.

Recent Review: The drain cover of our garbage disposal unit had become stuck in the engaged position and wouldn't budge. We called Frank Alvarez and they came the same day in the afternoon. Within 10 minutes they had dislodged the drain cover. They were prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. We appreciated that they did not charge us for unnecessary work.
Recent Review: This was my 1st experience with Angies List. I will share with you I couldn't have been more satisfied. I called Mike at Navasink Plumbing and Heating based on his reviews. I am just adding to the positive feedback. I called him in the AM, and he said he was booked but would come by in the early evening that same day if it was ok with me. He arrived at my house when he said. He didn't leave until the installation was done correctly. ( He even took a ride to a hardware store becuase i piece was missing out of the box) Coming from someone in the contracting industry, I couldn't have picked a better contractor. His pricing was more the reasonable. His workmanship was excellant.
