My first impression of Victor was "Oh tres chic!". He's a very stylish handyman :) More importantly, Victor and Igor were responsive, punctual, professional and efficient. They took care of everything I had on my list very quickly. This Angie's List Deal was a excellent purchase and I would definitely use Build Now NYC again.

I contacted C & M Restoration after googling cabinet refinishing . I met with the owner Craig and felt very comfortable with him. i actually joined Angie's List to obtain reviews for them. They were not listed, however I did contact one of many references he provided. The reference could not stop raving about their work, and so I decided to book them. All work was done on time, exactly as discussed, and Craig's only goal was to make us happy with our kitchen. We saved so much $ tthan if we had refaced our cabinets or replaced completely. I highly recommend C & M Restoration, all home projects should be this easy!!

Purchased a 75 dollar special. My expectations were not high given the low price but they were vastly exceeded. Called that they were running late prior to coming.Two handyman came. They were both courteous and efficient; in fact so efficient that they were done with everything in one hour. I would definitely use them again

Frank was outstanding. He and his team did an A+ job installing the tiles, etc. His communication before, during and after the job were punctual, clear and decisive. This job was arranged for our mother in her house she would be selling. I spoke with Frank via email, text message and phone. There was only one small issue that we learned about when the carpet installers were working after Frank had finished (not all of the nails and staples were removed from the wood beneath - the carpet installers had to take extra time to prepare the area properly for the installation. Ultimately even though that was a bit of a surprise, it was relatively minor. All in all, Frank's work and professionalism was evident from beginning to end. I would be happy to work with him again at any time.

Jo Galgano, our HD kitchen designer was without a doubt indispensable in the planning and implementing of nearly all of our kitchen project. He gave it legs when our ideas were vague and shaky. He designed and fit every piece of numerous cabinets and appliances neatly and exactly into place. He had the idea and designed a 3' x 2' and 3' high soffet storage area as an extension to a flat cornered-in wall under which our refrigerator fits perfectly. Without Jo and and the expertise of Whitestone Contracting I would have been much more nervous than I was and the final result was one that my wife and I are extremely satisfied and happy with. No...make that exhilarated! Jo also arranged excellent financing that included numerous discounts that saved us several thousand dollars! Also kudos to the credit / financing office personnel at Hamilton Avenue that were extremely courteous and efficient. And finally HD's exchange and / or return policy is without exception a no hassle exercise when needed. This was so important when fitting so many pieces in a huge puzzle and our complete kitchen gut was. Thank you Jo, staff and HD at Hamilton Avenue!!!!

Communication with the team was very good. Some of the finish work was a bit rough. Cabinet hardware was installed poorly and drywall joint compound was not sanded well. I think the tile installer was working outside his area of expertise on these projects. Some parts were slow to come in and the workers on site were not always fully informed about the status of all aspects of the project. The electrical subcontractor was great. The countertop sub was also good. I will get estimates from this company for future work, because the work was generally of good, if not great, quality and the price was reasonable.

Brad Andersen performed a miracle. He was honest and trustworthy, prompt and reliable. He performed most work himself with a composed cheerful attitude. All work was done in a high quality and timely fashion. He showed up every day at the time he said he would. Highly recommended.

Great job, very detailed oriented and I am very happy with all the work done. Dan was a pleasure to deal with and I will request him in the future for sure. Sorry, I don't have the business card in front of me right this moment but I believe his name was Dan.

From the start our experience with the entire Alure team was amazing. Our first contact was with Ro Mikelinich. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She guided us through the entire redesign process, suggesting all kinds of options, right down to the cabinet hardware. She summarized the complete job and her resultant preview computer drawings were right on. Ro was there through the entire project, even helped us pick out the paint color for our new kitchen. Dave Weber was an excellent Project Coordinator. He explained exactly how the renovation would proceed. He was always available to assure our expectations were being met. Through all kind of weather, the project finished , even ahead of schedule. All Dave's crews were excellent craftsman, very courteous, punctual and neat. The five year guarantee is great and demonstrates the confidence and pride of the Alure team. Ro is currently helping us plan a flooring renovation in our living room. We know it will exceed our expectation. Kudos to Ro and the entire Alure team!!!!

They did a beautiful job!! They answered all our questions, helped us figure out what we needed, assisted in design decisions,and calmed my nerves when necessary !! They were very accessible at all times and stayed on schedule,completing the job in one week as promised. Very professional but also friendly and really seem to care. And the workmanship is excellent!. We are very happy with how our kitchen looks and would use them again in the future.

He was recommended by my realtor. You would think that your realtor would advise you of someone who is really good, but this is not the case. I even invited my realtor over to inspect the work, but she never showed up. He didn't bring enough formica, and then what he did bring was the wrong color. He only brought 2 cabinet knobs when we needed 4. He then installed the doors so that they opened the wrong way. I told him I wanted a railing installed on my stairs, but he never finished it so I got a splinter. I had to have another friend of mine finish the railing. He would tell me he's coming one day and then not show up until two days later which interfered with my work schedule. I couldn't wait to get him out of my house.

Kitchen came out fantastic. Adam does amazing work, and is very capable from a cabinetry building and design perspective. His moldings are very unique, and really add uniqueness to the job. He is a perfectionist, and took as much pride in the job as if it was in his own home. He comes through on everything that he commits to do. My sense is that they are very trustworthy and take great pride n all of the projects that they do. He was always punctual, estimated the length of time needed for the job exactly, left the house immaculately clean each day (not just at the end of the job) He answered all my questions, and was even willing to make a last minute change on the job scope after I fully understood implications of a design element that we had agreed to but that I didn't visualize correctly, initially. This required him to put extra time and labor in, but he accommodated my wishes, without giving me any trouble. The finished kitchen looks like it can be in a magazine. I have received very positive feedback from everyone who has seen it. It has truly transformed my home. Denise typically works in the showroom, and was also very helpful and patient. They are very good project managers, ensuring that all needed pieces come in on time, and in a coordinated manner. They minimize the pain associated with a complete kitchen rehaul. I am 200% satisfied and would recommend them completely.

Joe, the handyman at Curren, did an excellent job performing handyman services in our home on two occasions. Both times I gave him a list of what needed to be done (i.e., install ceiling light fixtures, repair broken light, replace drawer and cabinet knobs, fix door knobs, repair woodwork, install weatherproofing strips, remove old safety latches/childproofing, etc). I supplied some of the items, such as weather strips, drawer knobs, light bulbs (though he is willing run to a store to pick up items, if needed), he brought his own tools, caulk etc. and did the work for an hourly rate billed through Curren companies. I was extremely satisfied with his work and will definitely use him again in the future. The cost is a bit higher than average, but he is very pleasant and professional, communicates well, and is more intelligent and experienced than other handymen I have hired over the past 20 years so the price seemed fair given that the process was stress-free and everything was done well. I felt comfortable having him in our home and would be willing to leave him working in our home alone if I weren't able to stay for the entire time. He's a great find for handyman services and some types of electrical work (apparently he is a licensed electrician). It worked well to give him a written list of the needed repairs, and show him what needed to be done for each repair on the list. After the "tour" I left him to complete the work and all repairs were accomplished to my satisfaction.
