Recent Review: The furnace repair went without a hitch and the gentleman who did the repairs was great. The hot water heater replacement had an issue where the gas was leaking after the repair and had to call National Grid in and then call Universal. The leak should have been discovered at the time of installation as the connection was never secured which cause the gas leak.

Recent Review: I am a Registered Architect in NY but had trouble finding a contractor to do the job in a 4 story townhouse in Manhattan at a reasonable price. They set appointments and kept to their schedule The job started as promised and was competed ahead of schedule They worked in a clean manner I had 1 minor problem and they came back immediately. I rate them 100%. Couldn't have wished for more.

Recent Review: A few weeks ago i noticed pieces of cement on the ground next to the chimney. I called Ageless after my neighbor recommended them. I scheduled the appointment for 9/19/15. They called to confirm the day before and told me they would be on site between 11am and 12pm. When they arrived, the workers were professional and got right to work inspecting the top of the chimney. They verified the crown was cracked and needed to be repaired. They looked in the boiler room and identified a need to have a new chimney liner installed. They cleaned the inside of the chimney, removing the broken pieces of the original clay liner as well as other dirt and debris. The area was vacuumed and cleaned before he left. The liner was then installed and connected to the oil burner. The worker who repaired the cement crown also did a good job. He was thorough in cleaning up the old cement from the roof. I would hire them again and I would recommend them to anyone with chimney issuess.

Price for the primary repair was reasonable, but the overflow switch was quite expensive relative to the part cost so a B on price. I would use them again for repairs.

Recent Review: Customer since 2016. Technicians are great. Typically my experience has been 5 stars as I love(d) the responsiveness and that they send you a photo of the person showing up. Today, totally different story. I had a genuine concern and the woman on the phone for Service/Customer Support was incredibly combative. She refused to slow down and hear me out when I was actually saying the same thing she was. She really didn't care about the direction the call was taking and it was obvious she was standing firm on a useless argument. I'm no huge customer, but I am/was supporting a local business since 2016; today's encounter not only makes me hesitant to ever use them again, but moreso hesitant to endorse to neighbors and friends. Then again, it's Monday; maybe she's just having a bad day.

Recent Review: Went really well. Techs repaired my heat pump in two hours. My issue required them to call manufacturer to get some info on the unit which took an extra 30 minutes but after that it went smooth. They also gave me a few tips on how to maintain my system. Recent Review: Was concerned at first as he felt the line that went to the outside vent was damaged and it would be quite expensive to repair. Since we had the basement finished, I was somewhat concerned that we would be opening the wall and possibly the ceiling to get to the root of the vent problem. After looking further into the wall opening and outside vent, he discovered that the problem was fixable and made the necessary repairs. The dryer is now working well and efficiently.

Recent Review: An excellent experience from initial booking to finished work product. We had a leaky steam shutoff valve on our pre-war building radiator. Another company quoted us a price of $675.00 for replacing a $25.00 part. We had a good laugh and went to Angie's List to find another plumber who wasn't going to charge what amounts to a $500+ hourly bill rate. After booking the appointment, I sent a picture of the defective valve to Stanley Lewis and they responded promptly with clarifying questions and all the necessary detail to ensure that the repair could take place during the initial visit. I received two confirmation calls from the Stanley Lewis office, one the evening before and one on the day of repairs. Cliff (a super nice and courteous guy) showed up a few minutes after 9:00 (the time window was 9:00-12:00), quickly diagnosed the problem, got a phone quote ($299.00 incl. tax) and got to work. The new valve was professionally installed and tested in about 30 minutes. Definitely my new "go to plumber" in NYC!
