Absolutely fantastic from the first phone call. Within a a few hours of talking to him he looked at job to be done. I had an estimate in a timely manner and it was more than fair. He answered all my questions and was professional throughout the whole process. He came exactly when promised. Jon and his crew worked like dogs. It was hot and they never slowed down until it was done. They made sure the area was level and practically raked up every twig. He earned every dime and deserved more. Now that it is done I feel so blessed that I was somehow led to Jon first just by web search, then after seeing other reviews on Angie's list I knew he was who I needed for the job

Green Acres Lanw Care & Landscape
I have been using Green Acres for the last year to cut the grass, general weeding and trimming, and sprinkler winterization. Although they are dependable and I live out of the area, their prices are not competitive. Since this property is a rental, I questioned charges on several occasions since it feels that the bill contains too many man hours and other charges. In this case, without prior notice, Green Acres removed the leaves from my property (about 1/2 acre) and the bill details 3 men, billing 5 hours. On top of that, I was charged $100 to haul off the leaves, plus a $10 fuel surcharge. The total was $690! There are simply not enough leaves to remove to add up to $690! The $10 fuel surcharge was added a year ago when gasoline spiked, but it has never been removed even with the drop in fuel prices

Alex Dominguez was the employee and he was great! For the past 10 months, he has done an excellent job and did anything we needed for the yard, and he brought the grass back to a lush green and flourishing lawn. However, over the past two weeks Alex disappeared and haven't heard from him or the company since. I hate giving such a low grade, but if you're running a business, communication is a must! I attempted to reach out to him on several occasions, but I have not received a response. Now, I have to resort to seeking out another lawn service that will match or excel above the work previously done by Alex. I wish him and the company well, but I cannot and will not allow businesses to fall short of our needs

Found Grassy Roots on Angie's list and called. Rice Pierce called me back and he visited and gave me an estimate for the work. I wasn't here when the work was done, but my neighbor told me that his crew worked a long time and diligently. My grass is coming up and looks great. My deck was very clean after they worked on it (had mildew and other issues). I was able to apply a stain after the cedar oil and the deck looks very good. They didn't use a power washer (the last fellow did and my deck mildewed almost immediately plus there was wood "fluff" all over my home). I'm very pleased with their work and they will continue to take care of my lawn for weed and feed, etc. + any overseeding that needs to be done. I would recommend this company to anyone. They are helpful, skilled and timely

The group that used to cut my yard left me without any notice and with all the rain we had around the 4th of July, my yard was way over grown. When I realized I needed to find a new mowing company, I contacted Brauss and they came out that week. When Brauss arrived to cut the lawn I mentioned that since the grass was so high, I would rake it after they were done. I have a half acre and from experience it takes me about 5 hours to rake and bag the grass clippings. The Brauss crew was kind enough to blow all the grass clippings into a manageable area on each side of my house which was great as it only took me about 2 hours to rake everything up. The crew was very professional and did an excellent job of trimming and blowing off the sidewalk and driveway. I will be using them going forward

Nick and his team are AMAZING ! I sent an email request and one hour later received a call back. They came out the very same day and stayed past dusk to finish the job. Our yard is quirky, broken up into 3 distinct yards and has many beds - front and back - and a deck the entire length of the house. It was absolutely littered with dead leaves and was a mess. They wrangled the leaves by using leaf blowers - three people side-by-side, walking the property. It was like watching the Ghostbusters! After working 1/2 the property the pile of leaves was over 3 feet tall. I can't even imagine what it looked like at the street where their mulching machine was working. Within 45 minutes the leaves disappeared and were taken away (hopefully to be recycled). It was like magic. It would have taken me days and much back pain to rake the yard myself. Once the landscaping scourge of the block, our house is pretty again now. They were so professional, so pleasant and SO reasonably priced. I would recommend Yaardvark Landscape Management to anyone and plan to use them again in the future. I just can't say enough good things about the experience

A-Way Stump Grinding & Lawn Care
Michael has a tractor with a stump grinder on the back and a bucket on the front. After grinding, he used the bucket to level the area and then raked to get big wood chunks. Two years ago we had a stump ground by someone else and it was a mess and cost more. Michael is definitely the way to do it. We got quotes this time from others but none of them had the "rig" like A-Way's and Michael's pricing is competitive and his finished product is so much better. He is very personable and knowledgeable. We feel so lucky that we found him

We have been looking for about a week for someone to mow our lawn. It was weeks overdue for its first mow of the season. My wife had broke her ankle and I injured my back so we could not mow it. We were driving through the adjacent neighborhood and saw these guys working on a lawn. We asked them if they could mow our lawn as well. They took our address and said they would fit it in that day or the next. They stopped by our house several hours later and quoted us $35 for the first time since we had such high growth as they would have to mow areas twice. After that they said it would be $25. They quickly mowed the entire yard, edged the driveway, porches, and flowerbeds, and trimmed the entire yard. Before they left they cleaned up completely including blowing all the grass off the drive, street, and porches, and even raked up the piles of cut grass from the overgrown area. We've already asked them to come back in a few weeks

This business is highly professional. A certified arborist came to the house 2 weeks before the job was to be done, explained how the trimming would proceed, and made suggestions regarding which limbs to remove. On the day of the service, the arborist arrived 1/2 hour before the crew was to arrive, and explained again the process. The crew of 2 arrived on time, with a large chipper in tow. It was very obvious the crew member who climbed the tree was very good at his job! He was quick and efficient, and was very careful to avoid dropping limbs and debris onto our patio garden, which was directly under the tree. At the end of the job, they raked up all debris, and it was barely noticeable that they had been there at all. The entire process took just a little over 1 hour

Scheduling: Was a breeze. I scheduled via messages in Angie's List (although I believe you can do it on their website as well). I had actually been asking for information, and they didn't even make me fill out a form. I asked for the time I was interested in, I got a message confirming it, and I was even able to change it for a more convenient time a few days later, all through messaging them. They were super responsive and incredibly easy to schedule with. Service: Fantastic. I really can't say enough good things about Danny and his partner. They called when they were about 30 min away, as well as when they were about 10 mins out (as I had requested, because I had to corral the dogs). They divided and conquered and did each thing I had asked for - super expediently. I even asked them to go back and clear out just a little bit more yard debris I found under a table I left in my yard, and they were happy to do so. Danny and his partner did a fantastic job in just 20 minutes!!! Price: Really very affordable. I showed them everything I needed and they quoted me on the spot for $160 total. I was able to purchase $100 worth of services for $75 on Angie's List in advance of the appointment (it's a pretty good service for homeowners). That left me with an additional payment of $60 at the end of the visit, and then I added a bit more for gratuity as these guys work really hard, and they deserved something for themselves. Overall: 5 star service. Thank you Danny and the Stand Up Guys!!! I'll be back

I first hired George Clark and his company, Outdoor ProWash, over ten years ago. I have continued to hire him to service my property at least twice a year because he always does an excellent job. He carries extra tall ladders on his truck, which is a requirement for the 2 buildings on my commercial property. I consider what he does to be somewhat dangerous because he has to climb some very tall ladders and, on when I hire him to clean the leaves out of the gutters, he has to get up on the roof, which is steep. But, he is a professional and makes it look easy! He's also honest and fair with regard to his fees. Highly recommended

We had a top-notch experience with Junk-o-Haulics. The gentlemen who came were extremely professional and made sure that we got our money's worth in terms of how they loaded their trailer. They were on time (early in fact), professional, fast with their work, and friendly. They made sure to let me know of any extra costs (like tires) upfront, and they made sure the area was cleaned up afterwards. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone who needs items hauled

Eric was amazing. I called him one night and he met with me the next afternoon at the house. He told me he would have an estimate for me by that evening and he did. He told me he would be able to start work the following Monday (he squeezed us in) and sure enough, when I went to check on things, he had workmen all over the house working on things. I couldn't believe how fast he got things done.Everytime I went to the property to check on things, people were there busily at work. He had it all done in a little over two weeks and it only took that long because the cabinet maker delivered the wrong size cupboard doors. I have been a Realtor for more than 25 years and I have never seen a Contractor who was this great. He is the best. Hands down

I placed calls to three companies who do Lawn Irrigation. Sunrise of Nashville was the first to come out and look over our yard, ask us what we wanted in reference to what areas we wanted to have irrigation, and then they explained their product and installation. They then sent us a quote by email in a timely manner. We then waited on the other companies and finally after 3 calls to one company who was too busy to call me back and the other company wanted to put down their competitior who came out here first, we decided to go with Sunrise of Nashville. Ralph Rust did an excellent job and everything we were told and quoted was done in a timely manner and we have had not had any problems. We had to have some sprinkler heads adjusted and they were out to our home the next day. We were also invoiced for exactly what we were quoted. We had three quotes and Sunrise was the least expensive out of the three and we are very happy with the system. We have called Ralph asking questions about how to change the times and dates on the system and he has been very helpful and rersponds quickly to our calls. We are very pleased with their service and their product

Ed did an the job as promised both when I used him seasonally and then on several occassions when I was out of town. After retiring I began doing my own mowing. When out-of-town on vacation it is difficult to find someone to mow on a one-time basis. This is not a problem with Ed. He is both professional and extremely polite. I felt very comfortable about him performing his services when I was not there

Hired another company at first to top the tree, but were not totally satisfied with their work. We were in a rush because the pool people were coming the next day to start digging the pool. Called Mears. He came right away and gave us a fair quote. It was drizzling out, but he knew we had to get it done, so he got the equipment out there right away and did the job. He cleaned it all up. He raked our yard, the neighbor's yard, he even picked up some piles I had raked earlier that day. We were very satisfied with his work and would hire him again.
