Nashville Wallpaper Installation

Contacted Ms. Lillian for a quote over the telephone which she provided based on my description of the job. Mentioned I'd seen a discount coupon online for her services and she was very agreeable to accepting it. Made a date for just over a week later for her to come to our home to install a large wallpaper mural in my son's room. Ms. Lillian came to our home ready to get to work; she was confident and professional and very pleasant to deal with. She had a lot of experience with murals and in fact knew the manufacturer of the mural I'd purchased. She was thorough when prepping the walls and as she began to hang the paper it was clear she was in her element. Her seams are beautiful and I was very impressed with the quality of her work. The mural looks fabulous and Ms. Lillian was a pleasure to have in our home. The workspace was completely cleared when she was finished and you wouldn't have known she was here except for the lovely artwork she left behind. I would happily recommend Ms. Lillian to anyone looking to hire a professional wallpaper hanger and I'm looking forward to having her back soon to hang more wallpaper!

Christine hung the wallpaper in my kitchen about 8 years ago. At that time she advised me to buy a couple of extra rolls of the paper and keep it for possible repair. Today I am in the process of remodeling the kitchen and having new cabinets installed. In some areas I had new drywall, and in other parts of the kitchen the wallpaper had been damaged and needed to be replaced. I called her and she came by to make an estimate. Today she came to do the work. She makes wallpapering look easy. That comes from years of experience. My kitchen walls are back to being like new again.

Chuck Head with precision painters was very prompt, easy to work with, and personable. His crew was on time and friendly. The problem came after the work was done and I noticed that in all three rooms the woodwork had been poorly primed and painted in recessed areas of the moldings. There was bare wood showing in all areas. This was consistent in all three rooms that were painted. The moldings were not excessively detailed. All of this priming and painting was done with a spray on technique. I will be forced to go in and hand paint all of these areas in all three rooms. I emailed Mr. Head and let him know about the problem. Instead of offering to come back and remedy the problem he informed me that he would "bring it to the attention of his crew". I told him that I didn't think there was even enough paint to do all the retouching and asked where the paint came from. He did not offer to provide more paint and told me where I could buy more. To say the least, this was a disappointing outcome. I would like to be able to recommend him and his company but unfortunately the quality of the work and his lack of response to the problem does allow for me to do so. If the quality of the work had not been lacking the price for the work was reasonable. I had no problem with his crew while they were in my home. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

The papering was done according to schedule during a refresh renovation of living space. There was a problem, however. The wallpaper selected (I believe it was Sherwin Williams) was defective in that it was not cut exactly straight so that the edges had periodic noticeable gaps revealing the dry wall behind. My issue here is that this issue should have been recognized early on in the papering process, it should have been reported to the project manager, the installation should have been halted immediately, and remediation (perhaps new paper?) should have followed. However, the installers continued and actually completed the paper work - gaps and all. When this was brought to the attention of the PM, Lillians was asked to correct the obvious flaws. The (Lillians) owner repeatedly declined to communicate with the PM. This level of unprofessionalism and refusal of accountability is unconscionable. We would never have Lillians do any more work for us nor recommend Lillians to others.

This was a project which had gone very badly in my daughter's lovely new home. I offered to hire a professional paper hanger as a gift, and hired Misty Lyndsey after checking some references. Being new to Tennessee, I don't know anyone. I got several names from two wallpaper vendors, and and that's how I found her. She also does all of the wallpapering for Beezer Homes' models, by the way. She worked quickly, was delightful company while she was there (I was on site while she was working), and transformed an enormous disappointment into a really stunning powder room! You would think the paper was hung before the sink and toilet were installed, that's how perfect it looks around the pipes, etc. Wow!

Lillian wallpapered our master bathroom, guest suite bathroom, and an upstairs powder room, as well as painting the ceilings, and the water closet in our master bathroom. We already had the wallpaper, and discovered that despite asking for extra from the people who sold us the wallpaper, they shorted us on the paper for the master bathroom by so much yardage that we didn't have enough to paper the water closet. Despite this obstacle, Lillian did an outstanding job when installing the master bathroom paper, which required extensive pattern matching. She literally used every last scrap, and you cannot find the places where she had to piece tiny pieces of paper to complete the job. I have had a number of wallpaper installations over the years, and never had the pleasure of working with someone as talented and capable as Lillian. She is thorough, and takes the time to do all of the right preparation in sizing the walls, sanding them, and even was able to do some minor dry wall and ceiling repairs that were needed. She has all of the technical engineering skills to address any aspect of wall preparation. She also has an excellent eye for design, a rare combination in an artist of her caliber. The paint color she chose for the ceilings and water closet was exactly what I pictured in my head, except that I couldn't have selected such a close match, but she could. She is always on time, professional in every aspect, from execution to clean up. She is also simply a joy to work with. She has a real passion for the business and it shows. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. And recommendations are not something that I take lightly. I would be happy to submit photos when we complete the fabric portion of these projects, so that subscribers can truly see the overall impact of her work.
