Chaz and Sheila were wonderful. Chaz is honest and doesn't take on a job that he cannot safely perform to a high quality. After reviewing my list of requests, Chaz and Sheila performed research to find the best options for my situation. Chaz could not do the garage header as it was a 2 man job, but he was so helpful providing other options. I completely appreciate Chaz for not taking a job he couldn't complete well. Chaz and Sheila were always responsive and punctual. Chaz hung 3 sets of new shutters for me, he removed an old squirrel baffle and installed a new replacement, and he repaired wood rot on an exterior door. Chaz and Sheila also gave me estimates on replacing my front porch columns and rails due to wood rot. I didn't have that job done at this time but will look at those options in the future. I love that Chaz prays with his clients before he starts work. Chaz and Sheila deliver high quality handyman work at a great price. I will definitely be calling on Chaz again

Mark is truly a talented tradesman. The exterior shutters that he installed were made of "wood composite," weighing 8 to 10 pounds each. He was very meticulous in locating and marking off where to mount the shutters. One pair of shutters was for a Bonus Room window over the garage. The window is about 17 feet above the driveway. The mounting brackets that came with the shutters were made of "polycarbonate" type of plastic. Mark took thin angle iron and fabricated new mounting brackets; painted the brackets with the exact matching color of the window shutters. The window shutters look perfect. My wife and I could not have expected a better installation. The roof trim, gutters and downspouts were severely stained.We never thought any of it would ever be brought back to the original color. Mark and his son really worked magic in cleaning all the trim and gutters. We would definitely hire Mark again

this is a follow up to my original review and the vile unprofessional reply the owner left in response. Just now seeing this and only wish I had seen it much sooner so people would have a chance to see his nasty reply along with this one. The owner claims he tooks notes of our conversation etc which is really funny because in his nasty reply to my review he kept referring to me as a "he" and Im actually a 39 year old FEMALE so he either didnt take notes or he has me confused with someone else he smarted off to. Its almost comical that he would get such basic FACTS so messed up --- especially since he replied back about my "brick house" which is actually a wood frame house. Guy has issues and Id glad his true nature was put on display here so others, hopefully, wont have to endure such a lack of common curtesy and unprofessionalism. He should have been courteous knowing that someone was even considering to give him a job, but I suppose thats asking too much from him. As for my shutters -- yeah I got the big box store to install them and it was worth every dime. the workers were clean and professional and did an excellent job putting up the shutters and they didnt damage anything as this Angies list troll claimed they would. He might get more work if he acted like a professional and didnt have a chip on his shoulder. Customers beware --- nobody deserves to be talked to like a dog as that guy did me

Called this company for help with a very basic handman job. I already had the shutters but just needed someone to hang them. The owner did return my call promptly and I appreciated that, however the price he quoted me for installation was almost double what Home Depot charges. When I commented on his price I feel he got defensive because he then started to whine and say that his big truck doesnt run for free, and that he has 2 or 3 workers who have to go out when he does so that affects the price. I understand there is salaries to pay, gas to buy etc - and I wasnt asking for something free, just not understanding why a customer has to pay 3 or more people to come out for a very simple ONE man job

Chaz and Sheila are wonderful people - honest, friendly, sincere, and professional. Chaz is very competent and knowledgeable about a wide spectrum of home repair issues. He is extremely thorough and flexible. We had to change a few things from our original plans and he was the epitome of patience, understanding, and cooperation. He is frank and honest about what he does and will offer observations/recommendations when appropriate or requested. Chaz will be returning to complete the to-do list that we have. He does excellent work; charges an acceptable hourly rate; arrives on time; only charges for the actual time he works; and works the whole time he is here. That, in itself, should be the best recommendation anyone would need. We highly recommend Chaz and Sheila. They are good people and do a great job

He had us take photos/measurement of the repairs we needed and email them to him so that he could purchase supplies in advance, thus limiting the time he would have to spend away from house. Every repair was done beautifully. Matt is funny, smart and exceptionally friendly as well - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect handyman. It did not turn out as expected. I was told that they were able to put up a light in the foyer. The main issue I had was that I really did want that done but I also wanted some shutters taken down. I would put them back up if I could. There were some other things I wanted done such as a basketball court taken down. It was a rainy day when the gentleman came out. I had asked him not to take the shutters down because I was not prepared at the time to put the shutters back up. I needed to paint them, etc. He went ahead and took down the basketball court, which was great. He took down all of the shutters and that was it. So when I called the owner, they came out. I had to purchase $500 worth of brand new shutters for the entire house. I put them up on the bottom part of the house. They went ahead and put them on the top part of the house. I just felt like with the number of hours that I had paid for, that a lot more could've been done if they had like two people instead of one person coming out there. They didn't have the equipment and needed to use my hammer. He complained that he had to travel so far out to get to my house because whoever the owner was didn't put the proper person on the job or whatever. They almost hit one of my other contractors that was doing yard work because shutters kept falling down off of the house. This also put the other contractors that were doing the yard work in danger. Then I was told that they couldn't do the foyer light because of the way that it was positioned. They just couldn't do it and were of no help in finding someone who could. I was told originally that they could do it and even told how they could do it. The owner was upset with his employee for saying he could do it like that because it was dangerous. The owner couldn't figure out how he could do it. It was like to me, misrepresentation. I just felt like the only satisfaction that I received out of the whole thing was that the basketball court was taken down. So I was not pleased with it at all. They cost me more than what I spent. The first guy that came out told me that the reason why they do these promotions is so that we can get in and get more business because houses have a lot more that they need to have done. He said that it was just a way for us to get in the door and figure out what other things need to be done. You don't tell customers that

These jobs that had been nagging at me for so long, took just less than 3 hours to complete. This experience was so smooth. Chaz went through my entire list. There were two items that he could not do, and told me so upfront. We then discussed each job to be completed. After we agreed on price, he started work immediately and was done less than 3 hours later. Chaz and Sheila have a great thing going. Everything from the initial contact, to the work, to the thank you note they sent me after the job was completed, was done with professionalism and a cheerful disposition

Tim is prompt, pleasant, and committed to honest work. He shows up when he says he will. He did a good job of keeping me informed when unexpected challenges arose (there was more water damage than we could originally see. ) When materials are a significant expense, he will ask for payment to cover them at the time of purchase. Labor expenses are payable when work is completed. We are pleased with the quality of his work and will definetly call him again

Bob came out, listened to what i wanted and then contacted the supplier in Florida. He provided me with an estimate that included all materials and labor. He said he was willing to try it as it might be something that others in our area would be interested in. Based on my research his price seemed fair. He did all the measurement, communicated with the supplier, installed the shutters and they look and work great. Bob is busy. There are times when i had to contact him to get him out. He ran into some technical issues with the remote control that controls the shutters but to his credit he stuck with it until they worked perfectly. And this was AFTER he had been paid in full for the job. I am pretty sure he did not make much profit on my job. I feel like he is a honest, hard working and busy small business man who knows how important a great reputation is in his field of work. Because he is on his own he has to work a little harder on the communication and follow up but I do think he is doing the best he can at this time. I have already contacted him about a couple of other jobs

I have called Mike Sawyer on three separate occasions. In February, 2009, he replaced a oven/microwave unit. In September, 2009, he repaired door frame and wall after someone broke into property. I have always been pleased with Mike's work. This work was done on vacant rental property. I did help when I could and 'gophered' to get supplies when necessary. The cost was $2500 and worth every penny. Mike is friendly and knowledge. I will call him for future projects
