It was NOT a good experience. The new liner had a hole in it from the beginning and leaked off and on for almost a year. The company sent someone out several times (never when they said they would be there) and submitted a bill for each visit, but never corrected the problem. Over the year, the liner began to "shift" and "float" resulting in many wrinkles. They told us it was the result of "flooding" and there was nothing that could be done about it. (Even though the flood water did not come up to our backyard, and our neighbors also have liner pools with no problem from the flooding.) We finally had a reputable pool company from Gallatin take a look and within a week it was repaired. The only problem was the "original" hole which allowed water to get under the liner. The end result was a year of frustration with a dysfunctional pool and considerable extra expense

Don Doolin measured the liner incorrectly twice - resulting in a long wait and frustration. The final liner contains numerous highly visible wrinkles (bottom & sides) and 2 corners where the liner is not attached at all. Doolin won't respond to phone calls.

Rojos Pool Service
They are excellent. I am very pleased with them. The service is of very good value. They keep an eye on things and make sure my pool works. I don’t live there all the time and so I count on them not just to provide service but to also let me know if something needs to be done and they are very good about that. So, if the water level is low or something like that, they are very good about providing all extra service in that area. I don’t have much comparison and it is the first pool I have ever had but it seems like a reasonable price to me

REEP CHIP POOLS & SPAS
The pool's physical cleaning was conducted properly. When we noticed normal water evaporation during the summer months, Mr. Reep claimed we had a leak and recommended the hiring of divers to investigate. In February Mr. Reep said that our Diatomaceous Earth pool filter was not operating. He removed the internal portion of the pool filtration system without permission and subsequently claimed he worked 5 hours on the filter grids. He phoned to tell us that two of the grids had to be replaced at a cost of $700+, but he recommended replacing all eight filter grids for well over $900. When I called a national supplier of pool filters I surprised to learn that all 8 of the filter grids cost approximately $132. I ordered the filter grids and a neighbor and myself replaced the grids in approximately 30 minutes. I had previously asked Mr. Reep to return the filter unit to me. He did so, but demanded $450.for the five hours he worked on the system. I paid him for his "work." Mr. Reep was asked whether he had administered DE powder to the pool's skimmer system to coat the grids...and he said it wasn't needed. I found out later that without the DE powder the grids will become clogged and would soon have to be replaced. Mr. Reep is the second pool service we have had during the past three years. Now, as members of Angie's List, perhaps we'll find a company that can handle the pool servicing in a professional manner

American Leak Detection of Greater Nashville, LLC
The company was recommended by a pool service company. That pool professional, who is very responsive, said this company could fix an emergency. After leaving 4 very detailed messages over 4 days (they don’t respond on weekends, FYI, but voice message indicates they answer the phone 7 days a week), they did not return my emergency messages (we were out of the country with a renter in the house). We finally got someone on the phone that said that she didn’t quite know what she was doing because she had not been trained and that someone would call us shortly. That did not happen. We reached out again and got a hold of the manager of the company and she did not have all of the information that we had supplied repeatedly, told us that we had not given her team our email address (as though we refused…they never requested it). They only wanted to communicate through email and she was quite short with me and told me that it would be at least three weeks before anyone would be able to even consider working on our pool. If you have a leak with water rushing out of the pool, I am guessing you need it fixed quickly. Evidently the owner of this company has created a culture that does not foster good customer service, well trained employees nor communication that could solve issues effectively and efficiently. If you can’t reach them and leave a message, be aware that they do not respond. 4 messages in 4 days….hmmm. Pool Leak Company has been recommended and seems to have a less “corporate” approach and has an owner that seems to be accountable. Good luck!�

The price was as quoted. But the thing that impressed us most was his level of expertise and professionalism.
