My roof was leaking into my family room. I used Angie's List to find a roofing contractor and selected Newsom. My call to them was returned that same day and three individuals were on site the next day to inspect my roof. They focused on the area of the leak but also inspected the rest of the roof. I told them that my roof was about 15-16 years old. Their inspection took about 30 minutes. I was concerned they were going to tell me I needed my whole roof replaced. Instead they told me that they had found the leak and it could be repaired and mentioned some other areas that needed minimal repair. One of the individuals told me he felt I had 2-3 years of life in my existing roof. Jason explained exactly what they believed needed to be done to repair the leak........removing existing shingles, installing ice and water shield in the roof valley, installing new shingles at the valley, installing new step flashing, ice and water shield, new shingles and new siding at the area below the valley repair, paint new siding. I asked him a lot of questions about shingle type, metal roofs, etc all of which he answered in terms I could understand.....including the two ways shingles are installed on roofs and which is the better way to do it. He told me he would provide a proposal to me by the next day. He did just that and interestingly provided one proposal to fix only the leak and a second proposal to fix the leak and complete other needed tasks when he could have just provided the second proposal which was obviously more expensive. We agreed on the second proposal. Jason told me it would be about 4 days before he could do the work which I agreed on. IMPORTANT: two days later heavy rain was forecast. Jason called me and said he and one of his men would be out that evening to put in a temporary fix so my roof would not leak during the heavy rain before they could complete the the permanent work. Late that evening they came by and did just that......my roof did not leak during the rain. They came back as scheduled and did the permanent work in two days and did a very good job cleaning up. The work looks good and my roof does not leak. I was billed exactly what we had originally agreed on even though they came out and did a temporary fix knowing heavy rain was predicted. Jason and his men communicated well with me during the whole project so I knew what the plan was and when it would occur. If you want a roofing contractor who does things right, goes out of their way to serve the customer and does so at a fair price then all you need to know is Newsom's phone number. I now have a roofing contractor I can depend on to do anything I may need in the future including eventually a new roof. This situation also confirmed my decision to join Angie's List

Overall, Noe did a good job and was a nice man. He eagerly takes on tough projects that most handymen aren't willing to tackle due to complexity or most small contractors aren't willing to perform due to small scale. The ceiling repair (roof leak, air duct, drywall, & paint) in the bedroom and concrete repair on the front porch both look seamless and as good as new. He also completed some other small jobs around the exterior of the house and even pointed out some issues himself that I was happy to have him fix

Job was completed professionally. To be safe they were asked to redo the flashing around 2 dormer windows. It took longer than expected but Nikki stayed the course, completed the job and provided a 1 year warranty. Great job!

Called them about a week after the March 2nd storm when I noticed a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Thought it was possibly hail damage.. Turned out they only need to replace 2 boots (black gasket around vent pipes) and a couple missing shingles. Only cost $100. I had many people since wanting to inspect my roof so they could sell me a new one and have the insurance company pay. I would tell them it has been inspected and didn't have hail damage and then they start arguing that an adjustor would low ball me without them. Told them that company I used was not based on an insurance company and they had no reason to under sell to me. Used them a few years back based on a referral to ix a leak between the garage roof and the side of the house. Price was good (I think around $450) and it stopped the leak. Would definitely use them again over the door to door aggressive sellers

Check your roof periodically!!! We had a leak that must have existed for some time, which was discovered when we decorated the house for Christmas. The water was coming through the roof onto the tops of plastic storage boxes, and so we were unaware of the problem until the boxes were moved. The gentleman from Bone Dry Roofing was very cordial during the initial call, came to look at the problem in a timely fashion, and performed excellent service. Because the shingles were 11 years old, he made the extra effort to find something that was a very close match to the existing shingles. They also found some rotted wood on the side of a dormer, replaced and painted it at no extra charge. I highly recommend Mr.Fitzwilson and Bone Dry for roofing projects

May roofers don't want to bother with minor roof repairs, since they make a lot more money from full roof replacements; but thankfully, Roof Roof is not one of those roofers. I called and someone called me back that day to schedule a time to stop by. He was on time and very helpful (I know I need to replace the roof, but I'm not ready yet, so he provided me with some useful information that would help me plan down the road.) We agreed that his team would call me to schedule a time to stop by. The following day, while I was waiting for the call, I called my husband said he said they had already been there and completed the repair. Thankfully, my husband was home that day to bring the dogs in, and based on the rain storms we've had since, the leak I had appears to have been fixed successfully (which is a bigger deal than it sounds, as the source of a leak can be pretty tricky to track down, however, I had a pretty good idea where this one was coming from (roof vent), as we had a similar leak a couple years ago from the other roof vent.) So all in all, the only thing that didn't go perfectly was the repair team stopped by instead of calling, which caught me off guard. But overall, a very pleasant repair experience. I will definitely give them a call when I'm ready to replace the entire roof

The work was great, and the crew even better. My roof is 2 years old, but the company that installed it could never be reached to service it for the repairs. I found Bone Dry on Angie's List with great reviews, so I called. Now I totally understand why. Dustin came to evaluate and bid the job on 5/6. He called prior to arrival to let me now he was on his way, which was terrific. After checking the leak location on the roof, he inspected everything else up there and found the chimney issues, taking pictures to show me the situation, and walked me through what the repairs entailed. I had choices with the guttering and insulation, so he sent bids by email for each service with the various options and costs laid out so that we could make an informed decision. Dustin even noticed something potentially amiss with my attic AC unit, which I would never have known about. I had my AC guy out the next day to check and while it ended up being minor, it could have caused big damage if I had left it unattended. Thank you, Dustin! We signed the proposal the next week and scheduled all of the work for 5/23. Josh called in the early afternoon on 5/20 to let me know he was coming to do the roof and gutter work. I wasn't expecting him, and no one was home, but since he didn't need to get inside the house, it was not a problem. As he neared the end of the work, around 5:00pm, he found he was a little short on material, so he called to tell me this and that he'd be back first thing the next morning. He also told me he had found a piece of jewelery on the back deck and let me know where he would leave if for me to find. Gotta love the integrity. Roof repair and gutter work done, and a couple days earlier than I expected, to boot. (I passed him leaving the house close to 6:00pm. So clean was the area, you would have never known he was there at all.) The day of the insulation install, the guys were running a little late due to a back up at the supplier. Dustin let me know they were running behind and when to expect them. They were only about 30 minutes late, but it was so nice not having to wonder about where they were. Josh got there first, introduced himself, since we had not yet met face to face, and went right to work. Dustin was few minutes behind and in no time they were ready to do the blown insulation. The job took a couple of hours - and it was very, very quiet. Josh showed me pictures of everything once completed, with shots from all areas of the attic. We could not be happier with the quality of the work and the quality of the crew. And here's something to think about: I would have no qualms leaving the house with Josh and/or Dustin by themselves, if I needed. Can't say that about many providers. My neighbor watched Josh do the roof and gutter work and was impressed enough to have Josh check out his house, which needed work done that was similar to mine. Bottom line: I highly recommend Bone Dry Roofing of Nashville. They are now "my roof guys" and the only provider I would use

Work done was good and prompt. Replacement shingles did not match exactly but that was explained well. I would've preferred an estimate with exact breakdown of materials instead of all being lumped together with labor. And I expected a return call the same day when I called to question the final bill that was different from the estimate

My roof starting leaking after a lot of rain and ice so I called these guys to come take a look. Dustin was great and was here exactly when he said he would be. That doesn't happen very often! He took some pictures showed me the problem and said it was a fix I could easily do on my own but would be happy to do it if needed. Great to work with. Would use them again

John H. and Fessler are A+! Experienced a leak and a rental house and the insurance came out and wouldn't replace the roof. He worked directly with the insurance, my tenants, and myself remotely and eventually got me the entire roof replaced! Such great service - and always prompt. Just recently had to email him about a possible leak (which it wasn't - it's my window) late one evening and he came bright and early the next morning. That's service! Highly recommend

In summary, this went well. I had called Mike and reviewed the issue I was having. He was busy but committed to coming out early the following week. Well, good news, I got a call from one of his guys who was able to come out that same week, and at 5:00 in the evening no less. They quickly found the issue, showed me pictures of it that they took via cell phone and gave me a quote. The price seemed reasonable and they also inspected the remainder of my roof while they were making the repair. Thankfully no other issues but definitely peace of mind. Really like the cell phone picture idea as well. It's not like I'm going to climb on the roof... All told, an hours work and a job well done. Would definitely consider using these guys again
Very professional job and could not be more pleased with the installation. Mr.goodroof I would use again and would recommend to anyone needing a roof or Windows replaced.
Lowry Roofing went above our expectations on every level. I had no prior knowledge or awareness of Lowry Roofing, who they were, or the quality of their work. In fact, I'd never heard of them. Yet we did need a roof, but I'll admit, I was hesitant, just from not knowing who they were. So, I did quite a bit of online research on roofing scams before offering the job to Lowry Roofing. I actually even paid for a subscription to Angie's List just so that I could read reviews on Lowry Roofing!! I figured that being out a little money was well worth it if their reviews were poor. I spent probably 2 hours online looking at reviews, "how to avoid roofing scams" websites, Better Business Bureau sites, etc. Why We Chose Them Instead Of Bids From Other Roofing Companies: Intense Professionalism. Every single one of their employees carried themselves with honor and class. They came to our door with shirts tucked in, they were well-spoken, and had a look and feel that let me know they were serious about what they do and that they took pride in their work. Communication. Justin Lowry (owner) could not have communicated the workflow any better than they did. They were humble and sincere. From text messages, phone calls, and personal appearances, they kept our family 100% in the loop at all times; almost daily actually. Justin came to our multiple times to keep us informed. Moreover, they communicated with us in terms of what to expect in this process as far as how claims work, what to expect in terms of paperwork with our agent, adjuster, how payment works, and so on. No Sub-Contractors. Lowry is a rare breed, now that I've done some homework about roofing companies. Most roofers use sub-contractors to actually put the roof on the home. An owner bids the job, and then hires subs to do it. Not Lowry. They have paid employees. The difference is massive, because subs, while often doing good work, can be inconsistent in terms of job completion, skill level, various levels of experience, etc. By using the same people, Lowry has a true team. It made all the difference. Advocacy With The Insurance Company. I think this area, specifically, is what separated Lowry Roofing from other groups I know of in the roofing world. I am convinced that Lowry Roofing's work in this area is the major reason why we got our roof claim successfully filed with our insurance agent. Here's the quick backstory: for the past two years we've had roofers come by our home speaking of potential storm damage, so we thought we'd better go ahead and file a claim. About 18 months ago, we filed a claim and our adjuster said our roof was fine and saw no real reason to replace it. However, several different roofing companies since that time have said we did in fact have enough damage to file a claim. When Justin came to my door, they said, " No matter what you do, never have an adjuster out to your home unless you have a roofer on-site. Not because insurance companies are corrupt, because they are not all that way; it's just that with a roofer on hand, they must justify everything to you with a roofer present in the conversation who can advocate for you and give you their opinion of what the adjuster is offering." I'm telling you, that's what did it. Our adjuster was great, and we've been with our insurance agent for 17 years, but this time, with this claim, everything went so smoothly. Lowry Roofing gave us peace of mind that we had an advocate, standing between us and an insurance corporation, and that they would do everything they could to make this a smooth process. Under-Promise and Over-Deliver. Justin Lowry never, ever promised me a roof. He never promised anything other than that they would do their best. They said they would do their best to help with working with an insurance agent and adjuster. They never made huge promises, but they did ask me that "if we can work with the adjuster to advocate for you, then would you give us the job if the claim is successful?" My response was, "Absolutely." Once the job was finished, we were more than pleased. They over-delivered on quality, work flow, communication, and even clean up. Our yard looked super upon cleanup; it was as if they were never there. If I had it to do again, I'd never, ever hesitate to have them put a roof over my family's head
They are real nice. They are a little pricey but they were very professional. The guy that owns the company has been in this area for about 30 years. They recommended the proper installation methods for roofing instead of doing a quick and dirty job. They took the time to explain to me the differences in the types installation, and if I didn't choose them to make sure I looked for certain things in a company. He was a little late, but we had our name spelled wrong. He did make contact though. I would call him again for another quote
My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's disease and had a scare one night when she answered the door to a stranger and her caregiver hadn't heard the doorbell. We asked Wheeler to then come in to install an additional doorbell in the back of her house. We were pleased with their work and will absolutely use them again

My experience with this contract was just great. I will definitely use them again. They were very professional. They did everything they said they would do. They stayed on schedule and everything turned out great.
Cody was fantastic to work with from start to finish. I have a very busy schedule and he was flexible, prompt and professional. Cody handled the entire process starting with the estimate, working with the insurance company and verifying the final work. The work was scheduled and completed all within a few weeks. They did an excellent job on the roof replacement and cleaned up everything from the job. Cody did an excellent job of communicating changes and providing updates as the work was being done. I highly recommend At the Top Roofing

In that we decided to use another company is no reflection on Shamrock. They were responsive, courteous and we would not hesitate to contact in the future should our needs change. We needed a repair, but are looking to a new roof in the not so distant future and in that Shamrock does not do complete roofing we decided to use another company that may serve our needs should we need a new roof
They did a fantastic job on my roof in 2 days. His employees were cordial, professional, and all taxpayers. He is a licensed contractor. He is reasonably priced because he keeps his costs low.
