I have a 1935 home with lathing and plaster construction and over the years cracks have appeared throughout the house due to settling and systemic activity during the construction of the 440 bypass. Instead of covering all of it up with drywall, Felipe was able to repair the plaster and patch in some places and now looks as good as new. It has been a year since then and no cracks have reappeared and all of the repair areas are indiscernible with the original plaster. Felipe was prompt, honest, and did great work at a fair price. I would recommend him

I have been using Nash Painting for years. Bill and his crew are amazing and I am always thrilled with their work. This was a smaller project-- just one room-- and they did some minor plaster repair and two coats of paint in one day. They are meticulous about prepping and cleaning up and are a pleasure to have around. I will continue to use them as long as they're around! ** I gave them a "B" for price because I'm sure I could find someone who charges less, but I find the price to be perfectly justified by the quality of their work

Excellent experience. Thom came on short notice, gave a fair price, and was available shortly after to repair our walls. The wall was peeled by accident and it was a complete mess, so we called Thom and he came and did a fantastic job our our bathroom wall. Great! Denny's employee John arrived on time to look at the house and followed up with a quote via email a few hours later. He recommended a couple stores where I could select paint colors. The quote had pricing broken down so I could add or remove items to fit my budget. I picked out my colors and sent him the paint codes. Scheduling was easy and the job was completed on time the next week. Despite me choosing colors from different brands, John made sure everything he used were higher grade materials that matched my samples. The color-matches are perfect! Ultimately I decided to do the closets myself to stay within budget and make it a DIY project. The price I paid includes all prep, materials, and labor. The paintwork looks great; all the trims and edges are very tidy. I will definitely use these guys the next time I need something painted

Nate did the best work of any person I've hired for anything in Nashville for the past 6 years. He was polite, kept everything clean somehow despite all the sanding etc., punctual, no stories, no fussing, no problems. He did a very thorough job, with a decent number of visits, and did everything properly. He primed before painting, and both walls look like new now. Couldn't recommend Nate more highly!!!! Mabry Drywall LLC
We contacted Mabry Drywall on the recommendation of a friend who is a contractor, because our living room ceiling was damaged, cracked, and sagging away from the ceiling joists. The contractor told us that the ceiling looked dangerously close to collapsing into our living room and that we needed to have it replaced immediately or braced to prevent it from falling until it could be replaced. Unfortunately, the worst area was right above the couch where we sit every day! The initial call was made to Jerry Mabry on the day before Thanksgiving. He agreed to come out to look at the ceiling and do an estimate on the day after Thanksgiving. Kenneth Mabry came out on Friday to look at the damage and Jerry called with an estimate that evening. Over the weekend, they provided an emailed estimate. They were able to fit us into their schedule to begin the work on Wednesday 11/26/12. The demolition went as planned and the new ceiling was hung on the first day. The hardwood floors were protected during the job and the insulation and debris from the demolition was hauled off. They came back over the next couple of days and mudded in the ceiling and the gap between the new ceiling and plaster walls. The finisher followed with sanding of the textured plaster walls, followed by skim coating of the walls and more sanding. This is a family owned business and both the owners and all workers were pleasant and experienced. They did excellent work and we're very pleased with the way our living room looks. The ceiling is very flat and was finished exceptionally well, so there are no visible seams or marks. We're also very happy that they were able to expedite getting the ceiling replaced so quickly, as it was a very dangerous situation. We would definitely use their services again in the future

He had to get into the plaster, and finished by painting, that looked better than before. I am going to have him come back out to repair another ceiling for me soon. Randy patched a big square hole in my bath ceiling. Now you cant even tell there was ever a problem. Ive used him several times and he always does a great job. He also did some plaster work for me several years ago. Again it was a great job. Now hes repairing around a shower that I just put in and it looks great! I cant recommend him enough

This work was so bad, the walls had to be repaired and re-dry walled in all areas, stair railings had to be stripped and re-stained, new kitchen cabinets had to be repaired, ceilings had to be re-plastered. Paint had to be scraped off pre-existing hardwood floors. Door casements that were stained and not to be painted were painted and had to be stripped and re-stained. Professionals coming in to repair damage said they had never seen anything quite so bad. This was a disaster

My picky husband took a flashlight and shined it sideways along the drywall to look for bad spots; he found two tiny spots in all that square footage and Jimmy immediately fixed them. Jimmy did a fabulous job. He's been in the business for over 30 years and is a craftsman. He's pretty much on his own, with someone to help when needed, so he may not be the fastest to return your call, but he'll get back to you. He's very pleasant to be around. He's a hard worker; he recently covered ALL of the plaster in a 1927 home with over 250 sheets of drywall. I taped off doorways in the dining room expecting drywall dust to be everywhere, but he uses a vacuum sander; there was a little dust remaining on the floor, but not much. He fixed some other places in the kitchen that we had not asked him to repair. He's very honest; we give him the code to the door lock and let him do his job

Skill Supply did give me a quote. It seems reasonable. He was knowledgeable. But, we have not used him yet. He was here the next day. He was very thorough. It is in the ball park, it is a little on the high side. He is a stand up guy. When we decide to get the work done, we will probably use him.

Generally it went well. The job was completed a little late because they did not pay attention to the days I told them I had to be out of town. I am happy with the result, though. I decided to write this report to alert you to one problem. We had the job estimated and contracted. During the job, we changed color with the painting. They had estimated one coat of paint, and now it was going to require two. I knew I would have to pay more, and I was expecting a few hundred dollars. They gave me an estimate for the additional painting--it was $4400. I said I thought that was too much, so Dave said he would check back with the painter. They came back with $3100. I still thought that was too much, so I told them to complete the job as contracted, and I would get another painter to finish. They did, and I then got a painter, one that I had used several times before, to complete the job. The cost was $365, including the paint. I'm not sure why that came down as it did, but I would make sure you have all your work in the contract before you start when you deal with this company. I have the receipts and will be happy to show them

I liked everything about this company. He was punctual and clean, as far as the work he did and he cleaned up his mess everyday. There were a couple of problems and he worked right through them. It was easy for him to work around other contractors. Once I hired him, I did not have to worry about him or think about him. I mean, he was here and did his work and gone, where as other contractors I kind of had to hold their hand a little bit. With him, I did not have to be around, I did not have to ask him to fix anything. He was good, he was thorough and he took initiatives, and he did not have to call me constantly saying, well what do you want to do here or here. He kind of did above and beyond what he had originally quoted me for and he did some extra work to make the job correct.
