2 weeks to get estimate, then 6 weeks to get work done. A lot of damage done inside during the delay. Initially I was told it would be fixed in 2 weeks total. They applied the roof and it held 1.5 inches of water at all times. Don Kennedy himself said this was acceptable, even though the estimate said they would change the slope. He wanted to charge more for them to fix the slope and drainage. It's a good thing I had not yet paid them, as Don does not think insuring proper drainage is part of installing a roof. I'm sure getting him to make good on his guarantee would be impossible

Great customer service. Dustin came out for the quote and we walked the roof and he listened to my concerns and explained the two types of flat roof options. He took his time and I felt like he wanted to make sure all of my concerns were heard. He did the quote on the computer in his truck and gave it to me before leaving which was nice. The crews came out and did a great job installing the roof and making sure any areas that could have leaks were addressed and properly done. They were proactive in making sure they did the job right and didn't cut any corners. Dustin came back out a few days after the project was complete to walk the roof again and inspect the work and answer any questions or concerns I had which again is great customer service. I will use these guys when I need a full new roof

I had problems getting other contractors to give me an estimate or respond to questions regarding estimates that I had been given. (I think that it may have been due to the fact that this was a "small" job.) I called Bone Dry and they were prompt to come and give me written estimate. I did not make a decision right away as I was trying to get other estimates. Bone Dry was the only contractor that followed up to see if I was still interested in them completing the work. (They actually contacted me twice over a months time to follow up.) I did think that their estimate was reasonable. The work crew arrived as schedule and completed the job much quicker than I anticipated. However, I do think the work was done correctly. I had a couple of "special" problems that had to be addressed during the completion of the project but the crew was able to address them without any delays. Jeanne Penticuff (the Office Manager) and Billy Fitzwilson (the General Manager? & the person who performed the estimate) were both very friendly and easy to work with during the completion of this project. Overall, I am very pleased with the work that was completed as well as their friendly customer service. As I mentioned that I had problems getting contractors to respond/reply, this fact will not be forgotten when the time comes to replace the rest of the roof on my house. I have a "very" large roof area (i.e. 3,000+ sq. ft.) that will need to be replaced in a few years, and Bone Dry will definitely be at the top of my list of contractors to consider for this work

In bidding I had asked for 1/2" slopped foam, but that quote was much higher. They obviously didn't want to do it that way even though it would have improved my runoff and avoidance of puddling. They removed and replaced half of it with a team of 3 one day, skipped a day due to threat of rain, and then finished the second half and the band around the edge on the third day. Estimate, quote, and billing were very professional. Especially when compared with four other estimators who inspired very little confidence

Alecko came out initially to give us a bid. We asked him to come back again as one of our "finalists" which he did. After we decided to go with them, we had a few more details to hammer out (other things we wanted included on the bid in writing etc.) & Alecko was very responsive, eager to work with us & eager to please. We were then preliminarily scheduled & work began shortly after the initial date (weather). Alecko stopped by periodically to check on the work. When all work was finished, we asked Alecko to come back one more time so that we could go through step by step what had been done & make sure all was well. We even had a couple things we still wanted done & he finished up the job that day to our satisfaction

From the first phone call with Jeanne, at their office, to waving good-bye to the crew as they finished the job and left our home...it was entirely pleasant, easy with great communication. We were about to lose our homeowner's insurance due to an old roof that needed replacing. We were in a VERY time sensitive situation. Billy Fitzwilson, with Bone Dry Roofing, was the first to come out and give us an estimate and offered us all the services we needed for the best price. We did get other estimates but nobody compared to them. When we called to set a date for their services they remembered that we had a deadline and promised to do their best to help us keep our homeowner's insurance. Not only did it snow the night before they were to come do the job but it was still snowing that morning. We didn't expect them to come but Dustin Sullivan called me that morning and said that he and his crew would be at our home as soon as the snow let up. The next thing I know they were here and doing the job. They were so considerate of our home and yard...they even cleaned the attic before they left! At one point I thought our yard looked like a war zone but when they left you would never have known they had been here except for the beautiful new roof on our home! I really can't say enough about Bone Dry Roofing....they totally came to our rescue and we couldn't be happier about the whole experience with them

Mr. Novak worked diligently with my insurance company to resolve a disputed offer by the insurance company to just repair my storm damaged roof, as opposed to the replacement that was needed. He personally stayed involved and maintained contact with my insurance adjusted and me, making multiple trips to my residence to obtain shingle samples and other information required by the insurance company until the dispute and the needed roof replacement was agreed upon. Once the go ahead was authorized, his crew arrived on the day and time agreed and completed the job as planned. Upon completion the crew thoroughly cleaned the lawn and drive to remove all debris and nails that had fallen as a result the removal of the original material. Since the replacement I've received several compliments from neighbors regarding the appearance of the new roof. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Novak and his company to anyone needing an honest and competent roofing contractor. Larry Jone

Overall, Noe did a good job and was a nice man. He eagerly takes on tough projects that most handymen aren't willing to tackle due to complexity or most small contractors aren't willing to perform due to small scale. The ceiling repair (roof leak, air duct, drywall, & paint) in the bedroom and concrete repair on the front porch both look seamless and as good as new. He also completed some other small jobs around the exterior of the house and even pointed out some issues himself that I was happy to have him fix

The original contact was fine - we set up a time for a free estimate the next day. He had to reschedule last minute due to a meeting in Nashville. He was later than estimated getting out of that meeting so it put a hitch in my plans - but it was ok and he kept in touch with me. Those things happen. That's why I ranked a 'B' on punctuality. My husband hadn't told me to ask about installing gutter screens so I wound up texting a lot with him to get a price and see if that could be done the same day as the repair to the roof vent/boot. They were able to do that - no problem. It was nice that he'd given me his number and we were able to text and get that handled. He texted me the morning of the job to let me know the worker was on his way and had to make one stop to pick up something. The worker was at my house within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. I didn't mind that - no problem there. Work was done within about 2 hours. Worker was nice and polite. After he got all the leaves & junk out of the gutters he came back around the house and our back deck and blew the debris away without me having to ask. I appreciated that. There was a LOT of stuff everywhere and we don't have a blower. I looked up in the attic around the roof vent and no longer see daylight - cool. So overall good job and I'd use them again

Each year it's the same service man so he's familiar with the unit. He knows what to expect. They keep computerized records on everything so the years he has to replace the filter, he already had the filter with him so he doesn't need to go purchase anything. They're customer friendly
