Dryer was said to be repaired for 217.00. We were able to dry 2 loads and it quick working. When we started the first load there was a different noise in dryer and we called about that. Calvin did answer the phone promptly and said he only replaced the part and stranger things have happened. On the day of the repair He did not only replace the part he actually said he also cleaned the dryer of dust and lint. Could this have caused the strange noise? Since then I have made numerous calls and text and have yet to hear from this company agai

Based on a very positive previous experience with a refrigerator repair, I contacted Floyd for a dryer repair on Monday, 4/1.. He was to call me that night or next day to tell of appointment time.I explained then that I would have to leave at 1:00 the next day. At approximately 10:00, Tuesday, 4,2, I was contacted to say he would be here between 11 - 1:00 that day. I explained again that sounded good but I had to leave at 1:00. He did not show nor call by 1:00. I contacted him at 1:00 to say I had to leave and we agreed I would contact upon my return. I phoned and left a voice message at approximately 5:00 to set up appointment for Wednesday, April 3. I have not heard from the company and have since called another A rated Angies List company and they have come out and fixed my problem and on their way

It didn't.... they didn't show up - TWICE. I arranged to be off of work on Friday for a scheduled appointment window of 8am-5pm. Throughout the day using the online "track your technician" web tool, I watched as it slipped and slipped until the last estimate was he would arrive at 6:45PM - never showed up or called - no communication. Called first thing Saturday morning to reschedule and was told I'd be moved to a priority call on Monday, since they missed the call on Friday. I just spoke to them (call center agent who only can "send a message" dispatch) and found out that my appointment is the last on the route for today - scheduled arrival time 5:45pm .... well appointments are only available 8am-5pm, so.... my guess is today is another no show. Now 2 days off from work and no Sears technician... NEVER again will I consider Sears for any appliance repair. It's a shame they have squandered what was one of the most prestigious brands in American history. No wonder they teeter on the brink of bankruptcy...... well they won't get my money to help them out

The day before the appointment we received a voice mail that we had been scheduled for 3-5 pm the next day, the ONLY time that day we couldn't meet the technician. We called to get an earlier time but we were told "the technicians are all scheduled at specified times requested by the customer several days ago." When we asked why we also couldn't get a preferred time, as we had made our appointment SIX days before, they relented, scheduling us for late morning. When the technician came the only problem was a high temperature thermostat, basically a small fuse. The cost of the part was so small they didn't even charge us for it. The technician was at our house about 40 minutes. He DID do a VERY thorough job, but the cost was over $240! We live about 5 minutes from A-1. We had been told on the phone the cost would be a $109 trip charge plus parts and labor. That seemed fine, but as it turned out, with the parts cost of $0, the labor cost amounted to over $130 for less than 40 minutes, close to $200 an hour. That does seem exorbitant! We have previously been pleased with A-1 for appliance purchases, but we won't use A-1 again for service
They had an appointment made with me and failed to show, which inconvenienced me. I got back in touch with them and made a second appointment, but they were an hour and a half late -- however I did get a call letting us know they would be late. Due to being busy with remodeling projects, we accidentally missed their calls

To begin with, ,my call to this company was great, the company rep answering the call was very helpful and scheduled me at the time and day I needed to fit into my work schedule. The service tech was actually a little early which is awesome , they told me window was between 3 and 4:30 but he called just before 3 and was only a block away. He was very nice and professional. He took time to show me what had happened to start the problem and what he needed to do to correct the issue. He took the food out of the freezer, cleared out some ice that had accumulated under the freezer floor, put it back together and even put the food back in the freezer although I told him I would do that . He made sure the refrigerator was cooling before he left. He quoted the price before starting to work and emailed me the receipt before leaving. I had pretty much resolved myself to the fact that I would have to buy a new frig but this one is working just great now. I have nothing buy great words for this company, I would definitely recommend this company and will certainly be using them again as needed

It was great. Gary showed up at the time that he said he would, he had the part with him,and was done in less than an hour. He was also very polite and gave me alot of extra info on my washer, and the price was great. I will definitely you him again.
It took several times out to identify our fridge was leaking. Turns out the water line was leaking, which also broke our ice machine. After multiple additional trips out, they were able to repair everything. Overall, they service providers were knowledgeable but not well prepared.
