David Kendall has come out twice in the last 3-4 years to fix two different problems with my 2005 dryer - I can't remember what or when exactly - and it's been a while since the last time (which is good - he fixes them right!). He is so nice! When I called he first helped me troubleshoot easy stuff that might be causing the problem (no charge). Then he made a guess about what was wrong based on my description over the phone and gave me an estimate of what it would cost (total) before we made an appointment for him to come out. He came out within two days of my call (they weren't emergencies) and was exactly on time, calling to let me know he was coming. In both cases he was right on with his diagnostics over the phone and both jobs - with parts and labor - were about $100 with no extra service call charges. He's a great helpful polite professional and quot;old-fashionedand quot; local repairman who takes pride in his work and his business and doesn't charge outrageous prices for the work. He inspired my confidence and trust in him from that first phone call when he just wanted to help me fix the problem rather than get me on the hook for a service call. Who does that kind of classy personal service anymore? Kendall's repair is a true Nashville treasure. You won't be disappointed.

I had a dryer repaired and Floyd was great. When he discovered that the job called for a part he didn't have in the truck, he went downtown to the parts store and was back and the dryer was fixed same day. I couldn't have asked for better service.

Dryer was said to be repaired for 217.00. We were able to dry 2 loads and it quick working. When we started the first load there was a different noise in dryer and we called about that. Calvin did answer the phone promptly and said he only replaced the part and stranger things have happened. On the day of the repair He did not only replace the part he actually said he also cleaned the dryer of dust and lint. Could this have caused the strange noise? Since then I have made numerous calls and text and have yet to hear from this company again

Nick was someone you might ask to house sit, trustworthy. He wasted no time with the diagnosis and repair, and responsibly recommended getting the dryer vent cleaned before using the dryer to avoid another repair. The only "negative" was he was so pleasant that I don't want to have to deal with any other tech.

Based on a very positive previous experience with a refrigerator repair, I contacted Floyd for a dryer repair on Monday, 4/1.. He was to call me that night or next day to tell of appointment time.I explained then that I would have to leave at 1:00 the next day. At approximately 10:00, Tuesday, 4,2, I was contacted to say he would be here between 11 - 1:00 that day. I explained again that sounded good but I had to leave at 1:00. He did not show nor call by 1:00. I contacted him at 1:00 to say I had to leave and we agreed I would contact upon my return. I phoned and left a voice message at approximately 5:00 to set up appointment for Wednesday, April 3. I have not heard from the company and have since called another A rated Angies List company and they have come out and fixed my problem and on their way.

It didn't.... they didn't show up - TWICE. I arranged to be off of work on Friday for a scheduled appointment window of 8am-5pm. Throughout the day using the online "track your technician" web tool, I watched as it slipped and slipped until the last estimate was he would arrive at 6:45PM - never showed up or called - no communication. Called first thing Saturday morning to reschedule and was told I'd be moved to a priority call on Monday, since they missed the call on Friday. I just spoke to them (call center agent who only can "send a message" dispatch) and found out that my appointment is the last on the route for today - scheduled arrival time 5:45pm .... well appointments are only available 8am-5pm, so.... my guess is today is another no show. Now 2 days off from work and no Sears technician... NEVER again will I consider Sears for any appliance repair. It's a shame they have squandered what was one of the most prestigious brands in American history. No wonder they teeter on the brink of bankruptcy...... well they won't get my money to help them out.
