They provided timely information and diagrams in response to our HOA's questions. Installer, Dustin, showed up on time for every appt from estimate, repairing cracks in foundation, installing & painting remediation/vent system, to post-remediation radon testing. He is a top-notch professional and perfectionist. I interviewed and got estimates from two additional radon remediators, whose level of knowledge of radon/remediation and EPA standards, communication, competence, and professionalism did not compare to Dustin's. However, Advanta Clean of West Nashville's estimate/cost was comparable to those of the other radon remediation companies. We are in the process of selling our house and the buyers requested radon mitigation. I called two different companies including Tennessee Radon Services. The other company did not have any openings for a couple weeks, but Casey with Tennessee Radon Services was able to get to my house within a couple days. His scope of work and bid was exactly what I was expecting, so I did not bother with getting another bid. The work was scheduled for 1.5 weeks later and he showed up as expected. Casey (the owner) did the work himself. He cleaned up after himself and the system looks very professionally done. An added benefit is that the crawl space portion of our unfinished basement has a brand new vapor barrier that really cleaned the place up. I would highly recommend Tennessee Radon Services, and we already plan on using him to mitigate our radon at the house we are moving to next month. The cost of installation included all equipment, labor, warranty, and a third party radon test three days later to confirm that levels have been reduced

I needed to have my house tested for Radon. I found this company on Angie's List, and first talked with the owner (Keith) on the phone about coming out to do a Radon test in my home. He was very punctual, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. He explained in detail how the testing equipment worked, and answered my numerous questions about Radon. After the testing equipment sat in my home for a couple of days, Keith came back to give me the results and pick up the equipment. Luckily the Radon levels were very low, and I didn't need to have anything else done to remedy any Radon problems. He also checked the crawl space underneath the house for mold. Keith is a very honest professional who I would recommend to anyone needing their home checked for Radon or mold issues. My thanks to him for all his great expertise

We contacted Keith the owner of Franklin Environmental Services for an estimate for the radon mitigation due to high level radon present in the home inspection on overall avg. of 10.5 pCi/L. Keith come by on schedule with good commutation with us all the time and email us the estimate the follow day. He is very knowledgeable in the field and explain to us with great detail on the system design. Keith and his crews were very friendly and professional. We discussed on how the piping goes with different options. He was very pleasant to work with and also follow up the project with us such as further secured the fan out door, re-inspection of radon level with digital readout. I found Mr. Taylor's information in EPA website for radon remediation system. He is one of few certified expert in the middle TN. He and his crew did great job on the vapor barrier. Even though the radon level is still under testing process, I believe he did correct job on it. I will come back to report the level of before-and-after when winter is coming.( For educational purpose, the radon level in winter time is higher than summer time according to my google-research

Our home had a passive radon system installed when it was built. After purchasing a Corentium Home Radon Detector and testing for a couple of months, we found that our long-term readings averaged in the mid 4 pCis. Short-term readings varied daily, at times close to 7 pCi. Since action is advised above 4 pCi, we contacted Keith for a consultation. Keith was punctual and recommended that we turn our passive system into an active one. Keith did everything he could to ensure that our installation was properly completed. After installation, he tested the radon levels in our home. Not only did this validate our readings, it also ensured the fan was working properly. Keith was a pleasure to work with, and we would work with him again. The picture attached shows the readings before installation and over a month later based on our radon detector (which the numbers s/b slightly lower as calibrated against Keith's radon detector)

Keith and his crew are fantastic. Our levels were over 40 pCi/L and we were concerned our radon levels were too high to be fixed. We had another radon mitigation company out to give us an estimate before we talked to Keith and they told us ours was probably just too high to be fixed, which is horrible news for a homeowner to hear. But Keith assured us that it could be fixed and he would keep working on our house until he got it below 4 pCi/L, so we went with him and I am so thankful we did. Ours was not an easy job - despite the high radon levels themselves, we have an old house built over a dirt cellar which is full of nooks and crannies. They installed a vapor barrier over the entire space plus the radon mitigation system, and after about a week of work our number fell to below 2 pCi/L. Keith and his crew are top notch and we will recommend them to anyone who needs radon mitigation

The project manager seemed knowledgable. We received a bid, and while we thought it was on the high side, we felt like the company's reputation and the fact that we were told it would take nearly two days to complete the work justified the expense. It took 3 guys one 8 hour day. $1800? Really? Hard to see us as getting a value given that materials could not have been more than $200. The work included revising the soil in front of the house so it would slope properly to help keep water off the foundation. This work was completed. The team actually buried the water faucet on the front of the house under half a foot of clay. The professional thing to do would have been to discuss the issue with me and talk about rational solutions to the problem. Instead, they just buried it. They also did a mediocre job with the drainage pipe along the side of the house, doing nothing to secure it so it would keep our narrow driveway usable. In both instances, it was abundantly clear that they could have cared less about the quality of the work done. Time will tell if the mold mitigation work was done properly. It's hard to be confident it was given the willingness to cut a big corner in burying our faucet. This qualifies as one of the worst home maintenance experience of our lives

As part of the home buying process, we procured BJK Property Inpsections to perform both a home inspection and a radon test. Bill Gunther was informative during the actual inspection and very willing to share his knowledge. The report summarizing the home inspection was intuitive with just the right combination of text, photos, and 'classification' of the various inspection items (e.g. Major Concern, Safety Issue, Information, etc). This home inspection was very thorough and useful during the due diligence period of the home buying process. We did purchase the house, and we also plan on utilizing the home inspection as a checklist for future repairs/improvements

Steve did a home inspection of a condo I was buying. It was very thorough and informative. He pointed out problems with several items on the property. During the inspection he gave a good explanation of what he was looking for and how important it was to check or fix. Then he offered many suggestions to get the electrical and plumbing up to current code since the property was 30 years old. His final report was a very detailed 28-page PDF report. It was valuable when negotiating with the seller and it was helpful to make minor improvements after moving it

Wonderfully. Benjamin is extremely thorough. He explained his observations, answered questions fully and patiently. He provided an exhaustive report. I had a couple of follow up questions and he returned my calls promptly. There was some confusion about a septic inspection that had affected his fee. He had overcharged, but told me about the error and its reason and immediately sent me the refund. His inspection includes radon and termite testing, so his fee may be higher than those charged by other inspectors, but you're getting a package deal. He did add an additional charge of $140 for coming down to Murfreesboro. The cost was completely worth it. The cost of service here doesn't include the additional charge
