Nashville Pocket Door Installation

Jason was wonderful to work with. He was happy to come back and finish up a few things that there was some confusion about even after he had been paid for the job. I’ve never had a contractor do that before and I appreciate his patience since the confusion was mainly on our part, not Jason’s.

There was some delay in ordering and receiving the replacement door and screens from the manufacturer, after placing the order with Home Depot. Once the new door was installed, the interior was stained to match existing woodwork, which took some time and testing but resulted in an excellent match. The existing hardware was also installed on the new door so that the lock and key matched the other doors. Additionally, water-damaged wood above the gutter next to the replaced door was replaced and painted. While the contractor was working on this original job, I requested that he give me a quote to extend a wooden fence on my property line, and that project was added to the list and completed within a few weeks. He came on time or called if delayed. He and his assistant were cheerful and courteous, and cleaned up any mess that they made. I've used this contractor several times and have been pleased with the price, service and results.

Mike always showed up when he said he would. He listened to every request and complied happily when we made a few changes. He was neat with his work and persistent in solving a difficult tile job. We really appreciated his work and attention to detail.I'd be happy to provdie pictures of his work. The work did take twice as long as he projected, but we were prepared for it to take a little longer. Mike did all of the work with the exception of building the vanity.

I like them. They are affordable and Steve, who is one of the owners, was really nice. They're very responsive and really friendly. They get their work done on time and for the price that I quoted.

Last year, slate floors were installed in the kitchen. The previous bi-fold doors which were connected on a track at the top and a track at the bottom drilled into the floor were removed. I purchased replacement doors and then was told that the only way to install them would be drilling holes in the slate floor. Not wanting to do this, I spent several weeks searching for an alternative and again was told that it could not be done. On the verge of giving away the new doors, I decided to try one more time. That is when I contacted Randy Worley. He responded promptly with a timely appointment. He and his son quickly, expertly, and professionally installed the doors with no holes drilled into the slate floor. I highly recommend them and would definitely use their services again.

I had purchased the door and casing - and was gonna try to do it, myself - but decided to call Joe Kutsko to see if he could do it, instead. He agreed, sent me a quote and performed the service, exceptionally, within only a couple days notice!! Great folks, great work!! This is our second engagement with Fixin' To Repair, Inc. and I'm sure I'll use them, again!!

Geary is very pleasant and professional. He arrived on time and worked quickly. He minimized the mess and cleaned up when the job was done. The final price was exactly what he quoted in the estimate. The quality of his work is excellent and he doesn't cut corners which we appreciate very much. We will absolutely contact him again for future work.

Sales rep (David) was great - very professional. Installation was difficult, but the install crew worked tirelessly and cheerfully for 8 hours to make it right. Love my new door.

Ron was great. He called He called before arriving and arrived when he said he would be here. He did a nice job and I would definitely hire him again.

Geary was excellent. His busy schedule required us to book his services months in advance, but it was definitely worth the wait. His professionalism, punctuality, and craftsmanship were endless. His work in the bathroom is now the centerpiece of the house (newly tiled shower wall, floor, sink, toilet, bead board, new hardware, new lighting fixtures). He consulted us on all necessary decisions, was considerate about our time, and worked diligently. He spent nearly two weeks working on our home, was excellent with our dogs, and had an eye for wonderful finishes. I would absolutely hire him again.
