GOODMAN TILE AND MARBLE

very detail oriented and courteous. Very upfront and honest about the cost and very fair. When he left, I noticed a scratch on my hardwood foyer floor resulting from the work. Jeremy bent over backwards to pay for the repairs and replacement of the floor area. He left me a quart of expensive sealer to reseal my backsplash in 2 years. I will definitely use this company again

Carpet install went smoothly. No problems. Moved large pieces of furniture when needed. Responsiveness was Good, but I gave excellent because they appear to be moving into their Cool Springs/Brentwood location.

They were terrible and I would not use them again. My decorator found them but I have to find someone else to come and fix all of the baseboards. They are nice when you go in but they don’t guarantee the installers. The first room they did was fine but then it took three weeks for them to come do more work. He would call and say he was on his way but then not show up and I ended up paying the decorator to stay and wait for this man but he never came. I wrote a letter saying that they needed to make this right and that’s when they told me they did not guarantee their workers

When I called Corlew and Petty for estimate they were prompt. Estimator gave me a price and said repairman would call me directly to set up a time. He came as scheduled and was awesome. This company did not install floors originally and in hindsight I wish I would have used them to begin with.

In 1975 a previous owner of our home did a remodeling job that included adding a master bedroom off the back side of the house. Because the property slopes down from the front to the rear of the property, this bedroom is about 10 feet above ground. Underneath the bedroom is our carport. Wall-to-wall carpeting was laid throughout the main living area, including the master bedroom. Over the last several years I had taken up the carpeting in the house, everywhere except this master bedroom. Well, after 39 years, the carpet was getting pretty tired. Also, it is a good dust collector. So, we decided to replace it with a new floor. A bit of evaluation showed that installing new flooring would first require ripping out the carpet and padding, then removing the particleboard underneath. This was more work than I wanted to do on my own, so I went to Angie's List and searched for flooring companies with high ratings. Since we wanted to look at samples and go over options, we limited our choices to companies that also had a brick-and-mortar store where we could handle samples and talk about options. We looked at various floor materials, such as laminate, hardwood (e.g., oak), engineered wood, and processed wood such as stranded bamboo, and eucalyptus. We compared nail-down, glue-down, and floating. We did not want glue-down because of the chemical vapors. We settled on a floating floor, and selected stranded bamboo that has been processed to increase its density and hardness. A floating floor can also be laid over a cushioning material, such as cork, which adds insulation (both thermal and acoustic) and provides a softer feel when walked on. Two companies provided quotes for the work. Initially the two quotes were within a few hundred dollars of each other. Quote #1 was for a floating bamboo floor over a fiber underlayment. Quote #2, from R & S Flooring, was for a nail-down bamboo floor with only a moisture barrier underlayment. Since I wanted a floating floor, I leaned toward quote #1 even though it was the higher cost. However, when I reviewed the quotes, I discovered that quote #1 had miscalculated the square footage by about 20% less than actual. When I brought this to the attention of the provider, he agreed that it was wrong, and his quote went up by 20%. That put the dollar value at over $1000 more than quote #2. So, I contacted R & S Flooring and asked them if they would consider the proposition that I would buy all the material (flooring + underlayment) and they would install the flooring. R & S Flooring agreed, and they provided a new quote for the labor. They also gave me an installation date that was way sooner than I expected. Like, I ordered the flooring on the Monday after Black Friday (December 1) and they installed it on December 9. I ordered the bamboo from Cali Bamboo. They have a "standard" click-and-lock and a "wide plank" click-and-lock. The wide plank type is 5/8 inch thick, about 5 inches wide, and 72 inches long per plank. I got the wide plank. It has a 50 year warranty, by the way. The underlayment is Quiet ComfortPLUS, which is 1/8 inch cork with a bonded plastic moisture barrier. The bedroom is 376 square feet, and I bought 400 square feet of the bamboo flooring, plus 4 rolls of the cork underlayment (about 425 sq. ft.) for a total cost of $2291 in materials. I will note here that my total cost of materials plus labor ended up to be only $3900! (Remember quote #1? It was over $5000!) On December 9, the R & S Installer team showed up at 8:15am. Three men plus power saws and other tools. They set to work and in two hours, the carpet and particleboard were out of the bedroom. That amazed me. Then they began laying the new floor. The head guy and I went over the direction that I wanted the planks to go, and he showed me how the cork underlayment plastic layer had a way to overlap the plastic from one strip of underlayment to the next. The installer from R & S told me that I probably should have purchased more and that he might run out due to cutting and fitting. However, these installers were professionals, for sure, because they had enough to do the floor and give me about 5 planks for any repairs that might be needed down the road. After the floor was laid, they added quarter-round molding throughout the bedroom. They also put down two tee-molding pieces for two doorways, which I had neglected to purchase. These were provided at no extra cost, too. The entire floor installation was done by 3:15pm, about 7 hours after they started. Later that day, another crew came and picked up all the carpet and particleboard waste material. During the installation, someone from the R & S Flooring office called me to make sure that everything was going OK. A word about the installer crew. They were very professional. Nobody smoked, which was nice because my wife is allergic to tobacco smoke. Nobody yelled. They asked if it was all right to listen to music (I said it was OK), and the music was not loud when they did play it. They cleaned up after themselves. After the floor was installed, I was able to walk on it immediately, and it totally exceeds my expectations. I would not hesitate to hire R & S Flooring again if I ever need more work done

Scott was quick to respond to my voicemail right off the bat when I left a message to ask about getting a quote. They (Scott, Daniel and Jesse) came in and measured immediately at our request and brought sample boards from their supplier. We wanted to move fast on installing flooring and they were able to squeeze us in the following week. One of the best things about them was that they stayed in communication with us and let us know what was going on every step of the way. There were a few expected hiccups along the way and some not so expected but they were always able to handle it and make sure we were happy with the results. They really took care of us as customers and provided us with a good quality flooring at a fraction of the cost that commercial installers charge. A few side notes I want to include are extra things they did for us just to show other reviewers how personable they are: Scott tightened our front door lock without being asked and showed us that one of our bug traps had caught a brown recluse spider (we have small children) Daniel got a large stain up out of our kitchen tile that had been bugging us for years and was very good at helping us decide on color choices of flooring and whether or not to turn it (change the way the lines run) Jesse got the flooring glue off my shoe when I stepped in it accidentally. I would recommend them to my family and friends for sure

They did a fantastic job. Worked for most of the day with a three-person crew. My father was here while they worked and said they really knew their stuff and were meticulous with their work. My father was so impressed he asked for their business card.

Pretty well. There were a few things I did not like so downrated them. Understand that I really like the people I just found that he had cut the 1/4 round incorrectly and had changed the plans for the utility room without consulting me. I don't like her space planning at all. I'm better at it than she. there were so many things done that it is hard to rate because most were quite good. It is just that some were terrible and none were great

50 Floor

It over a month as the said to get the product in. The first time schedule was before a Thanksgiving, we had everything put away ready for the installers. Two showed up looked at area, they first said they didn’t have enough material, they said they’d be back in 20 minuets and never came back, not even a phone call. Our home was in total disarray as we were wanting floors done by Thanksgiving. I called the next day speaking with the General Manager, Ron Lucenta. The GM agreed that was the way it should have been handled and he’d get another crew out to install flooring. He also said he’d take money off the bill for the poor service. He wanted to send the installers out Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving which we said wouldn’t work due to us preparing Thanksgiving dinner. They came out on Nov. 28th. This crew was great & did an outstanding job. I wouldn’t recommend 50 Floor, but if you decide to then tell them you only want Tim, Juan, Wilson. If they balk on this crew, cancel quick do business with another company. I called the GM back and he became argumentative, raising his voice denying he said certain things about the service & bill. When we got the final bill there was no credits on it. I wouldn’t recommend 50 Floor to anyone and encourage all potential customers to stay away

CORLEW & PERRY FLOORING, INC.
5.0
Corlew & Perry Flooring moved the furniture themselves, so I didn't have to pay a moving company. They moved the furniture from side to side so that they matched the floors. They completed the floor in parts and were able to match the floor completely. The price was on the high end of average, but that included moving the furniture
The Lee Company technician arrived within the time window, and did a very thorough job cleaning the refrigerator coils, filters, plus. In addition, he was exceptional careful not to damage our wood floors while moving the unit. The dishwasher and disposal were also inspected and cleaned. I would definitely recommend Lee Company
Had another floor guys bail out on me last minute ... Called Flavio on a SUNDAY and he came out that evening to look at the job. Flavio advised me of my best options and gave me a solid estimate. He was able to get it done the same week. Floors look like brand new wood floors now. He left the house clean and dust free just like before the job. Highly recommend. I will use Flavio again the next time i need floor work done
Angel and his crew went above and beyond in installing our floors. Their prices were reasonable and they respected the living area. No damage and the floors are beautiful. Also, completed on time. Highly recommend.
I had originally got this flooring company from a local Nashville Realtor whom has used Carpet LadiesCo. for both residential and commercial flooring projects. I trust my Realtor and believe he would not steer me wrong - Overall great experience A+ Just wanted to let other single mothers know that working with Carpet Ladies Company ( a mobile flooring store ) was truly a wonderful experience. All the ladies with this company that I had contact with seemed to have the knowledge regarding my flooring products and to really care about the outcome of my project. The technical information was important to me since it was my first large flooring project of this kind and relocating to another home making so many decisions. With my hectic schedule they were able to bring me tons of laminate samples along with plenty of varieties of carpet styles. I highly recommend this company to family & friends who do not want to run around all over town or drag their kids into a flooring store. They make it real easy to buy flooring !! You don't just want to like your floors - you want to LOVE them & that's how I feel after my installation was done. My job was done on time and the installers even cleaned up their mess. This company is worth hiring again for any future project. Basically, you can buy and have installed the same flooring products sold at most retail stores for less money
Experience was amazing. The request for dining table was preformed in a speedy manner with excellent work done. The table is made from real wood, is very sturdy, and is one of a kind. This table will last me a life time! From the time of request to getting the final product was amazing. The builder, Matthew, pays very close attention to detail and to what you want in your home improvements. Will definitely be going back to Schanel Home Improvement every time
The team came as promised on time and prepared. The installation was done not only to our liking but above our expectations. We love their services so much that we are scheduled for further flooring treatments and we will be referring them to all of our family and friends in need of flooring services. If you need flooring services and want someone to care as deeply as you do for your home, you already found them right here!
I am very happy with every aspect of the work done. The jobs were completed surprisingly fast with immaculate attention to detail, thoroughly performed and well thought out. Bonus points for being so friendly and good with kids and dogs!
Bob and his crew recently replaced the entire hardwood floor in the living room of my beautiful historic farmhouse after some joists and part of the subfloor had rotted. This was a floor that another vendor had installed as new in 2014 (prior to my owning the home), but apparently they neglected to install a moisture barrier and this part of the house has no crawlspace. Bob quickly assessed the root of the problem, provided me with advice and options and gave a fair and reasonable estimate to repair the floor. He and the crew took the floor down to the bare dirt and replaced all joists and subfloors, then installed a new, custom hardwood floor, They then sanded the rest of the existing hardwoods throughout the downstairs and re-stained and sealed everything to a gorgeous new finish. In Bob's words, they installed 'the floors this house deserves.' Their work was meticulous with both the floors and my possessions. They moved the furniture with great care, covered the kitchen cabinets in plastic throughout the project, then vacuumed, dusted, and put everything back in its original place when they were done. From start to finish, the job took only about seven working days, with the Thanksgiving holiday in the middle. These guys are friendly, professional and hard working and I cannot say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them for any flooring or remodeling project. They are truly the best
Roni was wonderful . He responded to my request very quickly quoted me a price and was out the next day. Him and his crew got the job done in 4 or 5 hours. Very professional would hire again.
The Buffing Brothers did a fantastic job cleaning the carpets at my father's house in anticipation of his homecoming after surgery and rehab. He was literally stunned silent when he saw how much better the house looks, and he actually though I had gotten new carpet installed! These guys are fantastic and fun to work with, and I've already hired them again to do my own house. Overall a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them!!
they are amazing ; tony is on time he did a fantastic job need help in hurry and come with a short notice ; reallly did a clean job and leave the bhouse spotless
