Fine. In the process of reconnecting the electricity, an outlet was accidentally removed from the circuit. A second trip was required to connect back up the outlet. Very very expensive.

I initially found Electrical Innovations on Angie's List back in February. He had installed a new doorbell and new outlets at that time. Mr. Wade was pleasant, punctual, efficient and reasonably priced. Remembering that pleasant experience, I called him again when I needed electrical work. .I messaged him, described my issues and requested an approximate price. He replied the same day and gave me an approximate cost and we scheduled a visit. He arrived promptly on the scheduled day and time and replaced a worn out eve light switch, repaired an outside outlet (which required him going underneath my house and tracing the wiring). All issues were resolved fairly quickly and he actually charged me less than his original quote. He explained this was due to my being an Angie's List Customer. I am again pleased with Mr.Wade and Electrical Innovations.

Responded to initial trouble call (inoperable 3 way switches) with temporary repair (got light working with one switch). Asked for bid on whole service replacement and got reasonable price. Returned in a few days to do that work. Took most of day as expected but ended with all working and correctly. Asked for bid on adding an outlet and repairing addition 3way switches. Got a good price for that work on an hourly basis. Did everything asked for that visit (new outlet, 3 replacment switches) in good time.

Chris Yates with the Lee Cmpany did a great job and was very thorough. In fact, he will be coming back on Friday, Jan. 30 to change out the switch box and wiring to correct the code violation.

I called around 8pm at night when I lost all power to my home office. They were there at 10am the next morning to figure out the problem. Within 30 minutes the guy had isolated the problem and fixed it. The only complaint I would have is that I asked for an estimate to add a circuit to my office and the guy said he'd have someone come out and no one ever came out to give me the estimate. Other than that everything went well.

I have Angie's List to try to weed out providers like this. Southern Electric was scheduled to come at 1:00 on Thursday. At 2:00, I had heard nothing, so I called them. They said they were 45 minutes away. They arrived at 3:00. They left at 5:00, so the work wasn't done. They came the next afternoon, Friday, to finish, but they needed a part. That's understandable. I paid them a little over half the final cost at this point. They said the part would be in and they'd be back on Tuesday. I didn't hear from them on Tuesday at all. I called them Tuesday night and left a message. It's now after noon on Wednseday, and they STILL have not called. It's worth noting that the part they needed was easily available at the Lowes down the road.
