My old house needed to be grounded and have the wiring updated. John came out to the house and was very informative and took the time to explain the entire process. Unlike other companies we interviewed, John assured us that his team would take their time and not damage the drywall by "cutting in" the wires. I am very pleased to say that the house is completely rewired and all walls are intact, the only place that needs attention is where we put in a new fuse box, but John even saw to it we had drywall to repair it. His team was very courteous and professional. I am glad that we went with John and his team.

They were my 3rd quote for a pretty significant job (as close to a complete rewire, without being a rewire). I wanted to go with them after meeting and discussing the job with 3 different people. After identifying exactly what I needed and wanted to be done, we agreed on a price, which ultimately was done under budget.

Steven came out the day after I called to rewire a new bathroom fan. It didn’t take very long, and the price seemed reasonable. I was happy with the work.

Our attempt at installing a ceiling fan went well until we found out that the dimmer for the recessed light located 2' away from the fan was controlling both the recessed fixture and the new fan. Somewhere along the 30 years of this condo, the wiring was done incorrectly. Dale did a fabulous job installing new fan-rated outlet box and running new wiring.

Chris Polk with Polk Electric LLC did a great job on my master bathroom rewire. Not only was he on time as he promised but his work ethic and quality was some of the best I've seen as a GC. I will definitely use him again and recommend to all. Thanks Chris.

It was a pretty straightforward job and they were efficient and polite. We will be using them again to install a GFI in the crawl space, and (long-term) to rewire our entire house when we remodel.

I needed an older home (1950s) to be rewired so it complies to current codes. Especially since I was ditching the old wall heaters and having a new central heat/ac unit installed. From coordinating with the AC guy to handling necessary permits, Barnes Electric went above and beyond my exceptions. There is just really not enough room to completely describe everything James Barnes and crew did for this house. All work was performed professionally and with an obvious well rounded knowledge and respect for their craft. The end result is a 65 year old house with ALL brand new wiring that includes ALL new ceiling fixture boxes, ALL new wall outlets, ALL new light switches, two new hardwired smoke detectors and a brand new breaker box. He even threw in a couple of exterior outlets!! I couldn't be more pleased.

He was punctual and was on time. The price was competitive. He had good suggestions and ideas other than what mine were. He was responsive and professional. I would absolutely use him and he is in my neighbor's house right now.

For whatever reason, the wiring in our outlet was all wonky from before, like whoever built the house or whatever. We had electricians come and they had to rewire the outlets and install the circuit breaker.
