I purchased my current home about a year ago, the home is approximately ten years old. My crawl space had mold and a poorly installed vapor barrier. I got estimates from four contractors. Keith had the knowledge and experience to do the job correctly at a fair price. I would highly recommend him. I am satisfied with his work but if anything should change I will up date this review

in 2014 Keith and his team did the work including installing a dehumidifier. We recently noticed some water buildup around the dehumidifier. Keith came out and immediately diagnosed the problem and clean out a clogged drain and line. He also cleaned up all the water. We realized, at this time, that we had not been changing out the filter every six months per the manual. Keith apologized that he nor his team had not emphasized the importance of changing the filter regularly. The work today was six years after installation and he did charge us for the service today. Excellent job!!

Frontier Foundation & Crawl Space Repair
Logan is an excellent technician. He checked out the unit that was not working and explained it would need to be replaced and the cost for a new unit. The unit is expensive, therefore the B rating under cost, it does a good job so it needed to be replaced. The new unit was installed and we were up and running in one visit. We had a wonderful experience with Sammons Waterproofing. We had moisture problem under our house, & called 5-6 companies to come out and give us recommendations for a resolution. Chip was wonderful to work with - he took pictures & throughly explained his recommendations and our options. We felt like he honestly wanted to help us & not just sell us his services. Ultimately we chose to encapsulate our crawl space & have had no water issues since. Also, the work was completed in the time frame promised! Can't recommend them enough

It has been a couple months since Sammon's finished the job. I wanted to wait for a period of time before writing a review so that I could fully understand the results. I guess I should explain first that my crawl space is really not a crawl space in that it has a ceiling height of anywhere from 5 feet to 7 feet. Years ago I had cement poured in about 1/3 of the area to use for storage. Due to the moisture, that was a mistake and should have had Sammon's do the work then. My ignorance was too high to make that decision at the time. First let?s talk about the good. The transformation of my crawl space has been exceptional. The musty smell that used to work its way into the house is gone. The moister content in the crawl space is down to 55%. The crawl space also looks fantastic. I can now use that space for storage and a nice little shop without fear that the tools will be destroyed by rust. Because of the cement they had to jackhammer around the parameter to create space to lay the corrugated drainage pipe. This literally took them a few weeks. Way beyond what they expected I am sure but not a single complaint or attempt to charge me more. They also kept me updated on the progress through the week of the project. Ryan, the project manager, was hands on and visited regularly to keep up on the work to make sure it was done correctly. I could not say enough about Ryan. He was great to work with. Now for the bad and why I only gave them a less than perfect review. As I mentioned I did use some of the crawl space for storage. Because of the work with the jack hammer the dust created was immense. Everything was caked with dust. I have spent over 8 hours so far trying to clean off the dust from the items I had stored. It would have taken 10 minutes to throw tarps or plastic over everything that was there and 5 minutes to remove it when the job was complete. I doubt this would apply to most people but if it does you would be best to cover the items yourself. I would have but I figured, like painters, they would do that. When I noticed they did not I made another wrong assumption that they would clean it up. Overall I am happy but when I am spending my time cleaning off the dust I get frustrated that a little extra effort would have saved me so much personal time. If that was not the case they would have got a perfect review from me

Breathe Easy Mold Remediation
I did not use their service. I declined their services. They were prompt, on time, and courteous. I'll use them again if I need them. They were looking to encapsulate my crawl space, which was going to be up into thousands of dollars. I was just trying to insure that when my house was sold, that a home inspector didn't come along and say I had mold in my house or crawl space etc, which would of prevented me from selling my house until the issue was resolved. I didn't really have mold, they just wanted to come in and encapsulate your house. That wasn't needed to be done

Byron and his team were punctual and professional at all times. Byron explained clearly the planned work and was patient in listening to and answering my questions. Teresa is prompt in returning emails and always friendly on the phone. They encapsulated the crawl space and placed an industrial dehumidifer and made sure all downspouts were channeled away from the house to a point the water would drain away. They regraded a portion of my yard so that the water would flow away from the house and oversewed the area nicely with grass seed. They reinforced a small area of the wall from inside the crawl space with concrete

Crawlspace Doctor
Crawlspace Doctor accurately assessed our Crawlspace issues and gave us a complete solution to our problems. The dampness in the crawlspace had been causing our existing hardwood floors to cup. The crawlspace also smelled musty. Crawlspace doctor removed the cellulose insulation from the crawlspace walls, installed a thick plastic vapor barrier from top to bottom, sealed the existing vents (which were just letting in humid air) and then installed an HVAC air register to condition the crawl space air. Crawlspace doctor also regraded the soil near the back of our home and installed a downspout extension to route rain water away from the home. We believe all the work was done well, at a fair price, and with a good warranty - giving us peace of mind to move forward with the installation of our new flooring

Very professional. Rich is who I dealt with for the most part. Owner of the company. I Had water intrusion in crawl space. They installed French drain system in crawlspace, with 2 sump pumps to get water out. Took awhile to dry out, but did completely. Still had humidity issues, which Rich pointed out, could still be a problem after French drain was installed. A year or so later, they installed a dehumidifier in crawl space, which solved humidity issues. Might still encapsulate to keep my dehumidifier from running most of the time, during the summer months. They were not the cheapest, but I felt more comfortable with them than any of the other company's I met with

I found Mr. Taylor's information in EPA website for radon remediation system. He is one of few certified expert in the middle TN. He and his crew did great job on the vapor barrier. Even though the radon level is still under testing process, I believe he did correct job on it. I will come back to report the level of before-and-after when winter is coming.( For educational purpose, the radon level in winter time is higher than summer time according to my google-research

I really did not want to have this work done as it was so expensive but it was necessary as our crawlspace was "a mud pit"- I gave an A in price because they were less than a quote from a top competitor. As painful as paying that money was, the whole experience was great, from the sales rep to the installers. They all went above and beyond to answer my questions and to do the work correctly. I know they will stand behind their work over time should we need to contact them

We have negative slope from our front yard towards the house. Late last year, we found a spot of mold in the corner of the basement and remediated it with microban and kilz. That corner was moist on the floor, so we had 3 foundation companies out to look at the situation. Since we didn't have any actual water flow into the basement, we went with Drainage Pros to divert water from the negative slope away from the house to see if we could prevent foundation leaks into the basement. Drainage Pros put in two curtain drains and tied in our downspouts to move water away from the front porch and the foundation. One curtain drain was just beyond the sidewalk leading to the front door. The other curtain drain was back close to the front porch as a fail safe. We liked the design and really wanted to try diverting water away from the foundation first before anything else. The construction process was 4 stars. There was what I call a bump in the process. Bob owned the issue and was a big part of resolving the problem. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the result. The curtain drains look nice and really blend in nicely with the landscape. Honestly, it will take time to determine if this solution is going to work long term. We feel good about the chances and didn't have to tear into the foundation, install sump pumps etc. The result was 5 Star

ProDry Water Removal was over quickly when we recently had a significant flood in our home due to a plumbing issue. The team was great and knew exactly what to do and what to document. After being out of our house for three months, we returned and shortly after, had a water heater leaking in the garage which cause some moisture damage. They felt so bad we were having another water issue they helped with that issue for free! Very professional, show up when they say they are going to, great communication

They continually followed up and afterwards, there was a few problems that we have that they took care at their own expense. They weren't problems due to neglect, just problems you couldn't have foreseen until the job was actually completed. We found out that we did have to put in an extra sump pump which they gave me at cost. They did the work and didn't charge us for labor, which I thought was really fair. The whole system, the waterproofing, the quality of the air, and everything in the crawl space is fantastic. It's great

I had estimate done mid-May. I wasn't ready for work to be done until mid-July. Everyone was very nice. There was a small mishap, but it was taken care of immediately. I now have the ezflow drain system and a sump pump to keep my crawl space dry. (Though i haven't checked it yet as I want to give it a week or so to do its job.) Although pricey, the job was well done, the crew was great, David Vanderpool was great, and I'm quite happy. Our next step will be to encapsulate the crawl space. TFS is at the top of our list to do that job, though we will get other estimates too. Their fee for going just over an hour from their office is pretty high, so we shall see what happens on that. Maybe more work in this area of middle Tennessee will cause that fee to drop or go away

I was satisfied with the field workers and supervisor, they worked hard and were very polite. However, the manager was difficult to deal with and tried to add additional work after the engineer developed the repair plan. Also that manager brought 6 extra people in and they sat around all day doing nothing all day. If there was that much fluff in the project cost I would have rather had a discount . I knew I was paying for those people so there is a problem with management. That same manager wanted me to tear out the staircase going from the basement to the 1st floor. That would have been a huge job. The field engineer did not see the need so we did not do it and the work was completed. Finally that same manager tried to revise the cost estimate which would have charged us twice for the same work for 3 supports. I contacted the office but [they were not very interested in my issues
