We hired Knight's to stretch our carpets, which were buckling. There were no materials purchased. Each time they scheduled themselves to be at our house, we had to call them the evening before to confirm they would be at our home the next day, and then found out that their installers were already scheduled and couldn't make it. This happened twice. Their excuse was that their installers had very tight schedules and they couldn't tell until the last minute whether they would be available. (It would seem if your installers work for you, you would know what their schedules look like ahead of time.) When the installers finally arrived, they were very knowledgeable and capable. They announced before they started that the job would take only 30 minutes (actually took 45 minutes). It involved using two tools: a carpet stretcher and a cutting knife. For this we were charged $700. On the plus side, the installers did a good job. On the minus side, the office and sales support are incompetent.
