Delta Tech HVAC/Quality Air Conditioning

This was a moderately complex job in that the ducting ran down the wall and out via the crawl space. I was not completely satisfied with the ductwork and they returned the next day and corrected it. I may use them for other HVAC service I need.

Allied Tile & Stone

It was perfect. We stopped by the shop yesterday afternoon, showed Michael a picture of the job to be done. The first option he showed us was perfect, bringing in the colors of the wall and the countertop. We set the job for this morning. Miguel showed up, got to work, and gave us a great finished product. He left the area cleaner than he found it. Allied will be our go-to for any future tile work

As demonstrated by the list of services performed, Kelvin "Holmes" Struiksma can do it all! He is an excellent problem solver (an essential skill when dealing with any remodeling project - big or small). Kelvin's attention to detail, wide range of knowledge and supreme skills transformed an "eighties oldie" into a 2010 showplace

Airway Heating & Air Conditioning
5.0
Informative, explained everything up front of the procedures. During the Analysis of the mechanics of the operation, Showed me all of the readings! With explanation of what each item?s expected ranges and what my unit was producing. Professionalism, was displayed to the utmost Quality without appearing to demean my limited or lack of knowledge. Airway, Answered my questions promptly and in detail. It appeared the dual capacitor was operating below, acceptable range and I had decided to have replaced. Scott has many parts in his vehicle; however, he was out of the correct model for my unit. He actually left and returned quickly for the install. I enjoyed this experience, as they gave me extra tips, to help my unit operate Efficiently and to give my unit longevity. I did not feel pressured At All to purchase anything, I Did Not Need

Darin is great to work with through the entire process; professional and trustworthy. He layed out our kitchen design and provided several alternatives that he thought may work better (one of which we chose). The estimate he provided was fair and the final price came in below. Darin communicated effectively throughout the process and was quick to answer all the questions we had. We are so happy with the quality of work and our beautiful new kitchen

Allied Tile & Stone
5.0
Based on their great reviews on Angie's list, I requested an estimate from Allied Tile for the installation of floor tile in our Kitchen. They were very quick to respond and schedule an estimate. Initially I had planned on getting estimates from several different companies. After I met with Rick from Allied Tile, I was very impressed with his companies experience. I had reached out to several other companies for estimates, but didn't receive any calls back. I was more than happy to go with Allied Tile, the estimate that they gave me was within the price range that I was expecting. My husband and I had been shopping around at several stores trying to decide on the tile that we wanted. When I showed Rick a sample of the color we had chosen, he immediately suggested a great Ceramic tile from Bedrosians. The quality and price of the tile was great, so we chose it for our kitchen floor. Allied Tile took it from there. They ordered the tile from Bedrosian's and brought it with them when they came to do the installation. The installers took great care to ensure that the area of the house that wasn't being worked on was protected. They were prompt each workday and completed approximately 300 square feet of tear out and tile installation in 3 days. The owners Michael and Rick checked in with me several times over the installation period to ensure that I was happy with the work. I will definitely be calling Allied Tile for any future remodels. The definitely deserve the great ratings that they have on Angie's List

BRET TURNER HEATING AND COOLING
5.0
The compressor froze up on my central AC just as the temperatures were beginning to really heat up. I received estimates from several reputable dealers ranging from $5,000 - $9,000 (depending on size). And, of course, they were saying I needed a bigger unit for the size of home that I have. Mr. Turner came out and told me that replacing the exiting compressor with a bigger one wouldn't do any good unless I also replaced the air handler in the attic and added another air return. He said that my problem was that I didn't have enough air return volume for the number of tons of AC that I had, and he recommended that I just add another return and replace the compressor with a new unit of the same size. In short, he came out and solved my problem quickly and economically. He didn't just come out to sell me as much AC as he could. Mr. turner and his team did a fantastic job. They were prompt, polite, highly skilled, friendly and trust-worthy. They even took down the two old satellite dishes that were on the roof ( I couldn't get to them because they were so high up). In fact, he did such a good job that I also hired him to install a thermostatically controlled attic fan the next week. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Mr Turner and whole-heartedly recommend Turner Heating and Air Conditioning

West Coast Renovation
5.0
It was first class work. I found them through the people that came to paint the house. They were quite good. They were excellent. The only criticism I had was they were a little slow to get out to me because they are a small firm. I guess they stay pretty busy but when they got out here, they did really good work. I have had them work off and on over the last year. They have been here 5 different times for various jobs. There was nothing they had to come back and redo. I had 5 small projects that I could afford as they came up. The travertine came out just great. The entryway is 6 x 16 and they did it all in travertine and it looks extremely nice. The travertine was about $200.00 and their work was about $700.00. Totally, it was about $1000.00. I am very pleased with the work. My wife didn't complain once so that means I am real happy. They were really good. The only criticism is that they are a little slow to get to me. But when they get there, their work is excellent. The price was what I expected and they came in on their estimate. They were here 5 times and they came in on their estimates 4 out of the 5 times. The one time they didn't, we discussed it and they modified the estimate. They talked to me about it. They just didn't dump it on me. They could have walked in at the last minute and told me they needed more money but they didn't do that. They talked to me about what was going on. I appreciate the fact that they try to keep communication up. They clean their work up pretty well when they come in. They are in and out. They do stuff ranging from complex handyman level to putting up a whole garage up for me. I am quite pleased with them. If I need their work, I will call them. I needed to know about a plumber and they recommended him and he was very good. The guy from West Coast Renovation has contacts with other people that seem to be very professional which I thought was refreshing. When the guys come out they seem to know what in the world they are doing. I have some experience myself on working on homes and when I asked questions they gave me the right answers. They didn't give me a bunch of baloney. I asked a couple of questions that were wrong on purpose and he corrected me. That's what I wanted him to do. If he just kept agreeing with me, I would have thanked him and told him not to let the door hit him. I am quite pleased. It's a 4-man operation. He will tell me that he will do his best to get to me and sometimes it's a week later. That didn't bother me too much. He tries to pitch in with all the jobs he has going. He is a general contractor type guy. I understand that, but maybe some people will think he is a little slow responding. Once he is on the job, he doesn't horse around at all. He gets it done. He is very personable. The guy that owns the company is named Matt Potenjack. Matt's very personable and he talks right at me

Valley Breeze Heating & Air Conditioning
5.0
On our former home we were converting to a rental property, the upstairs combo HVAC unit had a cracked condensate pan and refrigerant leak. We called out multiple HVAC contractors, all of whom recommended replacing the unit with a new one, even though it was only 12 years old. Their collective rationale seemed to be that (a) the unit was an inferior brand (Heil), and (b) it used an older refrigerant (R22) which is eventually being phased out in favor of more environmentally-friendly refrigerants. Replacement estimates ranged from $3,500 to $4,500 and more. Not wanting to purchase a new unit, we asked Saji at Valley Breeze Heating & Air Conditioning to come out to the rental property and give us an estimate as well. Saji had recently fixed both the upstairs and downstairs air conditioning units in our new home, after two previous HVAC contractors were unable to do the job, each with multiple visits (two visits for the first company, and three visits for the second one). He found the power cabling on the downstairs unit had been disconnected in the attic, no doubt from the second HVAC contractor forgetting to reconnect everything on his third and last visit. And on the upstairs unit, Saji found that the 24v fuse had been blown again (which the prior two contractors had also found and attempted to troubleshoot, with obvious lack of success). Saji suspected that the upstair condensor unit's contactor (sort of like a high-amperage electrical relay) was malfunctioning and causing the blown fuses. He replaced the contactor and the fuse, and we have had no AC problems at our new home since then. With Saji's recent success in mind (where others had failed), we summoned him to the rental property. At the rental property, Saji remarked that the unit looked to be in very good shape, except for the obviously cracked condensate drain pan and the utter lack of refrigerant. He strongly recommended that we fix the existing unit with a new pan, pressure check the unit for leaks and fix any we find, and reconnect a disconnected return air duct, all for less than $1,000. After we gave him the go-ahead, Saji ordered the replacement drain pan with three-day delivery, and during the three-day delay, he pressure-checked the system with nitrogen and discovered that one of the two external Schrader valves had a slow leak, so he repaired/replaced them both as a precaution, and left the system charged with 300 PSI nitrogen until the new drain pan arrived. A few days later, with the new pan in hand, Saji checked the pressure and found no leaks, so he proceeded to remove the coil, reconnect the ducting, replace the pan, recharge the system, and install condensate plumbing, all while staying within his original sub-$1,000 estimate. Saji demonstrated excellent HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills, and took the time to answer all of my questions, during the first repair at our new home as well as at the rental home. We will surely rely on him for all future HVAC needs
We made an appointment and luckily it was able to be moved to 2 days earlier. The technician made a thorough examination of our thermostat, air conditioner and fan area. He was able to pinpoint the trouble and had us up and running again in approximately 1 hour.
The guy offered free suggestions. He also provided quotes for a couple of different projects. He showed me samples for countertops and cabinets. The quote process went very well. However, I did not think it would be so expensive to get the work done. Also, the range of projects that he showed me was very limited in terms of colors and textures. However, I liked the fact that they had a policy of coming out and discussing the ideas I had. It took them an hour and a half for doing the evaluation. I will consider using them in the future
Carmelo did an excellent job on installing a gas fitting for my new dryer. He installed the fittings and got my dryer hooked up. He went above and beyond and also helped me light my pilot light on my water heater! He explained what he would do, performed the work and cleaned up after himself! Great job Carmelo
Correctly diagnosed problem but did not have parts on hand. Gave quote and lead time to get parts. Did not have face mask. Contacted another appliance repair firm that had parts on hand and quoted significantly lower price
When the oven broke, Hi Tech got a technician out with a couple hours to look at things. The tech was unable to fix it within a time frame that Hi Tech felt was fast enough so to make sure I wasn't without an oven they simply ordered me a new one. What more can you ask for? There was no "we need to order parts" or "we need to get another tech out who maybe knows more about this model." None of that. They couldn't fix it on the first trip so let's order a new one, take care of the customer, and the contractor can refurbish the original oven on his own time and do with it as he needs. Every time I've contacted Hi Tech they have moved mountains to make sure I'm taken care of...even in cases where their warranty didn't cover whatever was going on they have helped negotiate lower prices and have helped coordinate routine maintenance. This is a big issue that I think a lot of people take for granted. Hi Tech, like any home warranty company, is NOT responsible for routine maintenance. We as homeowners have to take care of our homes, appliances, water heaters, HVAC systems etc. We can't expect Hi Tech to fix issues that are a result of our own lack of maintenance. We have to do our part and I have been incredibly grateful for Hi Tech's willingness to help coordinate that routine service. When it's time to have my HVAC system looked at, I call Hi Tech and they coordinate a service visit. I pay a preferred rate to the contractor and I know that I'm doing my part under the warranty to ensure that if issues do arise I'm covered. There was one issue that was not covered under the warranty because I had not had my HVAC inspected in over a year. In that case, Hi Tech worked with the contractor to 1. get out to my house IMMEDIATELY to address the major issue 2. work with me and the contractor to ensure I was paying the lowest possible price. I've never had a warranty company advocate for me in this way. Most of the time if something isn't covered you get a "sorry we can't help you" kind of response and that's the end of that. Then we're on our own to find a repairman and deal with whatever comes. Not so with Hi Tech. They are with me every step of the way, on the phone coordinating everything between me and the contractors. Of all the companies out there I have found Hi Tech to be the easiest to deal with, the most straightforward and professional, and who have the nicest, hardworking contractors. They even provide a plan that includes basic issues related to the exterior of the home, another plus that distinguishes them from other companies. Again though, don't expect them to replace your roof for you. That's not what they do but if you're maintaining things and you have a covered issue, there will be no problems in working with Hi Tech to address whatever is going on. If it's not covered, expect them to go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need done by honest people you can trust
It's a LED light bulb. It ended up being around $300, with the part and labor. They did a good job. They're fair in their pricing. They came right away and did it right away.
, Mr. Bradley and his son arrived on time the next day, removed the damaged area of sheet rock and baseboards. The area was left open for 24 hours to dry out. They returned the following day and repaired the walls and baseboard so perfectly that you can't tell that there was any damage at all to the area. We will definitely hire them to do any future work or remodel that we need done. We are extremely HAPPY!
I liked that they were on time, clean and fast. They did quality work. I went on Angie’s List to check their reviews. I would recommend them for anything. I am going to save up money and get my second bathroom and kitchen done by them. They are even going to put my windows in because they have people who can do windows. That’s how good they are. They know everybody. In fact their price was very competitive. I was going to do a demonstration myself. I thought it was going to be a huge amount that I was going to save. He told it’s going to take me 2 days to do it and he could do it in half an hour. It was worth it for me to go and get it done right the first time. I was going to have him redo the cabinets. He told there was nothing wrong with the cabinets. He did recommend someone he knew who could come and stand them down and re-stain them; put new hardware on it if I wanted to. It would be a fraction of the cost then what it would take to replace. He wasn’t out to fill his wallet up by me. He told this is what I need and that’s the best way to do it. They will be the only ones I will use in the future. It was a very positive experience and this guy was absolutely the best

what should have been a max 2 hr job took 5 plus hours to complete. I think the gentlemen was a very nice person but I think he may have been a bit over his head. He should have in my opinion had an additional person helping him or someone that was more experienced. Again as a person very nice and pleasant. He really did his best and I do appreciate his efforts, just took an extra long time.
