The compressor froze up on my central AC just as the temperatures were beginning to really heat up. I received estimates from several reputable dealers ranging from $5,000 - $9,000 (depending on size). And, of course, they were saying I needed a bigger unit for the size of home that I have. Mr. Turner came out and told me that replacing the exiting compressor with a bigger one wouldn't do any good unless I also replaced the air handler in the attic and added another air return. He said that my problem was that I didn't have enough air return volume for the number of tons of AC that I had, and he recommended that I just add another return and replace the compressor with a new unit of the same size. In short, he came out and solved my problem quickly and economically. He didn't just come out to sell me as much AC as he could. Mr. turner and his team did a fantastic job. They were prompt, polite, highly skilled, friendly and trust-worthy. They even took down the two old satellite dishes that were on the roof ( I couldn't get to them because they were so high up). In fact, he did such a good job that I also hired him to install a thermostatically controlled attic fan the next week. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Mr Turner and whole-heartedly recommend Turner Heating and Air Conditioning.
