Everything went great! Miguel was on time and very professional. Price was super fair. Would definitely hire again for any future plumbing work.

My daughter told me yesterday that the heater quit working. I had used Scott last year when the heater went out and he repaired it, but warned that it was really old and would not last much longer...he was right. I called him right away and he made the appt with her for today, and called me to tell me my options. I had already planned to replace it. He got the new items and a helper and the heater and thermostat were installed and working this afternoon. My daughter is ecstatic, and warm. She texted me that "he was just awesome". He showed up on time, was polite, all work done properly and spotlessly cleaned up when done. My daughter was comfortable being alone with him, which is very important for a young woman. I genuinely nice and professional man.

While the service was good and they were punctual, the estimate was several hundred more than a different provider.

I was very impressed with the promptness and professionalism. He was very knowledgeable about his field. On his second trip (now with needed parts) I added looking at a gas smell coming from my pool heater. He found the problem right away and fixed it. He also noticed a possible fire hazard with the pool heater and helped me correct it. I am very grateful for his going above and beyond what he was originally asked to fix.

I had a gas leak develop in the gas line in the raised foundation under the family room on a Friday night. I called PGE and they shut down my gas meter. I called Raul at RC Plumbing the next day on a Saturday morning. Issac came out to my house the same day around 2:30 PM. Issac pressure tested the line, crawled under the foundation and fixed the leak. I was able to get PGE back out and they tested the line and confirmed the leak was fixed. This is my second service call for RC Plumbing and I appreciate them coming out on a Saturday and fixing my gas leak. Their rates are reasonable and I will continue to use them. Issac also notified me of a copper water line under the house which was connected to steel pipe without a dielectric union. I will be calling them back out to fix that issue.

James arrived on time and got right to work. All the work he did was professional and thorough. He initially didn't think he'd be able to complete all the work on the same day, but he did! Highly recommended!

This review is long overdue but I am still happy with the service I received in Sept 2012. I've used Happy Drains in the past for clogged drains. This time I needed help with a gas leak. I live in an older home and the gas lines are not buried deep in the ground. Our swamp cooler overflows from time to time and eventually created a leak in the gas line. Rex not only fixed the leak but repositioned the gas line to avoid the risk of a gas leak in the future. He also installed a new gas valve for my stove since the original valve was near impossible to move in the event of an emergency. The county inspector checked out his work and it passed with flying colors. I feel safer in my home now that Rex made these repairs. Happy Drains does quality work in a prompt, professional and friendly manner. I highly recommend Happy Drains!

We had a specific time frame in which we needed to complete the work. The owner arrived on time and gave an estimate. After speaking with several other companies I knew this was a fair price. After agreeing to the terms he helped me figure out the next step which was obtaining a permit for the work. Once I had the permit in hand he accommodated my busy schedule to begin the work and once we were at the inspection stage he walked me though the next step. He suggested I leave his number attached to the permit so that when the inspector arrived he could contact him with any issues. The inspection passed, then the plumber arrived later that day to hook up the stove again. After worrying so much about this problem this plumber made it all so easy. And it was such a fair rate!! Definitely would use his services again. He was fair, punctual, and professional. Even in this economy finding great service, quality work, and comparable prices isn't easy. This guy was all of that. I don't normally write reviews, but thought a hardworking person in these times deserved a mention.

I sat at my house waiting for over 2 hours (time I was taking off from work). They give you a 2 hour time frame in which the technician will arrive. I called at the end of that two hours and they said he was on his way. He finally showed up 45 minutes later, sat in his truck for a while in front of my house and then got to work. I can say that the job he did was good, water heater works great. The pipes they used to connect the gas line to the unit were old and rusty. Doesn't really affect the function, but they charged me as if they were new. I agreed to pay them hourly since they were the only company who called me back about the installation. They charge $85/hour. I researched how much it should cost to install the water heater online and in the end they were about $200 over the top of that range. I called them a week later to ask for a detailed bill of services and it turns out they charged me for 7 hours when the tech was only there for about 5. It turns out that I was on the clock when the tech was dispatched to my house, he sat in his truck for about 20 minutes and then when he was finished it took him about 40 minutes to write up my bill, then continued to sit in front of my house for another 20 minutes. All of this sitting around and wasting time I was paying $85 and hour for. Be careful about the hourly pay with this company, it's where they'll get you. Always get an estimate first.
