Here's a quick list of the things he did wrong: -A rectangular area of decomposed granite in the backyard was messily poured with no defined edges. It's a huge mess and he told me that making edges wasn't in the initial quote. -No weed blocking fabric was used underneath this area of decomposed granite, so now there are weeds all over the place. -The front yard was supposed to be a rock/succulent garden. All he did was pour tiny pebbles that made a mess all over the sidewalk and stuck a really small, cheap terra cotta pot in the middle. -That terra cotta pot had rocks and succulents in it. No soil. Yeah, he planted the plants in rocks, no dirt of any kind. They're dying now, of course. And I'm not buying soil as I'm about to move out of this house! -I had to remind him at least three times to remove the sprinklers in the backyard since that area used to be lawn. This was seriously the easiest job for any landscaper to do. I actually was going to do it myself, but once we found out we were moving, I decided to outsource it. $2900 should have paid for some beautiful landscaping, but instead it all went toward a huge, ugly mess. I have contacted Jordan multiple times via phone and email and he's completely ignoring me. So, beware. Do not work with Jordan Preston (Preston Landscaping or JP Landscaping)!!!
