Floors still need to be sanded and refinish because the job was poorly done. The floors weren't sanded flat as promised they were crowned. Wood filler wasn't troweled across the floor. The boards weren't counter sinked the workmanship of repairs was adequate but wrong wood and wood filler was used. We also have white oak floors and red oak was used and golden oak filler was used. In a closet a hole in the sheet rock was made rather then offer to pay for it he wanted me to provide the materials to patch the walls, but not have it painted. He stored his expensive equipment in my garage without my consent. He also didn't remove access material such as nails and extra wooden boards were put in our yard. He spilled polyurethane and didn't clean this up, this went on our walls. The polyurethane wasn't applied correctly and overworked in certain areas. He didn't sand and refinish the hardwood room dividers. In the room with the screen and coat looks worse then before. He charged more for down payment (materials) then the 10% law requires. He didn't put the doors back on the hinges as we agreed at the beginning. He left the lights on and windows open every night even though we asked not to every night. He also left his radio blasted after the work was complete and left our key on the mantle. With the widows open and lights on it could be seen. He also said he would do a final walk through and never did.

We had Donovan come over for some trim, work at our home. Base boards, painting, and finish work on our hardwood floors.It was completed timely and efficiently. All work was completed with no mess! He conducted all his work with professionalism and good communication. His attention to detail is top notch. I've have used him on other properties for tile work, Sheetrock repair, and fencing. All turned out great with no hassles.We look forward to him coming back to replace our windows!

Adrian Construction
Two young guys arrived on tues morning (the temp reached 108) and started by removing and replacing the water shutoff valves, next was removing the old plywood subfloor which was very difficult to remove. Then they put down a subfloor that can be tiled on, the next thing was starting to map out the floor design and start the cuts. Arrived early the next day and almost got the floor completed, on Thursday they finished the floor and grouted it, then installed the vanity and sinks and top, then the connection and plumbing was finished and they were out by about 4pm. They took great care not to get anything dirty and cleaned everything up before they left. two very nice guys. The owner and his partner made several stops to make sure everything was going well.

The project manager wasn't around and they didn't own up to mistakes. This resulted in more harm then good when the work finished. This was a huge finical loss.

Recent Review: Carlos was prompt in responding to my inquiry, and made immediate plans to get out to my house to provide recommendations and an estimate. He was friendly, professional, and I instantly trusted his expertise to provide a good recommendation and plan of what to do. He and his crew arrived at my house exactly at the time we specified. They did an excellent job sanding and restoring the floors. I gave them a big challenge to match the tone of a (newer) floor nearby, and he mixed up a custom stain which matches perfectly. They cleaned everything up and left my home in great condition. Overall, the floors look great and everyone compliments them. I would work with this provider again.

Recent Review: If I could give Calvin Hoang an A+ rating I would. Calvin Hoang runs a one man operation and he did an exceptional job refinishing and repairing my Kahrs engineered oak floors. I suffered a slow leak in the copper water pipe connected to my refrigerator and by the time I realized it, the floors underneath and in front of the refrigerator was in terrible shape. Compounding this situation was that I only had one small board of the engineered flooring and Kahrs no longer manufactured that product; plus my floor was refinished (very poorly) 10 years ago and I wasn't sure if the floor could even be refinished or fixed. I contacted Calvin Hoang. He promptly returned my calls and scheduled an appointment to look at the floor. Calvin arrived on-time for the appointment. He indicated I could replace the flooring underneath the fridge with a similar product - it wouldn't match, but no one would see it as it would be underneath the fridge. He could make the repairs in the floor that would be visible with my one wood board. In addition, Calvin recommended using an oil based polyurethane finish rather than a water based one as the board would be very thin after sanding. He anticipated that the project would take 5 days. Everything went wonderfully with the project. Calvin was always prompt, kept me informed and cleaned up each day. He is a master at his craft -- there were a couple of problem areas due to the poor job with the first refinish 10 years ago, but Calvin made them barely noticeable. He is meticulous, doesn't rush through the work and does a top-notch job.
