This project was a complete do-over of a handicapped shower that had been originally established in 1990 and had suffered repeated damage through the years due to disabled son's lack of mobility and balance. It also entailed repairing damaged walls and floor. My son Rick picked out the tile for both areas and Donovan consulted both of us on every decision that was made with a sensitivity to limitations in the process. Could not have picked a better contractor for our project and highly recommend and commend him as a true professional.

Recent Review: I am a retired, disabled veteran requiring the use of a walk-in bathtub. I applied for a home improvement and alterations (HISA) grant from the VA. After looking at the different vendors off of the VA's approved list of vendors who carried walk-in tubs. And, having researched the various brands and types, I settled on the American Tubs brand. As a result, I chose Adaptive Living Renovations Inc. off of the VAs approved list. I contacted Adaptive Living Renovations Inc in Elk Grove through their website and I was contacted by Keith Howard, owner. He was very familiar with the VA HISA Grant system and usually has 3-4 of them in process at any given time. He came to my house for our initial appointment where he did a site survey, gathered my requirement and made solid recommendations based on my needs. Additionally, he assisted me in putting my HISA application together and even submitted it for me. After I received approval from the VA, the tub was ordered. When the tub and special tile that we order arrived, Keith immediately scheduled an installation date that supported our schedule. It took two and a half days for his team (2) of contractors to complete the job. Both Paul and Cameron were very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Before the installation began, Keith came by ensure that the tub and deck were positioned in the place that we had agreed to. At completion of each day, they cleaned up their work space. Upon completion of the installation, Keith came by to inspect the tub's installation and gave a quick tutorial of its use. Additionally, Keith said if we had any problems that we should contact him. We were very satisfied with the product and end results. This is a high performance and very solid tub with many options. I know this from experience; we previously owned a walk-in tub from Jacuzzi.
