Reviews in Minneapolis to Remove Fuel Tank

DEAN'S TANK INC
5.0
After a buyer's inspection (from Structure Tech, A+) we needed to find out for certain if there was a fuel tank at our potential house. Dean came out, did some stuff, and certified that there is not a tank. We were not present for the work. This was a valuable service, as the results could have 100% permanently ended the deal. When no tank was found, he did a few minutes worth of work so that this question should not come up if the house is for sale in the future. He also provided up with a signed certificate of his results, which we will be able to show any potential buyers if we eventually sell the house.

I discovered a buried fuel tank on my property on a Sunday afternoon. Contacted Dean the next day after Searching the List. Dean was extraordinarily helpful in explaining what needed to be done and what I could expect. By Friday his crew was at my property, arriving on time and had the job completed within 3 hours. Dean was onsite supervising the job to make sure I was satisfied--he really values his customers. Charged the price he quoted me even though the tank was larger than first anticipated. Very fair and conscientious.

Excellent. They had to cut the oil tank into pieces to remove it from the basement. The completed the job in less than two hours. They did a great job of clean up and you would never know they they had been there other than the tank was gone.

They removed any and all leftover oil in the tank, then very efficiently 'cut up' the tank for easy removal up the basement stairs and out the door. The guys did an excellent job of clean-up.

Owens Companies

We just bought our home and the seller had told us that she had just filled the oil tank. When our furnace stopped working, Kasey Kindle from Owens came out for an emergency call. After replacing the nozzle and cleaning the assembly of the furnace, he determined that our oil tank was empty. He waited until they had come to fill our tank to make sure everything was going to work correctly, and didn't charge us for the extra time. Although this "emergency" was a bit expensive, it was well worth it.

Work was done quickly and carefully. They cut the large steel tank into three pieces and carefully removed them up the stairs and out of the house. We then waited for the city inspector, who approved the job. In Minneapolis 2 different permits are required to do this work. They took care of all that. Job site was cleaned up afterwards.

They were subcontracted through the company I was having doing asbestos abatement. They called to see if they could remove the tank a day early since the other company was completing early. I agreed and they showed up on time, and were very professional throughout the process. They cleaned up after themselves, patched the holes left from the filler pipes and fuel lines in the cement floor. This is a great company which takes pride in their work. I would definitely recommend them!

Recent Review: Water heater started leaking on Sunday AM, called Same Day Water Heaters and left a message not expecting a response until Monday am. Ray called me back a few hours later and said that he would have someone here first thing Monday and we discuss tank versus tank-less for a few minutes. I did some research and discussed the cost difference with my better half, and we ultimately decided to stay with a tank solution, I called Ray back and he said he would have one here Monday am. Nate arrived 10 minutes before Ray said he would and got right to work. The old heater was removed quickly and the new one was installed without any issues. The whole event took 3 hours end to end. The team explained what they did along the way and cleaned up after themselves – even going so far to make sure the gate was closed after they left. I would definitely recommend Ray and the team at same day to anyone.

Recent Review: In all I was given, what I felt, were honest and professional opinions and options so I could make an informed decision. Three other plumbers had told me that I needed a replacement well tank and that the tank I had was a bladder tank, which Tom said it was not. They all would have replaced the tank without even trying to re-pressurized the tank. And since Tom is also a plumber as well as a well specialist and he had time ha also replaced a bathroom faucet. A very good experience. I will call this company again when I need plumbing service.
