very courteous and knowledgable; also had good sense of humor! Estimate provided was reasonable--have not yet received a bill. We would contact this entity again without hesitation.

When we need HVAC services, Michael is our go-to guy. He's prompt, courteous, and really knows his stuff. We've had planned services and emergencies, and he's taken such good care of us each time. We're planning to have our 20+ year-old furnace and air-conditioner replaced and he'll be the one to do it. Just can't say enough about what a great job he does.

Dana was incredible. Showed up on time, installed the gas line in a very complicated situation. Moved the new stove into position, and installed. I did not expect that to be part of this service, but he did without hesitation. Cleaned up everything upon completion. Will definitely use again for other projects.

Jim Morrison Plumbing Inc

I bought two hours of labor for $99 from Jim last summer. He came by before I purchased the deal and said what he thought he could do. It took ma a long time to find my cooktop. Jim got bus with other Angie's List jobs and at one point, sent out a note to those of us still hanging and apologized. But in my case, it was my own doing. When I finally needed to install the gas line Jim was very responsive. He worked fast and explained everything he was doing, and why. He finished the job in two hours, so all I had to pay for (beyond the deal) was parts. I told Jim I'd have him back later to do some bathroom plumbing.

Dana Hoagland Plumbing Inc

First off, Kathy rocks! She was super helpful in scheduling and communicating. Dana and Luke came to our home on three different occasions to fix some plumbing, run a gas line and install a gas cooktop. The quality of the work was excellent! Dana went above and beyond with some tricky cabinet modifications to make things work. You'd never know anything was changed. Highly recommend these folks as they should be the rule not the exception to excellent service! Look forward to dealing with them again!

Great job! We received a call that the techs were on their way and they arrived on time. The utility space is tight but they made it work with no fuss and they did a great job. They cleaned up after their work and were very helpful in walking us through everything. Would definitely hire again!

KAL'S PLUMBING Company

Everything went well - phone calls returned promptly, appointment as scheduled. Person who did work was thorough, professional and friendly. Very neat - left no mess and explained everything he did. Price was toward the higher end of what I expected, but considering I have zero complaints - worth it!

This is the second time I've used Salzer Plumbing for work in my home. Berney and his team are professional and do a great job. They've done a great job of integrating new plumbing in with the existing old "old stuff".

BOE PLUMBING

Steve was friendly and very responsive over the entire project. On his return trip to complete appliance install he insisted he be paid before he left. Since he had been so great to work with I settled up. After he left I noticed the dishwasher toe kick hadn't been installed. It was it the kitchen during his service but no where to be found when he left. I've tried calling several times to inquire but he won't return my calls. Additionally he was supposed to replace an old shut off at our water heater but that hadn't been completed either.

Kok Lee Plumbing
5.0
Kok was great. As a new homeowner, I was a little nervous going with a solo operation and not a regular plumbing firm, but the reviews here were so solid I gave it a try. Happy I did. Kok stopped by the Friday before to look over the job, gave an estimate, and returned Monday to work. He made multiple trips to the store to get the necessary parts, but charges no mark up on supplies (he shows you the receipt to make this clear). Kok was great to work with; a very pleasant guy. Honored Angie's List coupon as well. I'll be using him again for any plumbing/gas needs.

Pronto Heating & Air Conditioning

I was installing a new fence, using a contractor found on Angie's List, and they severed my gas line that runs to my gas grill. They did partial due dillegence and had Gopher One come mark where all utilites were. Unfortunately the fence company did not mark where they would be digging, therefore the gas line was not marked. They would not take responsibility for severing the gas line, which left me scrambling for what to do. I had to call Centerpoint out asap, to make sure all was ok. Well Centerpoint also would not take responsibilty for their error in not marking there was a gas line and Red Tagged my home, they shut off the gas completely. I had yet to use Pronto for any services, but had them out for an estimate for an ac unit once before. So my first call was to them. I spoke with Katie, I believe, in the office and she was so nice and helpful, and understood my frustation with my contractor. By the end of the call I had Pronto scheduled for the next day. Matt came out and was very kind in his explanation of the full cost, even though I was beyond frustrated that I had to put so much money that was unexpected. I asked how much it would be to fix the line to my grill and he suggested that we go another route instead of having the line trenched in the yard. He was unable to do it that day, understandable, but capped off the line and turned the gas back on to my home. He scheduled another date to come out to do the line. The following week Matt and Mike arrived and within 1 hour had my gas grill back up and running. They were friendly, knowledgable and told me they would be back later that night for a hot steak off the grill! While I was upset with the fact that I needed to have to use Pronto and their services, I cannot imagine using anyone else. They are go above and beyond in their customer services as well as the work they do.

Very responsive (faster than I expected) and quick at what they do. We used them first when we had the water lines replaced in our first house. On that project they were very quick too.

Weld & Sons Plumbing
5.0
We just needed to get some of our gas plumbing up to code - installing a drip T and properly supporting the gas line to our dryer. So it was not a very big job at all. Weld and Sons was among the cheapest out there. They gave me a very accurate estimate on the phone. The lady I spoke to on the phone was a little unsure of what exactly we needed done so she transferred my call to the owner to give me an accurate estimate. This showed me that they really care about their customers' needs. I called on a Friday afternoon and they were here first thing Tuesday morning. Showed up right when they said they would. Dan was very nice, worked quickly, did exactly what we asked, and showed me his work when he finished. I would highly recommend using them.

Plumb Right came out on a holiday weekend promptly and had the pipe repaired within an hour. Thorough and knowledgable, they detected a couple more leaks that needed attention. They even wrote a thank you note for choosing their service. Definately will keep their business card!

Recent Review: Perfect. Love these guys. Had them do one of my properties last year and I keep coming back to them to work on any new remodeling project I dream up. They are friendly, honest, happy to deal with all my wacko requests (like a fan in the laundry room). I always get several bids and these guys consistently come in on target or slightly better than the competition and they do a great job with complex projects. These guys aren't like other contractors who whine and moan about where you want stuff, they just make it happen!

Recent Review: I spoke with Jim on the phone and he was very informative and friendly. He was able to send (Evan?), out the same day to take a look. Evan was able to determine very quickly the plumbing to the sink was satisfactory and the issue was more than likely the faucet. He offered to take a look at for me but I said I could take it from there. He gave me a few quick tips, such as cleaning/replacing the regulator. Unfortunately, the $5 fix didn't work but I was able to determine the water pressure to the faucet head was satisfactory. I will need to replace the faucet itself. He did not charge me for the trip out. Excellent customer service!

Recent Review: We were in the process of selling my mother's home and had an inspection done as the seller. He found some plumbing/gas line issues that needed to be fixed. Emailed Jim the inspection report and he was able to give me a soft quote. He came out and fixed all the items in a timely matter and was right on with his price. I have also had Jim out to fix the laundry tub faucets at a rental house I own and will be using him again in the future as needed. Very courteous, clean, and on-time.

Recent Review: We did our due diligence and checked this company's credentials before hiring them. They had one A grade review on Angie's List and no negative reviews. They were a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating, had one positive review, and no negative reviews. Their registration with the MN Department of Labor and Industry is current and they proved to be Active/In Good Standing on the MN Secretary of State website. Power Plumbing was phoned to verify the pricing that is advertised on Angie's List under this business's description: "We charge by the hour at $115.00 per hour...and after the first hour, in fifteen minute increments. Also there is a $50 truck charge." A person kindly verified that the $115 hourly rate and 15 minute prorated fee after the 1st hour was correct, but that the charge to make the trip was $75 not $50. An appointment was scheduled for June 8, 2017 to have 1 toilet removed, 2 faucets disconnected, and 1 bathtub rough-in located. Two people arrived within the designated time frame and promptly placed covers on their shoes before entering the house. They immediately began work on the toilet and faucets. They quoted $120/hour + a $75 truck charge and a 2 hour minimum because of their 33 minute 1-way commute. Based on the previous phone conversation, it was our understanding that the $75 charge would cover the cost of the commute and that drive time was not categorized as a labor cost. We told them what we were quoted over the phone ($115/hour and a prorated fee for each 15 minute increment after the 1st hour). They refused to honor the original quote and said that pricing would be determined upon arrival to the job site. We felt we had no choice but to pay them because they had already begun working. It took them less than 1 hour and 15 minutes to drain and disconnect the toilet and faucets and to locate the bathtub rough-in. We were presented with a $315 invoice for $120/hour for 2 hours of labor + $75 truck charge. We paid them and they left. We later discovered that the toilet was left disconnected in our bathroom with the door closed. Our payment was deposited same day for labor that was not completed in full because they did not remove the toilet from our property and we will have to incur the cost for its disposal. What should've cost $218.75 ($143.75 for 1 hour 15 minutes of labor + $75 truck charge) cost $96.25 more for an unfinished job. An e-mail was sent to Power Plumbing informing them that we would not be hiring them for the rest of our project. An e-mail reply insisted that we were not quoted $115/hour. We were quoted that price as advertised and verified by a screen shot of the Angie's List description for Power Plumbing. While their credentials leading up to the appointment indicated that we could expect fair pricing and completed tasks, our experience proved disappointing. This was a missed opportunity to earn the rest of our business and our referral.

Recent Review: Dustin is absolutely fantastic. I have a number of rental properties in the Twin Cities and Dustin has helped with both heating and air conditioning issues. He is polite, professional, prompt, and knows his stuff on heating on air conditioning. Work is done correctly the first time, and all my tenants rave about his customer service, as do I. He accurately diagnoses problems and gives you different options for how they can fixed. If you are looking for a small business owner with your best interest in mind, look no further than Woody's. Truly an A+++ business.

What do customers in Minneapolis say about Gas Line Installation?

I had a very mixed experience with this company. They were initially very responsive during the original quote process and when it came to booking the service. The technicians on site were/are worth their weight in gold, however the rest of the process wasn?t as smooth. They were unable to provide me with a final bill when the repair was done so I felt a bit in the dark about how close it came to the original estimate. I then had to contact the company multiple times to receive the bill ? it came two weeks later. At that time, the charge was twice what the original estimate came in at. I understand that a permit had to be pulled, materials were used, etc. so the cost would come in higher, however the labor took longer than originally expected. That said, I think very highly of the service men so was more than OK with it, but wanted a better understanding of why that was the case with what was expected to be a fairly straightforward job. I asked for an explanation when the bill was sent and still haven?t heard back. I?m tired of chasing the company down so am paying the bill and calling it done. While the service technicians are amazing I likely wouldn?t use again because the rest of the experience with the company has been less than ideal. Disappointed.
