Recent Review: There was a slight delay in the start time for when the installation began due to truck problems and the garage not getting done in the time they said they would be done. AV Garage doors (Matt and Jeff) were both there about 2 hours later than they expected but worked ALL DAY and into the night until everything was done. We couldn't be happier with the new look! The cost of the doors ended up being higher than we were quoted, but AV Garage doors stood by their estimate and did not charge us for their mistake. We added a little extra money to our final check to try to close the gap for them. Their hard work and honesty is greatly appreciated and I would definitely use them again.

Recent Review: Everything went really well. Our garage door was in poor shape and we needed a new door opener. Steve came over to give us an estimate and review door options just a month ago. We selected the style of door (insulated steel) and he ordered the custom fit since we have an older, not standard size opening (built in 1981). Today he installed both the new door and the opener. He arrived early, completed in time he estimated and cleaned everything up and it all works really well. Great contact for doors and opener.

Recent Review: House we purchased had a finished garage but the walls were not insulated. Thermal Boundary filled the walls with dense pack blown in cellulose insulation and blew insulation into the attic. Before the insulation our garage would get to ambient temp, at the time we just had two weeks of -40 F temps (with windchill). After insulation, even in the coldest temps the garage would stay above freezing, typically at 40 F.

Recent Review: THE PEOPLE WHO INSTALLED IT SMOKED A LOT. THEY TIPPED OVER A CAN OF PAINT AND DIDNT MAKE ANY EFFORT TO CLEAN IT UP. I WOULD GO BACK.

Recent Review: I backed into our garage door. My husband priced a new one on Home Depot's web site. It was 450 just for the door (uninsulated) and north of 800 installed. So I called Twin City and learned we could get one installed and get the old one hauled away for 580. No brainer. They did the estimate the next day and had the installer out by the end of the week. It looks great.

Recent Review: Steve was very professional and helpful. He was able to intall the garage door within a few days of us ordering the product which was what we needed. We were informed right away when his schedule changed that morning and were given a better estimate of time he would arrive. After the installation Steve gave me tips and tricks for maintaining the garage door which I found extremely helpful. When he was finished he hauled away our old garage door. All of this at a reasonable price, we would not hesitate to call him again.

Recent Review: Excellent company! I worked with Thomas, who was prompt, professional, personable, and very customer focused. I originally bought an Angie's List deal for garage door tune-up. My garage door opener had also stopped working, so I wanted Thomas to check it. After examining my ancient opener and rusty garage door springs and rollers, Thomas recommended a new garage door and opener, which I was anticipating. He did not try to oversell, but laid out several options and helped me decide the best choice for my situation. Two days later he was back to install everything. He arrived on time, installed everything, and also went over how to maintain the door, work the new opening system, and provided tips for cold weather, vacations, etc. Friendly, great service! I highly recommend this local, small business.

Recent Review: Aker was very prompt in field-measuring and quoting our new door. The door was installed a few weeks later, and the installer did an exceptionally neat job despite the nasty weather. He offered some tips on maintenance of the opener and helped me program the keyless entry system.
