From start to finish, Dustin, Cameron, and Alex provides excellent service for our install. The only downside to our process doesn’t necessarily belong to them, but Solar is expensive. With our system facing west, we have to pay more to get the % energy we needed. From a national average, we were a bit high, but that’s what we get in Wisconsin. The panels are installed exactly how we had planned for them to go. They look nice on our roof, and have been producing on par with our estimates. Communication was fantastic, and has continued to be great after install. We are very pleased with Sun Badger Solar. Thanks to the whole crew

Installation was completed in a timely and professional manner, along with good attention to clean up of work areas at the end of the day. All interactions with the Sun Badger team were met with courteous responses and detailed explanations each step of the process. Sun Badger team did an excellent job of coordinating their scheduled work with WE Energies and the village inspector, as well as obtaining all the necessary permits for the project. Communications was very good, though there were a couple instances where workers showed up without advance notice of their visit from the project office

They were excellent people. We had two of them in our house and they were very polite when we talked to them. In fact we talked to them first at the state fair and they were very polite, answered our questions. The teller came out and gave us a quote there and then. During the installation, a young boy came out and did a super excellent job in installing it. We never had trouble with the solar tubes that they installed. For the price, I did some investigating after we had installed the first one. I talked to other people and they were very competitive. There was one place I asked and I was shaking my head because he was far too apart from everybody else. I liked the way the solar tubes were built and how they were made. I like the solar tubes. They called us after they installed it just to ask how we like them. We have absolutely no complaints. They called us if they were already on their way and one time that they were late, they called to apologize. I can’t say enough good words about them. They were professional looking

My solar panels are up, and I'm happy to say I have gotten a credit on my utility bill because of the surplus power generated. Arch Electric took care of all the paperwork and permitting, and the process was rather simple for me. Their sales reps and installers were excellent communicators, and I am happy with how the installation turned out

It was perfect. They are excellent and I would highly recommend them. It provides a lot of lights to the room you installed it in. There are couple of different styles; ours have a fan for our bathroom. But any room that has access through the roof you can install it in and there's time you don't need to put a light on because it is so bright in there

Communication was fantastic throughout the entire process. Every question and concern was addressed. There was much educational and technical information presented along the way so we knew what was happening. The crews were hard working, professional, cleaned up, explained things and they really love their jobs. There were some delays to due supply chain issues for the meters and some weather related issues but we were made aware of those

It turned out good. We’re very happy with the light that was provided. They worked with us to find the right size. We haven’t had any problem with it since. I would recommend this provider.
This company is amazing! I would recommend them 10times over. The job was gone quickly and with such precision. They care about their customers and will go to lengths that most companies, nowadays, have forgotten. The owner himself is not afraid to work hard and do what needs to be done. Sherry was beyond helpful and supportive throughout the process. If you want the job done right, this is your company
Perfect. Great people from start to finish. Charles initial contact. Jill project coordination. Nick installation. Keith electrical. Excellent communication. Regular updates. Flawless installation. Couldn’t be happier.
They went ahead and pulled down the fireplace, They also did the stonework for the fireplace and hearth. Very beautiful job, gorgeous, absolutely stunning. Those guys were working hard and we bought them lunch, They were very upbeat and stayed late to work on this fireplace. Every time they showed up they'd have smile and were a pleasure to work with. Steve, the technician, showed us how to start a fire in the fireplace and how to stack them to ensure a clean fireplace. WE told him that it was something we never knew and it was really cool to see how to keep it clean and use it properly. It is a high end fireplace, and we didn't know you had to burn the wood Vertically. We've been using our fireplace a lkot more, and it burns so much hotter than it ever did. They are a smaller company, family run, but they are really wonderful to work with
We have been installing custom security solutions for costumers in the Wisconsin area for about 5 years. We can install anything from camera systems to window and door alarms. We have done small home or office systems with as little as 2-4 cameras to large installments with as many as 20 cameras, gate controls and video intercoms
The team from Integrated Building Systems were very professional in their installation of both a solar photovoltaic array and a critical load panel that is powered via a battery backup system (automatically tapped during power outages). Darren is a hands-on owner, and was on site for most of the work. He sought out and was very receptive to my input, working with me to choose the best locations for all of the required hardware, taking into account efficiency, convenience, and aesthetics. As with many electrical projects, there was some need to cut holes that required repairs (in our case, in the drywall behind the existing electric supply, to route the solar output down to the meter location), but they were careful to align with the studs, and make precise, square cuts, which made it easier for us to patch and repair. Darren provided a detailed proposal which made it easy to evaluate the bid, and also provided all the required technical information for us to apply for necessary building and zoning permits (this will be specific to your locale). Darren was available (if needed, at an hourly rate) to attend the village meetings during our application process, but we were able to make the necessary presentations without him. ===> In summary, I am very happy with the flexible design of our solution and the resulting installation, and very satisfied with Darren and his team. I highly recommend Integrated Building Systems for your solar project and electrical project needs. <==== More project details follow: our system consists of 24 LG PV panels connected to Iron Ridge racking (3 panels high by 8 wide) sited on our south-facing roof, with an Enphase micro-inverter attached to each panel; these inverter outputs are combined in an attic-installed Enphase IQ Combiner and Envoy. Via the Envoy, our solar production can be monitored via web and smartphone apps. The solar system is grid-connected, and per utility requirements, a "sell" meter and solar panel cutoff were installed near our existing "buy" electric meter. The battery-backup system requires a charger and inverter (we have Magnum equipment to handle battery charging, inverter capabilities, automatic load switching, and battery monitoring). Our 8 rack-installed batteries provide upwards of 1400 (rated) amp hours supporting only a portion of our home circuits; depending upon our energy usage, we estimate perhaps 3 days of usage (in the absence of solar production) with longer duration backup during an outage depending on our ongoing energy consumption, as well as some sunny weather to recharge the batteries. NOTE - it is not necessary to install a battery-backup with a solar PV array. However - perhaps counter intuitively - a grid-connected solar system will not produce power during a power outage. (Grid-connected systems must be designed to automatically stop energy production when the grid is down). In order to produce solar power during a grid outage, you must have an independent source of power (to "trick" the electronics in the micro-inverters, allowing solar power to be produced), along with automatic transfer switches to the alternate power source and to cutoff the new source of power from the grid. Alternate power could be provided by a stand-by generator, or, as we chose, a battery backup. This backup can feed circuits in a critical load panel that is switched between the normal state (grid and/or solar) and outage state (batteries and/or solar). Suggested critical load circuits include those for furnaces, sump-pumps, refrigerators, freezers, microwave, selected light and outlet circuits - including circuits for a TV, radio, computer, and internet router, etc
After receiving quotes and going through a thorough review of 8 companies who do solar installs in the Madison area, we selected ARCH Electric as our vendor of choice and are super glad we did. First off, our sales rep, Stanley, was amazing. He was patient as I asked many questions and very responsive in tweaking the quotes to my requirements (1st star). He wasn't pushy at all, something that I had to deal with from about 50% of the other companies. Once I had a final proposal, the Arch Electric one fell in the middle regarding assumptions around our predicted system output and on the lower side in regards to cost. After 3 months of generation, I can say we have over-produced vs. the predictions (2nd star). In regards to the installation, Arch had completed the install 2 weeks before we were promised (3rd star), and when I noticed a problem during the install, Arch came back a second day to make sure I was 100% pleased, and did so with a smile on their face (4th star). I can also speak to their post-install service and support in that we had a microinverter fail (no fault of Arch's). After informing Stanley of this, Arch was back to our house within 1 week to get our system back up and running at full capacity (5th star). The fact that they have their own staff of techs really benefited us in this case. Beyond that, I also wanted to comment on one of the other major reasons I chose Arch, and that was the technology/quality they offer in their panels. In doing my research, the REC Solar Alpha series panels are market-leading for the latest technology, highest efficiency, and degradation guarantee. You can only find similar performance with Panasonic or LG panels but the REC panels come at a much lower cost. I recommend you do your research into panels when comparing quotes. This was a big differentiator for me. If you are looking at solar for your home, do yourself a favor and make sure you include Arch Electric in your evaluation. You'll be glad you did
My family and I were delighted with the Array Energy sales team and their contracted install team. They taught us about solar and energy trends, answered our questions AND WERE NOT PUSHY!!! The price was fair, the equip is state of the art, not warehouse leftovers and the installation was impressive. I was an entrepreneur for about eight years of my life in strived to bring quality and value and fairness. No company is perfect but Array energy has earned a spot at the table when it comes to solar energy product considerations
I am writing to complain about Jeff Porter. His company is American Solar. In June/08 I had to have my panels taken down for a roof replacement. After a couple of calls Jeff came to take them down and charged me $250.00. He said to call when the roof was replaced and he would come back to reattach the panels. He stated that it would be better if he installed new pipes. I agreed. On 6/26/08 Jeff came back after calling him 2 or 3 times. He then charged me $475.00 to do the plumbing and to put in a new pressure relief at the end of the lower solar panel. Two of the panels have a slight leak so he said he would give me a plug kit to fix them. At the end of the job I told him that it really looked lousy and asked him "If someone asked who did this, would you really want me to tell them that it was done by American Solar?" He agreed and said he would re-do it but he ran out of connectors. Since then I have re-done the panels myself because I was tired of looking at and explaining to neighbors why the pipes looked so goofy. I have called him 6 times and even went to his home to get the plug kit and a special connector that connects from the piping to the rubber connector at the end of the panel because that also has a leak that he installed. He has never called back. When I went to his house 3 days ago, his wife said she would be sure to have him call me. I have had no return call. I even brought him a pic. showing that he did not have to re-do the plumbing, I already repaired it. All I wanted was a connector and the leak repair kit. I am enclosing these pics. to show you the job that he did and the pic. of the way I repaired it. Am I wrong to complain or do I have a valid complaint

What do customers in Milwaukee say about Solar Panel Installation?
George assisted us through the process of getting our solar, he was thorough and answered all the million questions we had with great knowledge. We love our solar, we downloaded the app and we’re able to see how much energy we’re producing and consuming. The nice thing is we’re producing way more than we are consuming.
