The whole experience was a good one overall. They gave me multiple options to select from with different pricing for each option for the ductwork. The installers were helpful and explained what they were doing in detail, as I was curious to why they they put cold air returns in certain locations and ran ducts in each space. I would definitely use the services again and highly recommend Droegkamp to anyone looking at doing any remodeling. They even did some additional work for me, moving a cold air return in the living room for no additional cost.

We hired Capital Heating & Cooling to clean the ductwork in our new house. We assumed they would be full of debris from the construction process, but that was not the case. The technician arrived on time, and did a visual inspection of the ductwork. He informed us that the ductwork was free of visible debris and didn't think they needed to be cleaned. He inserted a camera an showed us video to make sure we were satisfied with his assessment. We sincerely appreciated this honesty and will recommend Capital Heating and Cooling to our friends and family!!

Two employees arrived on time, removed shoes (as asked), and provided an explanation of work to be performed and duration to complete. They provided before and after photos of the inside of the air duct and recommended the time frame for the next cleaning. Their cleanup did not meet our standards by leaving dirt and metal shavings scattered through the basement.

THE DUCTWORK IN MY NEWLY-PURCHASED 1952 HOME HAD NEVER BEEN CLEANED OUT. THE WORKER ARRIVED PRECISELY WHEN HE WAS SUPPOSED TO, WAS VERY EFFICIENT, AND HE TOOK CARE OF GETTING ACCESS TO ALL THE VENTS WITH AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM OF FUSS. I DIDN'T NEED TO DO A THING. THERE WAS NO MESS TO CLEAN UP AND TONS OF DUST, DIRT, ANIMAL HAIR, ETC. WERE REMOVED FROM MY VENTS.

It was a wonderful experience! I knew the air ducts in my recently purchased home had never been cleaned. I have allergies to dust and could tell the quality of the air in this house was poor. I checked out their website prior to calling them, and could tell they had "state of the art" equipment, no shop vacs! The crew was great! They showed up on schedule, and explained everything that they were doing. They were friendly, neat and professional. They showed me before and after pictures of the ductwork. It was amazing! I was unaware of the AC coil and whether it also needed cleaning. They showed me pictures of the AC coil. It looked rusty! In the after pictures everything looked clean. They did an awesome job, and the air quality in my home has noticably improved. I would highly recommend Air Quality Controllers!

Saw before and after photos of ductwork and there was a huge difference. Before was hardly recognizable and after a nice clean duct. Can't say that I notice it on a regular basis, but is makes me feel good to know that I am not breathing in all of that dirt, and dust!

Kelly, along with an assistant, came to clean out the duct work on a home I recently purchased. The home was built in the 1950's and apparently the ductwork had never been cleaned- it was in a really awful state. They were here for almost 5 hours, vacuumed every vent, cleaned the vent grills, and then went into the basement to clean the major supply ducts. A very dirty job for them but I felt much better about the air I was breathing when they had finished. The cost was lower than I expected since Kelly pointed out to me that some of the vents were connected and so they only count that as one. I have only one small critique of how the service could be improved upon and that is that they forgot to move my entertainment center / television back into place after cleaning the living room vents. I would most certainly use this company again and actually signed up for the fall / spring furnace and air conditioning check up service that they offer. .

Recent Review: My dryer was not working properly so Eric stopped by to inspect the situation. He suspected the vent ductwork was plugged up so the dryer was still heating up. He came back another day with new ductwork and attached it to the main vent which which my situation was rather complicated. But the dryer still wasn't working properly so he came out gratis and looked at the situation again. Bottom line it was neither the dryer nor the nearby vent but rather incompetent roofers that failed to install a dryer vent cover in early December when installing a new roof on our 8 unit condo. Within three weeks of the new roof being installed it snowed heavy plugging up the dryer vent. I'd also note that Eric fixed our LG ice maker. The refrigerator/freezer is only 2 years old so Eric suspected the unit was frozen rather than busted. So acting conservatively, I thawed the freezer unit to see if it'd start making ice on it's own. It didn't work so Eric came back out and installed a new ice maker. I appreciated Eric's follow through on both projects. I've been impressed that Eric is not eager to suggest an expensive solution when another conservative solution might work.
