Called Jason and left a message, he called back within a short period of time. I explained the problem (second floor bathroom toilet leaking through first floor garage ceiling). I told him it wasn't an emergency and hopefully it wasn't a huge job either. (I've had problems getting painters, etc. to come out for "small" jobs" - apparently not enough profit for them?) He told me he'd call the following week, which he did. He came out the day after he called and handled the problem. Advised us that the subfloor in the bathroom was a bit "soft" due to the leakage over time (we just bought the house last year but apparently it's not a new issue) and should be replaced eventually, but he secured the toilet well so it would be OK. He left the area above the garage ceiling open so it would dry out and packaged up the wet insulation, etc. for garbage pickup. He was personable and professional, did a nice job and cleaned up after he was done. I'll use him again if I need plumbing help, probably when we redo that bathroom next spring

This provider was referred to us by our Home Warranty company. There were a few things that needed fixing after we moved into our new home. One of our toilets was very difficult to flush. Half the time we had to remove the tank lid to do it. We also had two sinks whose drain plungers weren't working. The fellow who came out was nice enough, but my biggest complaint is that he was too distracted. He received at least a half dozen phone calls for the duration of his visit. He did apologize, stating that his boss was out of the office and that he was left in charge. It was frustrating, however, because for the work he did, he could've done it in half the time had he not been on the phone so much. And, to boot, he didn't even fix the toilet problem. He adjusted the chain, test the flushing once, and said it was fixed. Shortly after he left, 2-3 flushes in, we were having the same exact problem. We called for a recall service...and had to wait another couple of days since this was through the home warranty company. The second fellow looked at the toilet, and immediately knew the stopper had to be replaced. It took him all of two minutes to fix the problem...something the other guy could've done had he been paying attention. So, not a terrible experience, but could've been better. I wouldn't choose this company on my own

Highly recommend. We have old pipes and new low-flow toilets. Apparently this is not a good combination. We had sewer backup at the drain. Less than 2 hours from discovery and phone call to completion of job. I thought the price was fair for an emergency service call. I tried to replace a shutoff valve myself and of course that didn't goes as planned! I called Dave first thing Friday morning in the fear of being without water throughout the weekend. Dave said that he fit me into his schedule for the day and even accommodated working around my countertops guys. When Dave arrived he was all business, very impressed with how much he got done in the short time he was here. Definitely would use him again or refer to others.

I developed a clogged toilet and, after repeatedly using the plunger, it still overflowed when I flushed it. I called Roto-Rooter of Elgin and they came out within 2 hours. The "technician," Leonard, used his power snake to attempt to clear the obstruction and, when that didn't work, he removed the toilet from the bathroom, took it outside, and used the snake and the water hose to clear the obstruction, which had been wedged hard inside the toilet. Instead of replacing the toilet (the bowl of which was now severely scratched due to the vigorous use of the snake), I decided to replace the toilet. Suspecting that I would be overcharged if I bought a replacement toilet from Roto-Rooter, I made a quick run to Menard's and purchased a new toilet. By that time, Leonard had called for back-up and, when I arrived back home, his colleague Luigi had joined him. Between the two of them, they installed the new toilet. The service call lasted for 4 hours and they had the nerve to charge me $800.00!!!! The next day, I noticed a subtle dripping sound while in the bathroom and discovered that the floor behind the toilet was wet. I wiped up the water and put a pan behind the toilet to catch any more water. I little while later, I went down to the basement and found that water was dripping from around the sewer pipe connecting to the toilet. I called Roto-Rooter back and, a couple of hours later, Brad arrived. He was able to identify the improperly-installed toilet tank, fixed it, and stopped the leak. Because the original work the day before was under warranty, the second service call was free. I won't be calling Roto-Rooter back for future plumbing problems. I feel that I was totally ripped off by paying as much as they charged me for, basically, replacing the old toilet with one that I provided! Since this incident, I've been referred to a friend-of-a-friend who knows plumbing who would have charged me $100.00 to replace the toilet. I'm calling him next time

Repairs were completed in a timely manner. Both bathroom and kitchen are working well and we are happy with the repairs. The "B" in punctuality was because our appointment was at noon and the repair guys didn't show up until 1:30 pm. We had to call them to find out where they were and when they would be arriving. The "C" in professionalism was because of the foul language used in our home while the work was being completed. I realize that may not bother some folks which is why I included it in this comentary. In every other way they were professional

Don was very prompt in returning my phone call, and was able to schedule an appointment the next day. He replaced the ring and the mounting hardware on the toilet, which solved the leaking

I had Steve unclog my toilet just after Thanksgiving ($160), and he warned me that there may be trouble ahead. Unfortunately, he was right, so today he replaced my toilet completely.I called yesterday and we set up the time for him to come, but when I calculated my day using reality, I discovered that I wouldn't be able to be home at the original time. Steve was flexible and able to move his schedule to fit my chaos. The price surprised me a bit, but I got a really good toilet, and since it is the only toilet in the home, it needs to be good. I admit that I'm not great at asking for details in terms of price, so I can't differentiate the cost of the toilet vs. the cost of the labor. Great customer service is worth the price, however

What do customers in Milwaukee say about Repair Toilet?
While the service they did was OK, we asked for quotes on two other jobs. The plumber took pictures and said they would get back to us. They did no. At about 2 weeks, we called and asked if they could return our call and give us the estimate on the two other jobs.THEY NEVER GOT BACK TO US. We will not use them again since they don't seem to care about having out business.
