I can't recommend Thoughtful Craftsmen/CBR enough. We bought a home that needed a lot of work and the window tuning and painting was the first thing we did. We weren't living in the home at the time, so relied on Erik and his crew to let us know how much work each window needed. We trusted their judgement after discussing the scope of work we envisioned and could not be happier with the work that was done. This was a very large project and when we finally moved in, the difference was stunning. We also had a new porch roof and copper gutters installed. We get so many compliments on the copper! If you own an older home you want to hire a company who knows what they are doing and isn't going to do more than what you want done. CBR's work is top notch and I can't give enough stars to the whole crew

VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. ERIC THE ROOFER PROVIDED US WITH THREE OPTIONS FOR REPAIRING THE ROOF, FROM CHEAPEST TO MOST EXPENSIVE. Wonderful! This winter the ice backed up under the eves of the porch and when the thaw came started running through the side and porch ceiling ultimately running down the front door. We just wanted a repair done as we were planning on replacing the roof in a couple of years. We contacted AD Roofing and they came they came out right away and explained what needed to be done. We got a quote within a day or 2 of the visit. And we were quickly put on their schedule. Their work was very professional and you can't tell where the repair was done. Clean up was excellent. We will be contacting them when it is time to get the roof replace

They promptly came to our house for an estimate and told us that there would be about a 6-week lead time in getting the new roof (special order required). About 5-weeks later we contacted them to determine if the install would be done and shortly thereafter it was. The old roof was removed, the parts taken away and the new roof was installed. Scott cleaned all of our gutters which were long overdue and took home one of our downspouts to have it thaw out overnight in his garage at no extra charge. He spotted an area on the porch roof that appeared to be the source of a leak, repaired it, and did not charge us until he we saw what happened with the next rain storm. If we never use Angie's List again (which is highly unlikely), finding Scott was well worth the price of joining

I called AD Roofing in the end of May to have an roof inspection done due to leaks; an appointment was made for that same week. The estimator walked around the roof, took pictures, and assessed where the problems were. We received an estimate a few days later which included the pictures taken. Due to scheduling, the soonest the project could be done was July 6th. The repairs were done on July 11th, a few days later than scheduled probably due to all the rain we were having. There were two gentlemen that came to do the work. They were prompt and courteous. They cleaned up after the work was done. I would definitely hire them again

He did a great job of explaining our options, his roofing products and process. His pricing was competitive. We have a 1600 sq ft ranch house with a 2.5 car attached garage, hip roof. (The work needed to be done before it got too cold because of the materials used on the porch roof.) There was some water damage on the porch roof, and he replaced that wood at no extra charge. Everything was done with very little inconvenience to us. We are very happy with the way the things turned out. The new roof has greatly improved the appearance of our home! And we feel more secure going into another winter, without any worries about ice and water problems
