They came for an initial estimate and explanation of the product. I had gotten other estimates and Invisible Fence was the most reasonable. I schedule the installation and the 2 training sessions that were included in my purchase. For each appointment they were on time and very efficient. It was raining the day the fence was installed but they still came and installed it without one complaint...even though he was soaked by the end! :) The people who came to give the lessons were very friendly and were great with my dog. They explained everything clearly and answered any questions I had. I was very pleased with the service and am very pleased with the product. My dog has not tried to leave the yard once

PETER (THE OWNER) IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, INCLUDED A SEASONAL DISCOUNT, AND WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING TO MY SCHEDULE (CAME OUT ON SUNDAY TO PROVIDE ESTIMATE). HE IS ALSO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT DOG BEHAVIOR AND PROVIDED VALUABLE TRAINING INSIGHTS. I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE FENCE SYSTEM THAT ALLOWS MY DOG TO RUN FREE ON THE PROPERTY WITHOUT THE CHANCE THAT SHE WILL RUN INTO THE STREET OR BE A NUISANCE TO MY NEIGHBORS

We called in January/early February to price out in ground dog fences and the owner was very knowledgeable. I thought I'd have to wait until spring, but he offered to lay the wire on the grass and said he would save $200 of the bill after he came in spring and buried the line. He was quick, very friendly and even trained our dog using his dog. Our dog picked it up quickly as we had the fence at the old house. As we had such warm weather and the grass grew quickly, the neighbor accidentally mowed over our line before he could bury it. My husband was able to patch the wire (although the owner had offered to come out first thing to fix it) which kept it working until in a day later, the owner came and buried the line. He was so fast and efficient and I appreciated that he took care of everything so fast! I would definitely recommend this company!! Thanks so much for the great product and great service!

They were one and a half hours late for the appointment, then seemed to rush off after collecting my check. I guess his thinking was that I wouldn't mind that the fence he just installed only worked on three sides of my house. Jay mentioned in passing while cleaning up his materials that my fence wasn't exactly in working order upon completion of the installation. He instructed me to contact the company to obtain a different transmitter, as the one I had interfered with my neighbor's. (He advised me that he could make the ''upgrade'' for an extra $250). I had no idea about this issue beforehand, and this is an issue I would think a professional installer would check out prior to installing and completing $400 worth of work. If you have a three sided house and you need an electric dog fence, he may be person for you

Installation was smooth. They placed the fence exactly were they said the would with little disruption to the lawn. The training by invisible fence people with our dog worked well and she learned the boundries after only two lessons. We bought a package that included more lessons but since our dog didn't need it the offered to refund the difference or provide us with extra batteries

Jay was great to work with. He showed up on time. Walked me through the problems with the fence and repaired them. He was fast, clean and very nice. The fence is repaired and I don't have a dog running through the fence any longer.

We highly recommend this company, and are extremely pleased with the service and with the trainers. The service was prompt and it took only a few hours to install. Each employee was extremely courteous and informative. Our dogs have never tried to break through the boundary and I'm convinced it is because of the guidance with training. The only problem we encountered was that we accidentally had them install the control unit in a wall-switch controlled outlet. They came back out and moved it to a different outlet; again, very prompt service. We purchased the battery replacement service, which provides us new batteries every three months. We received our first shipment on time, as promised. This was definitely worth the time and the money. Instead of having dogs that run out after joggers, etc., we now have dogs that can run outside and are under control. They are much happier, get more exercise and play time, and we have a much greater peace of mind

The trainer they sent was very friendly and informative. My issue was that we purchased three one-hour lessons, with the option to purchase more. Those one hour lessons amounted to about 15 minutes each of actual working time with the dog. At the end of our three day period, the trainer was confident that we no longer needed training. Our dog would stop where she should and we were done. I told the trainer that she still breaks out when she sees a bird, rabbit or squirrel. I told this to him at the beginning of the third lesson. He told me, "I'm in this area a lot, give me a call and I'll up the shock (from the collar) if it's still a problem." A few weeks went by and it was still a problem, so I finally called IF of Badgerland. They told me that it would be an $80 (I believe that was the price) for someone to come out and up the correction. OR, I could mail the collar in. I was so dumbfounded that they were going to charge me $80, that at that moment I couldn't do anything. The trainer made it seem, like no big deal, he'd stop by. A year later (and the collar at it's max) our golden retriever still breaks the fence when she sees something. That's not their problem, it's just frustrating. We started with IF in Virginia, paid a $500 training fee, and they came out three times after training was complete- at no charge, to work with our bloodhound at the time that kept breaking through. That was about 10 years ago. Maybe the Virginia franchise is more accommodating, but I feel like IF is all about nickel and diming the customer at this point

Pete Harvey was on time, polite, professional, and just a real nice guy! He has 3 dogs of his own so he understands how important it is to keep our 4 legged family members safe. I did get other estimates on electric fencing but felt he was the best person for the job, his price was competitive and he was personable and sincerely wanted to sell us the best system for our dogs. We have a 97 pound dog and a 6 pound dogs so our concerns where varied. He was also willing to make any adjustment needed after the sale

He went above and beyond. His price is so reasonable. He has a special introductory rate which is I think $20 an hour otherwise it is $25 an hour. And the whole probably took two weeks and he only charged us thinking it would only take me 4-5 hours. I just gave him a big tip. He is a very, very nice guy. He goes above and beyond. He went to the hardware store and got more supplies and asked us if we need anything else that he could pick up for us. He also sticks to his words and his quotes
ONE PERSON WAS VERY DELAYED IN RETURNING CALLS. HOWEVER, OTHERS WERE PROMPT AND VERY HELPFUL. THE TWO YOUNG WOMEN WHO CAME TO TRAIN WERE WONDERFUL BOTH ON SITE HERE WITH THE DOG AND ON THE PHONE ANSWERING QUESTIONS.
They came and asked me what I wanted. They gave me options which were good because I was just going to do the back of my house. They told me how I could extend it to the front and it wasn't going to cost me anymore money to do that either. They do it based on how many feet of wire you need so that was really good. I got my entire front and back done without having to pay any extra. I had to pay the same amount if I just did the back. The other thing that they did is after they installed and tested it; they actually came out and worked with my dog. They also showed me how to continue to work with him so that he would learn about the fence so that was really nice too. The price was pretty good considering what it would have cost me to put up a privacy fence which would have been my other option. I just knew that they had a good reputation because I had checked with my neighbors who had invisible fences. After talking to them and talking to some of the other companies I felt that they would give me the best service which they have been exceptional as well. When they did cable work and cut my wire they were out like within forty eight hours to fix it. They were very punctual

Chris Oberndorfer, the owner, was able to replace our deck and brick patio himself with some assistance from his crew at times. He is highly skilled in his trade, and we are very pleased with the result of his work for us.
Working with Tony and his wife was easy and made the process go great. My wife and I recently got a puppy, and wanted a fence to allow the puppy to run freely in our yard. Tony came in, gave us a quote, and talked with us for 20 minutes on exactly what we were looking for. His team was punctual and did great work, and they even follow up after you pay to make sure that your fence is exactly what you were looking for (not many places do this anymore). Highly recommend
Pete came and gave an estimate and worked with me to get what I wanted at the best possible price. His quote was considerably less than a competitor's, though he included the gates and the electric box, and putting up two rows of wire for each of the pastures. Two young men, sometimes three, came to work on the fence. The longest time was spent putting in the posts. There were a lot of them and the ground was very rocky. The guys were friendly but worked hard. Pete came by several times to check on things. The project took longer than estimated because of the rocky ground, and there were several rainy days, but the rest of the time the guys stayed at it. My husband and I were out of town several days, and when we came home the fence was finished! So, they had kept at it while we were gone (they knew we would be out of town). As my husband checked over the fence he noticed a couple of things that weren't exactly right (i.e. one small area of electric wire wasn't working, the electric fence box kept popping our breaker). It turned out the popping breaker was because of a bad outlet, nothing to do with Roth Fence and the other problems were taken care of the same day by Pete. Pete was friendly and professional and knew his stuff. We were lucky to find him. Originally, the people we approached from Angie's list did fencing for homes, not animals, but Angie's list found Pete for us. Thanks!
