Recent Review: Siding and Windows Group did an expert job at transforming our home from a cottage-like Craftsman to the Modern Farmhouse we envisioned. We asked alot of them and are very particular in our requests. From overhauling the exterior siding; to rebuilding the roof above our entry; to changing the traditional shingle roofing to metal roofing; or to removing unnecessary pillars and generally cleaning up the previous owner's style, they executed our plans flawlessly. The quality of their work is exceptional and they worked with us every step of the way to address any concerns we had or to gain our input on the best way to handle situations as they arose. Any complications were quickly addressed and their team was always very friendly and professional. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and will definitely be using them again!

Recent Review: The crew showed up right on time, shortly after 7:00 am on July 24. They went right to work, and kept at it until the job was finished, more than 10 hours later. They were all polite and respectful, and mindful that they were in a quiet, residential neighborhood. I was impressed by the work ethic of these young men! They did a great job roofing our house and garage. Scott came the following day to check the job, do any necessary touchups, and make a final sweep of our yard for residual nails. If it weren't for the lovely new roof, we wouldn't even know they'd been here.

Recent Review: They were very prompt and informative in providing the estimate and responding to follow up questions. While the job was then delayed because of weather, they kept us informed. Both the work crew and the overall work were excellent. My only complaint is that it was difficult to contact responsible people during and after the job to check up on issues as they developed as there was not a foreman on site and they did not return calls.

Recent Review: This is actually the second time we have used ACT for a roof repair on different areas and types of roofing (Shingle and flat rubber). They were prompt with their estimate and accomodating on scheduling. Other roofers did not even bother to respond. The price was extremely competitive and fair. Very easy to deal with.

Recent Review: I live in the Bridgeport area and with the strong wind blew shingles off my roof. Sam and his crew came out went up there on my roof and provided us with pictures before work was done. Work was done. Excellent and affordable job. We would definitely hire again.

Recent Review: I chose Empire to complete a roofing and siding project for my home after 2 other estimates from companies. The salesperson (Erik) was friendly, knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained everything they had to offer. They definitely promote the higher end product line, but were willing to do whatever I was comfortable with. I did choose the CraneBoard siding and Owens Corning Duration shingles and was given a fair price for better product compared to the other estimates I had. Color and style were next, and the options on that were amazing also. Once everything was finalized, I assumed I would need to wait until Spring to get everything started. I was told they would be able to start as soon as the materials came in, and they didn't stop working just because it was winter. It was a big job, and they sent a sizable work crew to make sure everything was done in a timely fashion. The installers did a good job, kept my yard clean, and even came in two weekends in a row because the weather was nice. The only mishap was a broken storm window during the roof tear off. They took it out and had it fixed, then broke it putting it back in. It came out again, was repaired and reinstalled. Also, throughout the entire process the communication was excellent. Melissa and Erik were always available to answer questions or provide updates, even later in the evening or the weekend. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and the entire process, and am already looking to use Empire again on other projects.

Recent Review: Removed old roofs and replaced with new decking, under layer and shingles. Very efficient and timely. Clean up was done well. Great work. Great roof!

Recent Review: It was a pleasure working with G and K Roofing. G and K's owner provided detailed explanations before the work and carefully monitored the work progression. The crew was very conscientious and friendly. Replacing a roof is not something one does very often and can be daunting but the G and K's owner was supportive and made the process go smoothly, addressing any hiccups or concerns as the work progressed. The scheduling was perfect for my needs and all work was completed on time. The new roof looks great!

Recent Review: This winter our house lost some shingles during a bad wind storm. The resulting hole in the roof created a leak. This caused damage in one of the bedrooms on the second floor. When we contacted roofing companies they pointed out the power lines. They ran very close to the house and had to be moved before any work could be done. Meanwhile the roof continued to leak while causing more damage. We hired Elite Exteriors LLC based on a recommendation through Angie's List, their years in business and price. They immediately sent a man over to temporarily fix the leak with flex seal. I contacted We Energies to move the power lines so the roofers could work. After the power lines were relocated Elite Exteriors came back. They tore off the old roof and replaced with new shingles. They removed and replaced the existing sky light as promised. Our contact man Zach Davis, was very responsive, he returned all of my calls keeping us informed of the job progress. Even though it was winter they did a great job. They cleaned up all debris before leaving. We are very happy with the roof and it looks great.
