Dave, the owner, made two visits. First to assess what was needed and then to do the actual work. He was very prompt and always returned calls quickly. Our previous locks were supposed to use one key but they were'nt working and replacement keys from the hardware store did not work after awhile. Dave installed an electronic deadbolt lock on the door leading to the garage and that works out great. No more looking for keys. He also told us not to change one lock since it wasn't used that often. Thought his price was fair considering the amount of time he spent here and the quality of his work. Would recommend him to anyone

I sent the email at 3:30 on a Friday indicating we'd like the work done within the week, but no rush. They replied within 10 minutes and we agreed to talk on Monday about setting up a time. I called on Monday and set up a 9:00 appointment on Tuesday. David showed up promptly, made some good suggestions on how best to secure our home, and all the work was done within 40 minutes. He did his work promptly and without disturbing me. Very professional

Estimator arrived on time for the appointment. Measurements took about 5 minutes. We were a bit limited in our options for the replacement door because of our garage opening height. Choose a and quot;paneland quot; style steel door and standard/contractor grade opener from Chamberlain. Service was scheduled within 10 days of getting the estimate. Installer arrived on time, removed old door, track, and opener. Installed new track, opener and support brackets, door, keypad, and inside opener. The job took about 4 hours. Installer was professional and did an excellent job. We're still very satisfied 6 months (and one awful winter) later

Joe's Professional Door & Window Installation
A year ago, we needed a consult on a lock installed by another service provider. Joe offered his opinion and a recommended solution. When the first company disagreed with Joe’s assessment, Joe offered to call them to explain it in technical terms. He didn’t charge us for the consult or the call. We recently had Joe in to trim 5 doors, install a keypad lock. He also fixed a pocket door and 2 bifold doors which were installed poorly by another contractor and were scraping paint off the doors. Our garage door shifts up and down in the cold/heat cycles and Joe fabricated a strike plate to accommodate. He also tweaked 2 other handle assemblies. He educated us on mortise locks (we have old style hardware, probably original 1926), explaining which ones could probably be fixed and which would likely have to be replaced. Joe impressed us with his professionalism, his ability to explain our options, and his responsiveness

He arranged to come out that day for an estimate, which I was impressed with during a holiday week. After our meeting, he arranged for the installers to work on 1/2/2010, which was a Saturday, at no extra cost to me. The installation took about four hours. I find the system very simple to use. At work the next week, my co-worker told me Tom Brueckner is his wife's uncle and I had gone with a good company. That was very reassuring, too

We used Whitlow to remove a broken key from our patio door lock. I called to explain the issue. Spencer was great and had me text in images. I then brought in the cylinder with the broken key. Luke removed it quickly and without issue for a great price. Their shop was clean and modern and they offer a variety of service. I highly recommend them
