They said we would get the spa in 4 weeks and it took 8 weeks. Some of the delay may have been because of the hurricanes.

Paul from Bakers had performed some service for me over the winter when I had problem with a leaky and nearly frozen hot tub. Paul was very helpful giving advice over the phone and ended up replacing the heater for me. Recently the circuit breaker started tripping and I called again to get advice. Paul was helpful and me some tips to troubleshoot myself. I couldn't figure it out and scheduled a service call. Paul came over and took a look and discovered that the circuit breaker itself was bad. Paul gave me a contact to get the breaker replaced. On his way out I asked how much the service call would be and he said no charge. I would highly recommend Bakers Pool and Fitness to anyone needing pool or spa service

Since the hot tub is installed inside our home this was not a simple remove the old hot tub, and drop off a new one, an entire wall of our solarium needed to be temporarily removed to get the new hot tub in and installed. The Electrician needed to be coordinated, along with the carpenter as there is custom cedar decking around the entire tub. Chris and his Team at Poolside took care of everything including removal of the old hot tub coordinating with the Electrician and carpenter, and installation of the new tub. The project could not have gone smoother than it did. I highly recommend them to everyone

He was great! We agreed to meet at 10 and when I arrived he had already discovered the problem. We discussed best solution and proceeded with such. Had it done in a half hour! He also provided me with a clean bill of health as to the hot tub which was reassuring as I am selling it and wanted to make sure it was working properly. I would NOT hesitate to contact Reidy Spa Services again

I needed someone to inspect a hot tub at a house I was planning on buying. I'm completely clueless when it comes to hot tubs so I called Baker Pool & Fitness based on the reviews I saw on angieslist. I was not disappointed and happy I selected them! Their customer service was outstanding and even made time to help me within 24 hours since I was on a tight timeline. Paul came out to the house and inspected the hot tub for me. He tested everything and gave a detailed explanation of the issues he found. I will definitely use them for any future needs and highly recommend their services. Thanks Baker Pool & Fitness for making my home buying experience a good one

I called the service manager, Mike, to discuss the discrepancies with their estimate and the cost of their estimate vs the three other companies that I had inspect the hot tub. He refused to send out his technician, Rick, for a free evaluation and refused to refund my payment for their inital service call because I did not pay them to perform the $3000+ service. Rick is their only technician and Mike continually said "he has 26 years experience" and did not explain to me why three other companies disagreed. We bought the hot tub from Aqua Spa and have had them do regular service work on it before, but never have I experienced the unethical and poor customer service as I did from Rick and Mike. We are investigating taking this company to small claims court due to the documentation and support from other companies

I called and left a message with Scott that my spa was leaking inside the housing behind the pump and needed an evaluation and possible repair. He got back to me promptly and made an appointment to look at it within a day or two of the call. I had originally called the company where I had purchased the spa and they said they were very busy and it would be at least a week if not 2 weeks to look at it. Scott determined the extent of the leak as being cracked pipes and we scheduled a time when he would come back with the parts and repair it. The repair appointment was delayed because of bad weather which was totally understandable. He was concerned that he wanted to do the repair right and the weather needed to be better. He came back with all the parts, took everything apart and installed the new parts. While he was working and while the spa was filling, we spent a considerable amount of time talking about the best ways to run a spa and how the use of chemicals could be reduced considerably. Scott is very knowledgeable about spas and is happy to share his expertise with his customers. With his advise, I will be able to save a considerable amount of money on chemicals for the spa. I had not used the spa for almost a year because a previous leak had been repaired by the company that sold me the spa, but it never totally stopped leaking and it was very inconvenient to keep refilling the spa. It was either find someone who could repair it totally within an acceptable price or get rid of the spa. Scott saved the spa, saved me a bunch of money on chemicals and got everything back up and working in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone in need of spa and hot tub repairs

HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT AND PATIENT! HE DEFINITELY TOOK A PERSONAL INTEREST IN MAKING THINGS RIGHT. PARTICULARLY SINCE OUR SPA WAS OLDER AND NOT A STRAIGHT FORWARD JOB, I THINK MANY CONTRACTORS MIGHT HAVE LOST INTEREST! WE COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED WITH SCOTT'S WORK AND HIS HONESTY AND INTEGRITY. I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED FRIENDS TO HIM

We hired Aqua-Fun Pools to install the new hot tub we purchased. We confirmed with them the move date that worked for our schedule three weeks out, one week out, and 24 hours in advance. During each phone call, site visit, and email they agreed they would complete the installation as discussed on the date desired. Two hours after the truck delivered the hot tub to our driver way the General Manager Jim decided he was no longer interested in doing the installation on any date leaving us with a brand new hot tub sitting in the center of our driveway. After repeated request for him to reconsider he advise we call someone else. Aqua-Fun Pools is ran by unethical liars who leave you high and dry. Spend your money anywhere else

Needed my hot tub repaired. Tech was very polite and solved the problem. The problem is when I got the bill they overcharged me 1 hour in tech time. I have video proof of when the tech arrived and left, but they refused to adjust their bill. Additionally, the repair part is available from multiple sources on the Internet for $170, but they charged me $218, a 28% markup. I will find a different plumber for future work

TJ was clear and thorough in his explanations. He answered all our questions and raised other considerations we had not thought of. We decided on a different brand/ model of hot tub because it more closely matches our preferences. Wolf's Sundance would have been our second choice. It would have been a satisfactory choice, but we decided the other was better for us. We would have felt entirely comfortable working with Wolf Pool and Spa if we had not preferred the competing product

Service call went great, I hovered as the crew preformed their work and eavesdropped as they were in contact with the manufacture to trouble shoot the problem. They spent about a 1/2 hour and determined that my pump motor was shot. These basically plug into the control panel motor with a couple of plumbing connections. I had asked them to price the motor for me (little bit of a challenge as I had already replaced the pump on it). They knew my plans to install this myself. Got a call 2 working days later quoting me prices of $550 dollars for a new (5hp) motor to match the pump I installed, or $500 dollars to buy the same pump and motor as was originally installed. Opted to purchase a (5hp) motor from Spa Depot in Olympia WA for $234, including shipping, which matches the pump I had purchased from Spa Depot. Would have gladly paid a bit more to have purchased the motor from Total Pool Care, but not twice the price. The less then stellar rating is solely due to the price differences between them and Spa Depot

Shortly after delivery of our new hot tub, the radio went berserk. It shot up to max volume and we could not regain control of the volume without cutting power to the Tub. When I called Allied pools where we bought it, they tried to pawn us off on some sublet company to come out and diagnose the problem. We called that company and were told we had to pay them $40.00. They have been out 3 times and the defect is unresolved. To add insult to injury, they want $40.00 every time they send the repairman out. No where in the warranty does it state that we as the customer have to pay for warranty service. The "Assistant Managers" (who are as far as we get when we ask for someone in charge) refuse to let us speak to the owner or have him/her call us as requested. I buy a lot of stuff from a wide variety of companies and cannot remember ever having service this bad when the solution is so simple - fix the defective product without extorting $40.00 out of the customer. Bad press is not worth $40.00

We bought out hot tub there and they have been extremely kind and questions that we've had about it, giving us the best equipment to use with it. They will even call out a reminder when it's about time to generally replace filters and stuff. It's a smaller business so they are very nice. Their location is very convenient for us. When we go in it was very homey and friendly
Chris and Marcus Cusatis were great to work with. The crews were punctual and professional and we are very happy with the quality of their work. We would highly recommend them and have already to neighbors in our subdivision.
We are so pleased with the professionalism and quality of our installation. The process was clear, we knew what to expect and what was expected of us. They took care to leave minimal damage (which is amazing considering the spring time wetness) and had quick follow-up to any concerns we had. I would highly recommend Pool Wizards to anyone looking for pool installations, questions, repairs, etc. Very knowledgeable and you can tell they enjoy their work
Terrible! Wish I had gone with another company. Here is the issue with Heavenly Heat. If your sauna arrives damaged or and issue arrives -- they have zero technical support. Your repairs will be done by any "joe" that heavenly heat finds to do the repair in your area. They will have no experience with Sauna's and are given no instructions regarding the chemical free aspect of these sauna's. The worst part is the buyer, me, was treated as if I was the problem for wanting my sauna repaired correctly. I would have refused the delivery had I realized I was receiving a damaged sauna and would have to spend hours and days trying to get this resolved. The owner, Bob Morgan, is extremely responsive before he has your money but after, is a different story. When inquiring about the sauna he would respond generally within 10 minutes. After you purchase, and particularly if you have a problem with it, you are treated as if you're a nuisance. My sister bought a competitors sauna around the same time and the service she received from knowledgable representatives was a world of difference from my experience. My other issue was that there were shipping delays and Bob would never communicate them. I would have to pursue him to get information. I think they make a decent sauna but I would not recommend for reasons stated above
When we arrived in the Quad Cities. We had jobs, but no place to live. We had only a few days before the moving truck would arrive behind us with all of our things. Once we found a place to rent, the moving truck showed the next day, but without a ramp to unload everything. The ramp finally showed days later in just enough time to have the family (who came to town specifically to help us unload) help us unload for 20 minutes before they had to leave to go home. We were stuck and frustrated. As I contemplated moving our heaviest items into the 2-story house we had just rented (with only my pregnant wife and our 1-year-old being the only people I knew in town), I knew we needed help. Mel was a life-saver. He called me back within 30 minutes of me leaving a message, assessed our needs and decided to shift personell around on jobs so he could assist us personally. The next day Mel showed up with another employee and proceeded to unload the whole truck in record time. THey unloaded items into specific rooms throughout our house and didn't shy away from the large and heavy items. They did all of this in high heat and humidity and with a cheerful spirit and a good dose of humor. We had a wonderful experience with Mel's Movers and will happily hire them again any time we need their services
We researched our pool options. When we went to Tropical, Annette was very experienced and answered our questions. She even offered some extra's which would be nice options for pools. When we left we felt strongly we would go with Tropical. We returned 2 weeks later to sign the paperwork and put a down payment. We thought everything was clear. When the pool was up and we went over it with Don, the installer & part owner, we did not have any of the options. We pulled out the contracts and did not pay for them either, he pointed out. Bottom line....We got the very basic model, not what we wanted, but what we were quoted. We felt very upset and tricked. Then, we had a leak. We called twice, both times Annette said she would contact Don, who was on a job. Finally, I went in to their store with a video of the issue. The next day Don came out, looked at it and said he would be out the next day to replace the attachment. Once he came and fixed the leak, no issue. Now, 2 months later, we have 1 large "drop" and a few skips on the bottom. One of their selling points was great installation. They sell and install. We thought that was a great point as well. Bottom line, I don't know if one pool company is better than the next. The other companies we spoke to contracted out installation
THERE WAS A SMALL LEAK WHEN WE FIRST STARTED IT UP, PROBABLY FROM THE ROUGH TRIP DOWN THE HILL. BUT THEY PROMPTLY CAME OUT AND REPAIRED IT. THEY DO USE OUTSIDE PEOPLE FOR SERVICE SO SOMETIMES GETTING QUESTIONS ANSWERED & CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE NOT GREAT.
