Everdry Waterproofing Wisconsin

It has been ten years since Everdry worked on our crawl space which flooded once or twice per year. It has remained dry!! We have not had any water in the crawl space since work was done in 2009. Excellent company to work with.

I called to schedule an appointment to have them view the basement and provide me with options to address the current situation. Unfortunately they refused to schedule the appointment without my both my wife and I being present. I informed them my wife was not interested and I will be determining what action will taken therefore they declined to setup the appointment. I do not have an issue with then requesting both of us be present but I was surprised that they would turn away a customer who would not conform to their policy. I have not worked with Everdry before but this appeared to be a pressure tactic

Dry Otter Basement Waterproofing LLC
5.0
Nick at Dry Otter was great to work with, as well as the entire crew. He provided a VERY reasonable quote for the work done and was prompt about returning my calls and answering questions. Their quote came in thousands of dollars less than others we had received! They arrived by 7:30 in the morning and were done by 1:30pm, having completed the work and cleaned up in the basement. They were very careful about making sure they didn't make a mess in other areas of the house. The 5 workers that fixed the basement were all very friendly. It went even better than I had hoped. I would recommend Dry Otter to anyone who needed basement work!! Thanks!

Harrison's Cleanup & Restoration
5.0
This company is absolutely amazing. We had a pipe burst in our basement, and the result was a tremendous amount of water damage, personal artifacts destroyed, and an exorbitant amount of mold in the basement ceiling. The pipe that burst was in a crawl space, in the unfinished part of the basement; however Harrison's found that the water had snaked its way through the crawl space, and got behind the drywall and under the laminate flooring in the finished part of the basement. He used pieces of equipment that determined the amount of moisture in the floors and the drywall. He set up a number of high-powered fans which were hooked up to a hepa-filtration system, brought in heaters and commercial-grade dehumidifiers to help dry it out, and came back to check on the basement everyday for 6days, until the moisture issue was corrected. He found that the insulation was soaked, and discovered even more mold behind that. He worked closely with our insurance agent, and was beyond professional in every aspect. I should tell you that we initially hired Service Masters out of New Berlin, and they proved to be incapable, and lacked any knowledge. (I will be leaving service masters a review on their page as well). Dont waste your time calling anyone else, Harrison's Restoration went above and beyond our expectations, and we are very satisfied

The following letter was sent to John at Milwaukee Handyman on October 1, 2011. It is now November 25, 2011, and I have not received any response. I WILL NEVER USE MILWAUKEE HANDYMAN AGAIN. "Dear John: On July 23, 2011, Mike McCarthy came to my home and gave me an estimate for work to be done, and performed the work originally requested. Three items were added as he was doing the work: replacement of a board that got cracked in removal to view the area under patio door - checking for holes a rodent might get in; When re-installing insulation in crawl space after the holes were filled with concrete and foam, new insulation was used instead of the insulation that was removed to get at the holes. also, once the deck boards were removed to inspect for holes under the deck (part of the original estimate), the board at the bottom of the patio door frame was replaced. Less than five minutes after I called you with my credit card number to pay the $960 bill, I called you back and informed you I thought the bill was too high and to not put the charge through to my credit card. You told me you had processed the payment already, but 'Mike would not be paid until I was satisfied', implying there was a possibliilty of refund in the form of a check from Milwaukee Handyman. On July 28, 2011, I wrote you a detailed email regarding the amount of my bill and concerns that I had. In that email I described what my original estimate was ('net no more than $475; net as low as $450'), and the additional work performed by Mike. Post-marked July 28, 2011 PM, I received a copy of the final billl and payment. It's very difficult to read or understand. It appears that $460 goes to Handyman, but there is an additional $875 labor charge. The written estimate I'd received on July 23, 2011 described 'Labor Requirements' and 'Labor Estimate' again, 'net no more than $475 and net as low as $450.' On 8/2/11, I called you and once again described my concerns and . . . requested you come to my home, review the work Mike had done, and tell me if the cost should've doubled with the replacement of two boards and using clean insulation instead of dirty. You indicated you were very busy the next two weeks, but would try to 'squeeze me in' to check Mike's work. . . Last week, I had foam insulation sprayed into the crawl space where Mike supposedly sealed the holes. When they removed the insulation, there were visible holds to the outside. This week I had another handyman re-cut the router the board on the deck Mike replaced so it would match the other boards. Also, he moved the boards so they were evenly spaced and put screws back where Mike had left holes. (He had not replaced all the screws when he put the boards back.) My final bill, on the high end, should've been $675 - not $960, and that's if the work was done right. Having to hire someone to fix the job shows it was not done well. Your lack of customer service and concern for my satisfaction is distressing. Milwaukee Handyman owes me at least $300. I am writing this letter to give you one last opportunity for service recovery. Your prompt response with my refund would be greatly appreciated. - signed Debra Bartlett

Accurate Basement Repair has always been professional. They take the time to do the job right without cutting corners at a fair price. Accurate Basement Repair

Our basement has managed for 50 years without a sump pump but radon specialist found some water underneath the basement slab when he wanted to install his radon pump. He just wanted to make sure that we do not need a more fundamental repair. Paul was really responsive. He inspected our basement and looked at the crawl space. He determined that despite the minimal water presence, overall basement has not sign of water damage in the corners. He directly spoke to radon company and reassured them of the condition of basement and gave a couple of potential spots for radon pump installation. He did not create an issue to sell services or products and I really appreciate that. He also went above and beyond to coordinate with Radon company. I will definitely use him in future

From start to finish, Lombard worked with me to accomplish everything needed. They kept me updated on every task and worked around some back-ordered lights so that several trips were needed to get everything done. Beej, who did all the work, is able to think out problems and come up with solutions that other electricians may have walked away from. Rick was always helpful, and I'm sure I bothered him several times with questions that seemed silly, and I know he came out to the house to work out the various problems with Beej. This wasn't my first time using Lombard, and I have never had a negative experience, I will use them again if needed, and I have recommended them highly to all my friends

1st Choice Inspection
5.0
1st Choice Inspection is truly THE BEST CHOICE for homeowners: I learned so much from them just by tagging along for the nearly three-hour meeting that occurred less than 24 hours ago!!! They meticulously examined everything, top to bottom, outside to inside, visible to invisible, known to unknown (to me, at least: THEY KNOW EVERYTHING that needs to be checked out!!!). Just as important, however, is their explanation of everything they were doing (about two-thirds of which I already had some clue about, having owned my current home for more than a decade, yet the final one-third which I never would've guessed), as well as the potential near- and far-future impact of everything they were discovering. Similarly, they had PROMPT AND INFORMATIVE RESPONSES, IN REAL TIME, to all of my nit-picky questions about this-and-that, which I greatly appreciated!!! (I'm a naturally curious person who loves learning anything I can in whatever situation I happen to be in at the moment.) Indeed, they helped me decide what needs to be addressed before I move in and what can be held off on for 1/5/10 years (which's my own plan that's served me oh-so well in the past). Perhaps the best, though, was their including my school-aged son in the process, allowing him to feel important by having him check to see whether a couple of electrical outlets in each room were in working order, along with finding the dimmer and/or light switches in each-and-every room. And they even laughed at my jokes, which I found most affirming and quite charming!!! Lastly, their price structure is EVER-SO-AFFORDABLE!!! I paid about the same for their services as I do for a year's worth of a basic Disney+ bundle. (And you-all know how inexpensive that is!) I've already decided to have them do an inspection of my current home, prior to putting it on the market, so I know what I should "fix up" before the open house and what I really don't need to worry about. 1st Choice Inspection truly is THE BEST CHOICE I could've ever made for my soon-to-be sanctuary!!! If you, too, want to feel secure in your new-home purchase, you'll want to have them on your team. They couldn't have been better. Estimate was lower than previous one which only included "evaluating" the cracked wall. Reconstruction of the wall was a major part of the job. Crew was polite, unintrusive (even though job involved some excavation. Wall is fine, basement is dry. We felt fortunate to have found this company. Even though this is a report from >1 yr, it was memorably good service and I wanted to submit it

ProGuard Environmental Services

Gary was prompt in returning our calls and was very easy to deal with when it came to scheduling an appointment. He did a thorough inspection of the mold problem including going into a crawl space to see how far the mold went. Gary has an x-ray hand held device that measures temperature behind walls that can help in finding potential molding problems. I don't remember what he called it but he showed us what he was looking at and in using that device it was very helpful to see in areas that we couldn't see without taking down all the walls. After identifiying where the problem was he sent us a straight forward proposal and what the cost was going to be. Gary and one of his guys came out to our house and were in and out of our home in approx 5-6 hours. They did a great job cleaning up the problem in our bathroom and in the crawlspace under the bathroom. Gary went out of his way to make sure we understood what he was going to do and never hesitated in answering any concerns or questions we had. His professionalism and great attitude made it a pleasure to do business with. He was very accommodating, always accessible through phone, emails, and or text messages. I can't tell you what a big deal this was for us personally. We highly recommend his services

Zero-Trace Air Quality

Zero-Trace Air Quality I'm currently using them on a big home that they are working on, they have been on it for ten or twelve days already. I have used them on one previous house and I have one more that they will be doing. I have been satisfied with them. The first job was about $3 or $4,000. The one they are currently on is $7 or $8,000. I have been very satisfied with them so far. They are friendly, they get in and they get the work done and they do what they say they will do. I think they are reasonably priced. They were recommended by my attorney that has worked them on numerous projects over the years. He's an environmental engineer, so he's been an environmental attorney for environmental engineering companies. He's very knowledgeable and feels that these guys are the best that he knows of, having been in the business for twenty some years and I would concur completely
They exceeded all expectations, and our expectations were high based on a referral of them to us. We had an egress window installed and tuck pointing done. They were very meticulous, did a fabulous job, and were professional throughout. They not only cleaned up afterwards, but made the place look better than when they arrived. And they were great with our young kids, who still talk about Max and Jim as "great workers." They were a pleasure to work with, and what a gift to have honest, meticulous professionals with whom you can trust with such important work on a home. We cannot recommend them highly enough
StopMold LLC is a mold remediation company. We clean and treat mold growth in attics, basements, crawl spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, garages and more. We do residential, commercial, industrial, schools, and clinics. After cleaning we treat with a mold sealing agent that comes with a 10 year written warranty
The vendor did excellent work. Steve and his crew were punctual and very professional. When we received our quote, we were told that they would be at our home for 2 to 3 days. They finish all the work in 1 1/2 days because his crew worked well together and were very efficient. They also cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend them to all of our friends
They were quick to give me an estimate and quick to schedule to get the work done. They were great to work with overall. I give credit to them for even wanting to step foot in the bug infested, damp, cob webbed, dark crawlspace in the first place!

What do customers in Milwaukee say about Encapsulate Crawl Space?
Everdry solved our wet crawl space problem. The work was done approximately 8 years ago and we have not had water in our crawl space since the work was done. What a relief to no longer have to worry about this problem. The project was expensive, but was worth the money. We no longer have to worry about mold and musty odors plus drying out the crawl space. Job well done!!
