We first used Sims for replacing windows in our sun room, and they did an awesome job at a very competitive price. Chad was the project manager and he and the crew were great throughout the whole process. They even ordered some aluminum siding to exactly match what we have, so they could replace the siding around the new windows, and as a bonus they fixed the siding on one corner of the house which had some pre-existing dings in it, AND Chad was able to get us a no-cost replacement pane for a bathroom window which had cracked during the winter - a window which was installed by the previous owners of our house, so not even something that Simms was responsible for. Chad followed up after the work was done, and even ordered new screens for the windows because I wanted half screens instead of the full length ones that came standard. Later when we wanted to add a bathroom in an unfinished space upstairs, it was a no-brainer to choose Sims again. By this time, Aaron Harrison had joined Sims as their construction manager. Aaron is always a pleasure to work with, provides excellent communication throughout the process, and his expertise in all areas of construction is amazing. But the best thing about Aaron is his integrity. He is very diligent about making sure that all work and materials are up to the highest standards of quality, and if anything does happen to not go according to plan, Aaron will make it right, without fail. He thoroughly checks the work done by the subcontractors, and if it's not up to Aaron's standards, he will have them come back and make it right. With Aaron, we had complete confidence that we were going to be happy with the finished project. And one final comment not related to the project: Months later after all the heavy spring rains, we got water in our basement and had no idea who to call for help, so I called Aaron just to ask if he knew who we could call. Not only did he give us some advice about restoration companies to call, he placed a call to the plumber who had worked on our bathroom (Tom Lankey of Big Ten Plumbing) and Tom came out first thing the next morning to get our sump pump running. So Aaron definitely goes above and beyond, even after the project is completed.
